BANKNIFTY Index has resistance near 56500 – 56600 range and if index crosses and sustains above this level then may reach near 57000 – 57100 range.
Banknifty has immediate support near 55600 - 55500 range and if this support is broken then index may tank near 55100 - 55000 range.

Gap down opening and further tank to low near 55165 then bounced and made high near 55690 and closed near 55525.
