RSI MA Cross + Divergence Signal (V2) Core Logic RSI + Moving Average The script calculates a standard RSI (default 14). It then overlays a moving average (SMA/EMA/WMA, default 9). When RSI crosses above its MA → bullish momentum. When RSI crosses below its MA → bearish momentum. Divergence Filter Signals are only valid if there’s confirmed divergence: Bullish divergence: Price makes a lower low, RSI makes a higher low. Bearish divergence: Price makes a higher high, RSI makes a lower high. Overbought / Oversold Filter Optional extra: Bullish signals only valid if RSI ≤ 30 (oversold). Bearish signals only valid if RSI ≥ 70 (overbought). This ensures signals happen in “stretched” conditions. Risk & Trade Management Entries taken only when all conditions align. Exits can be managed with ATR stops, partial take-profits, breakeven moves, and trailing stops (we coded these in the strategy version). Cooldown, session filters, and daily loss guard to keep risk tight. 🔹 Strengths ✅ High selectivity: Combining RSI cross + divergence + OB/OS means signals are rare but higher quality. ✅ Great at catching reversals: Divergence highlights where price may be running out of steam. ✅ Risk management baked in: ATR stops + partial exits smooth out equity curve. ✅ Works across markets: ES, FX, crypto — anywhere RSI divergences are respected. ✅ Flexible: You can loosen/tighten filters depending on aggressiveness. 🔹 Weaknesses ❌ Lag from pivots: Divergence only confirms after a few bars → you enter late sometimes. ❌ Choppy in ranges: In sideways markets, RSI divergences appear often and whipsaw. ❌ Filters reduce signals: With all filters ON (divergence + OB/OS + trend + session), signals can be very rare — may under-trade. ❌ Not standalone: Needs higher-timeframe context (trend, liquidity pools) to avoid counter-trend entries. 🔹 Best Ways to Trade It Use Higher Timeframe Bias Run the strategy on 15m/1H, but only trade in direction of higher timeframe trend (e.g., 4H EMA). Example: If daily is bullish → only take bullish divergences. Pair With Structure Look for signals at key zones: HTF support/resistance, VWAP, or FVGs. Divergence + RSI cross inside an FVG is a strong entry trigger. Adjust OB/OS for Volatility For crypto/FX: use 35/65 instead of 30/70 (markets trend harder). For ES/S&P: 30/70 works fine. Risk Management Is King Use partial exits: take profit at 1R, trail rest. Size by % of equity (we coded this into the strategy). Avoid News Spikes Divergences break down around CPI, NFP, Fed announcements — stay flat. 🔹 When It Shines Trending markets that make extended pushes → clean divergences. Reversal zones (oversold → bullish bounce, overbought → bearish fade). Swing trading (15m–4H) — less noise than 1m/5m scalping. 🔹 When to Avoid Low volatility chop → lots of false divergences. During high-impact news → RSI swings wildly. Directionality OscillatorDirectionality Oscillator is a simple momentum tool that measures net price displacement against total price activity over a chosen look-back period. It takes today’s closing price minus the close from “len” bars ago and divides that by the sum of all absolute bar-to-bar moves across the same span. The result is a value between –1 and +1, where positive values show that upward moves dominated and negative values show that downward moves prevailed. To smooth out short-term noise, the indicator applies a five-bar simple moving average to the normalized value. A color gradient—from red at –1, through gray at 0, to green at +1—paints the line, making it easy to see whether bearish or bullish pressure is strongest. Two horizontal lines at the user-defined threshold and its negative mark zones of extreme directional strength. Readings above the positive threshold signal strong bullish momentum, and readings below the negative threshold signal strong bearish momentum. Traders can watch for crossings above or below these threshold lines as trend confirmations or potential reversal warnings. A cross of the zero line indicates a shift in net directional control and can serve as an early trend-change alert when supported by price action or volume. Because it filters out sideways noise by normalizing against total activity, it highlights sustained directional thrust more clearly than a raw price-change measure.

Sector Relative StrengthDescription This script compares sector performance relative to the S&P 500. Sector price levels or charts alone can mislead, because they tend to move with the broader market. An increase in a sector’s price does not necessarily indicate strength, as it may simply be following the index. For more a more reliable picture, the script calculates a ratio between each sector ETF and SPY. If the ratio has increased, the sector has outperformed the index. In case it has declined, the sector has underperformed. If the value is near zero, the sector has moved in line with the index. The sectors are presented in a table and sorted on relative performance. Calculation Method The performance is expressed as a percentage change in the ratio over a user-defined lookback period. The default lookback is set to 21 bars, which corresponds to one month on a daily chart. This value can be adopted in the settings to match preferred time period. Z-Score In addition to the percentage change, the script calculates a Z-score of the ratio, which measures how far the current value deviates from its recent mean. A high positive Z-score indicates that the ratio is significantly above its average, while a negative value indicates it is below. This normalization allows for comparison between sectors with different price levels or volatility profiles. Table Columns - Relative %: The sector's performance relative to SPY over the selected lookback period - Z-Score: Standardized measure of current performance ratio is relative to its average - Trend Arrow: Indicates the direction of relative performance up down or flat Example Interpretation For example, if XLK shows a 3.7% change, it has outperformed SPY over the selected period. Another sector might show a -2.1% change, which indicates underperformance. While both values shows relative strength or weakness, the Z-score is optional and can provide additional context based on how unusual that performance is compared to the sector's own recent behavior. Use Case This approach helps evaluate overall market conditions and supports a top-down method. By starting with sector performance, it becomes easier to identify where the market is showing leadership or weakness. This allows the stock selection process to be more deliberate and can help refine or customize screeners based on certain sectors.

Cumulative Weighted Change (Session) with 14 MAThis indicator provides the session weighted cumulative change of the Magnificent 7(AAPL META GOOG AMZN MSFT NVDA TSLA), it is weighted according to their market capitalization and size in relation to size of the market. The bar to bar current change is plotted by the fast line that begins its calculations at the start of each daily session, the smoother(slower) line is the 14 period Volume Weighted Moving Average of the cumulative change. I use this in conjunction with a timeframe continuity indicator in order to weed out invalid signals, I have one that I have recently published. I use this to trade futures and index stock options, since the 7 tickers that this indicator is built off of are the biggest force that moves markets this ends up acting as an alpha indicator if you can find a consistent and reliable way to weed out false signals. Mark the indicator as "Favorite". 2. Open Pine Screener. 3. Choose a watchlist. 4. Choose this indicator. 5. Change the settings as needed. 6. Make sure you set timeframe to "5 minutes" and not the default "1 day". If you choose "Bullish trend", then "Signal X" is a shortcut for RRS > 0 for that timeframe. Similarly "Bearish trend" for "Signal X" means RRS < 0. Pro-tip #1: use Symbol syncing between tabs to easily go over the results. Pro-tip #2: you can have two tabs open for "Bullish" and "Bearish" pine screeners (even synced to the same color), so you don't have to change settings everytime.
