Standing upon the shoulders of revolutionaries in North America: Western Capitalism was defined by the three industrial revolutions of: steam, electricity and technology. Post Bretton Woods and Nixon's removal of the gold standard: the petrodollar as the global reserve currency has enabled relentless progress- centred upon the land of the free and the home of the brave.
But nothing lasts forever...
As we have seen with the monetary and fiscal repercussions of the necessary response to the coronavirus- the dollar, whilst being a force for good: comes under increasing pressure as dollar scarcity in times of crisis gives way to inflationary pressures. In the shadows is the eurodollar system which has recently transitioned from LIBOR to SOFR, and serves again as a somewhat intangible force which amplifies the already stretched petrodollar system. The reliance on oil rather than gold also brings new challenges, as evidenced by the dramatic deflationary collapse of the oil price in March 2020.
The climate crisis continues to intensify and governments around the world, under the leadership of supranational bodies such as the United Nations: place increasing emphasis on Gaia.
Now if this were a simulation...
How would the matrix comptrollers ensure a smooth transition to the future multipolar (new world) empire? Well of course there would be a push to a higher level of industry:Industry 4.0/5.0
There would be a transition away from hydrocarbons and to green hydrogen, solar, wind, nuclear and EVs.
There would be the development of a new monetary system- which would arise like phoenix out of the ashes of the petrodollar system.
And there would be a reset of financial markets and an orderly transition ensured through the populace's focus on the 2022 financial collapse and the pandemic.
