ATR Timeframe RangeThis indicator shows the ATR range on the daily or any other timeframe on your current chart. All settings are fully customize-able.
Channel ATR1 - What is the Channel ATR indicator
This is an envelope indicator (like the Bollinger bands indicator) used to evaluate how much the price diverge from it's moving average.
This indicator can be used as a system on it's own. I recommend to use it when the market goes side way, although, you can also use it when the market is trending.
What makes this indicator so relevant and reliable ? The use of the ATR to build the envelope. Read below if you wan to know more.
2 - How is the Channel ATR computed
The main component is an EMA. The envelope is made of 3 layers, each is the Average True Range, plot at a multiple distance from the EMA (1*EMA, 2*EMA, 3*EMA) . If you don't know what is the ATR, it's basically a measure of the volatility (you can read more about it here ).
Each layer of the envelope is a multiple of the measure of the volatility. Let's see how to use it.
3 - How to use the Channel ATR indicator
You can use this indicator in different strategies :
- Return to the mean: When the price goes out of the envelope, it's an excess of the market. You can take advantage of this by betting to a return to the EMA value.
- Trend following : If the market is tending, you can buy/sell when the price touch the EMA and place a target at another level in the envelope.
- Stop loss: Since each envelope layer is built from the ATR (i.e. the volatility), you can use it to place your stop at least at 1 ATR from your entry, to not be hit by the market noise.
- Find your own way : The Channel ATR is a very rich and powerful indicator, you can try to built your own trading system on the top of it.

Strategy - Bobo PAPATRHi I've revamped this bot mentioned in the linked idea to make it work with v4 of pine. In doing so there are some very significant changes to how it works. The main one is that it no longer uses traditional daily pivot calculations to calculate the bands. It creates a more dynamic intraday set of pivot points based on recent price action rather than yesterday's ohlc. As published, the bot is tuned for a 15 min time frame. But it actually works well on lower time frames you just need to adjust the lookback periods in settings a bit to re tune it. It's also tuned to ES really but will need tweaking for a different instrument at the very least.
The basic concept is recent price action is used to calculate a 'middle' around which red and green bands are located. Their position or width is largely determined by recent volatility. The middle line is again calculated from recent price action. The three lines from that form a tradeable range with green at the top and red at the bottom. The strategy is simple enough, it shorts as it sinks from outside red, and longs when rising above green. The basic principle being that once you enter that range you have a high probability of hitting the middle before you hit your stop loss. So the basic principle is you are trying to capture the inherent ranginess of liquid indices like S&P 500. That back and forth movement that happens. The bot is capturing this by fading extremes of a recent range but the problem with that is you'dd get murdered in a strong trend. To mitigate that there is a trend calculation running in the background the will prevent trading against firm trends mostly. So the bot should trade mostly in rangy conditions because that is what it is trying to do.
Bot will close issue close signals automatically upon crossing the middle, it also will close automatically at predefined stops or limits. These values are denominated in market mintick values. For example the CFD SPX500 has a mintick of 0.1. Therefore a stop value of 100 will equate to 10 points on the index. If trading the same market via ES1! the mintick value is different - 0.25. So in this case a value of 40 is required to set the stop at 10 points.
Anyway shout if you have questions. Hope it's useful.

Range Box + VMA cloudsHere's a mix of two indicators that I find particularly useful.
One is a Range Box showing High and Low of the day plus 50% range, as well as high and low of the previous day. The Box changes color based on whether it closed higher or lower than the previous session.
The second one plots Variable Moving Average clouds - short and long term one.
The rules are pretty simple - take long trades only if the box is green, short trades if it's red.
Candle close above both clouds - long signal. If the price is being rejected from the long term cloud - buy the dip (or rally).
Pretty straightforward.
Enjoy

Normailzed CandleThis indicator normalizes Day's candle with Open. Idea is to see the daily movement in the context of the Open of the Day.
Larry Williams talks about Open being the most important price of the day. Hence, this indicator.
The Green line is average Open-to-High for occurrences of Red days. The Red line is average Open-to-Low for occurrences of Green days.
Average are not perfect calculations since occurrences(of Red or Green) will vary within the time-span used for averages.
These can used to gauge likelihood of the intra-day price reversal. If the price exceeds green/red line, there is higher likelihood of the price closing above/below open.
The blue lines are average Open-to-close for Green and Red occurrences.
Be careful on days where consecutive 3rd Highest High or Lowest Low day is made and also on the next day after such day. Prices may turn direction at least for a short while.
The precursor to this script of the Candle Infopanel script. That script was just numbers in panel and this is a graphical representation. I
Some of the calculations from original script are commented here because it would make visuals clutters (and probably the left-out calculation are not critical to making trade decisions!)
Developing Range v1.0Developing Range v1.0
----------------------------
Azimuth Dynamics
Scalping tool for help finding potentially high probability reactive levels. I suggest using on a 5min chart.
GRAY BAND: yesterday's High-Low range
BLUE BAND: today's Developing Range. Mean of today's High-Low range so far and yesterday's High-Low range, this is calculated for each of today's bars
THIN BLUE LINE: the mean of today's range median and yesterday's range median.
Note: we do not use the DAILY bar via 'security()' to obtain today's high and low. This would essentially be forward looking, instead we use iteration to check from the current bar back to midnight, bar by bar. This then allows a developing range to be established as the day prints new highs and lows.
Inspired by volatility trading textbook.
Filthy REPAINTING of McNasty Profits*** THIS SCRIPT REPAINTS ***
Looking at the history will go you NO IDEA as to actual performance, or alerts that triggered within each bar. I made all of the alerts repaint in order to allow an alert each minute a condition is met, and never again after.
For instance; receive an alert each time the price is within a particular plotted area on the chart (as defined by settings). This could not be accomplished without repainting.
In order to receive a notification of the price crossing a particular line, YOU NEED TO SET ALERTS TO "ONCE PER MINUTE."
This way, if you use an alert to enter a position and then get stopped out, you can re-enter on the next alert if the price moves in the original direction again within the same bar.
Also, I made this script so that each entry has an available Stop Loss alert that will get you out of a position going in the wrong direction (and option to enter in opposite direction). You set the parameters within the settings.
Although each position has a tight Stop Loss available via Alert, I also recommend using a similar tight Stop Loss directly on your exchange in case an error occurs anywhere within the chain.
This script HAS A LOT OF OPTIONS for how you can use it, from very conservative to extremely aggressive. There are NINE customizable alerts for the user to decide how/when to use, or ignore entirely.
When the Alerts are set to "ONCE PER MINUTE" you will get an alert each time the price crosses the corresponding area on the chart, but the characters only remain on the charts history if the alert was still firing (Once Per Minute) when the bar closed. This is why the Alerts on the chart's history are completely irrelevant.
As you can imagine, this is a LOT OF ALERTS. Consequently, this is meant for use with "bot trading" using the Alerts to automatically Open and Close positions.
I am using it with 3Commas to make trades on Bybit.
At the time of publishing, this is "Invite Only." I need to test it out over a range of time, conditions, chart time frames, pairs, etc... before opening it to the public.
DH: Grid Box Mapper For Grid TradingTHE GRID BOX MAPPER
This indicator maps out (literally puts a box around) potentially profitable grid range areas. Not only that... it highlights each grid range box (red or green) to indicate the likely trend tendency for the forthcoming price action. Rarely a day goes by when a grid trading opportunity is not waiting for you... never miss another winner!
Remember, when seeking a grid range for your trades, you are looking for a range in a sideways or upwardly trending market. This indicator presents prime spots where this potential may play out. It works with Heikin-Ashi candles (recommended) or traditional candles.
MULTIPLE RANGES DISPLAYED
Even though, I suggest a grid range from 4% to 8% on most cases, some traders prefer other range spans. For this reason, all range opportunities are exhibited so that you may evaluate each for your personalized trade preference.
TREND TENDANCY HIGHLIGHTED
If a grid box is highlighted in GREEN and meets your other criteria, you may be on your way to a successful trade. If a grid box is highlighted in RED, you should exercise caution before trading this area (it may be ok, but there is a detected trend tendency to the downside that you must consider). In addition, each grid box will update trend tendency via highlight color changes as prices and time moves forward. Do not abort an active grid trade just because a grid box changes trend colors (it may be a minor dip that adds buys that later turn to profits) . However, if you experience an extend trend change or a dramatic decline in prices, you may want to consider an exit or double check you have a stoploss or counter measure in place.
NOT ALL BOXES ARE CREATED EQUAL
This indicator is NOT a trade signal generator! As it's name implies, it is a "Grid Box Mapper." It is designed to HELP you map out where and how your next grid range might start. DO NOT assume the range indicated is the best range (the Grid Box Mapper merely suggests a range, but often you can expand or contract your range to hit support, resistance or FIB levels).
COMBINE WITH OTHER GRID INDICATORS
This indicator works best in combination with other indicators -PLUS- a thorough evaluation of the market you are entering. Alway check relevant structure, support, resistance, trend and prior price action before beginning any grid. Please consider a combination of other indicators I've created. This will help you refine your grid start parameters and opportunities. For example, this Grid Box Mapper works hand-in-glove with the GRID RANGE FINDER INDICATOR and the GRID START INDICATOR .
LESSONS IN HISTORY
There is a hidden value in this indicator if you scroll back in time and evaluate the various grid box opportunities mapped out. ASK YOURSELF: Would you have traded, why, what range and what was the outcome? You can use the Tradingview PLAYBACK feature to develop your skills at finding grid range opportunities. NOTE: The Tradingview PLAYBACK feature does not work with Heikin-Ashi candles (as a work-around, you and switch to traditional for playback).

DH: Grid Range Finder w/Fib + Trend DotsGrid Range Finder w/Fib + Trend Dots
This indicator is ideal for traders pursuing a GRID TRADING strategy. While it is true that the trading process is typically automated , the first and most important step is to find a sideways, consolidating, ranging or slowly upward trending market. There are GRID TRADING tutorials I've published (linked below) that go into this fascinating (and profitable) trading style.
If info on chart above is not readable, adjust the chart or view screenshot below.
This indicator will assist in scouting out market opportunities where a grid might be set-up. It provides support and resistance lines for both long and short term price action, plus uniquely incorporates trend tendencies in both the support and resistance lines -PLUS- as "Trend Dots" at the bottom of chart.
Remember, you are looking to start your grid at (or above) support during an upwardly trending price area (Green Trend).
Next you must decide the range depth of your grid (I suggest 4% to 8% as measured on the chart) . This is why the indicator has "Auto-Fibonacci Lines" added, they help in projecting how high or deep your range might go.
And finally, "box out" a projected grid range that has logical support, resistance and fib parameters.
TIPS FOR HOW TO USE THIS INDICATOR
TO HELP FIND OPTIMAL GRID TRADING OPPORTUNITIES
Use this indicator in combination with other indicators to fully maximize your results.
First zoom out and determine the overall structure and phase the market is in (long term).
Remember, GRIDS perform best in sideways or slow upward ranging trends. Look for this.
THERE ARE NUMEROUS WAYS TO USE THIS INDICATOR
BELOW IS ONE WAY, TO GET YOU STARTED:
1. Watch for a major support point.
2. Followed by a higher minor support point.
3. Start grid during GREEN trend indication (as seen on indicator trend dots or trend support line)
• If using Heikin Ashi candles (recommended) start grid on a GREEN candle
4. Map out your grid range of 4% to 8% using Support & Resistance lines and/or Auto-Fibonacci lines on chart.
This is not a "SIGNAL" type indicator, it is a valuable tool (or aid) designed to assist you in conjunction with other indicators and market knowledge. Some grid traders use ONLY this one indicator, but you should evaluate the others I've created which may help you refine your grid start parameters and opportunities. You should also join our Crypto Grid Masters Community (Discord) - lots of help and ideas there!
