Super Moving Average Tools [orion35]
This indicator has been developed to cover almost all types of moving averages (MA) used in the market. Two of the 21 MA tools can be drawn independently on the price chart.
These MA tools include traditional averages such as SMA , EMA , DEMA , as well as innovative averaging tools such as LFS (Laguerre Filter Smoother), LSMA (Least Square Moving Average), ZLSMA (Zerolag LSMA ) developed by @veryfid and SSMA (Super Smoothed Moving Average ) by John F. Ehlers .
In addition, the traditional bar opening or closing values can be drawn on the chart as a source, as well as the data produced by a different indicator (for example, RSI ) can be used to calculate the average with this indicator and can be plotted on that oscillator. The chart above shows the drawings made on both the price bars and the RSI oscillator.
If desired, the intersections of the plotted curves can be showed as signals. Also, alarms have been added according to the intersection conditions.
Another great feature of this indicator is that signals can be filtered according to the instant ADX (Average Directional Movement indeX) value of the market. By using this filter, false signals in horizontal markets can be reduced . Also, with the threshold value setting in the ADX filter, calibration can be made for different assets and time frames when desired.
In addition, when desired, the data of different indicators drawn by using the "Raw Source" option can be intersected.
You can also write the combinations you like from the different MA tools and settings you use as a comment below.

Any 8 Moving Averages - Alerts, Clouds & PercentagesANY 8 MOVING AVERAGES WITH ALERTS, COLOR CHANGING CLOUDS AND PERCENTAGE GAPS
This is a fully customizable moving average cloud with alerts. It has 8 moving averages that can be individually set to any type such as: EMA, SMA, HMA, WMA, VWMA & RMA. Each moving average paints green when price is above it and paints red when price is below it. They include colored clouds between the price and each moving average as well.
You can individually change the length, colors, type of moving average and turn them off for those of you that only want a few moving averages on your chart at once.
There is also a percentage gap table that tells you how far away the price is from each moving average which are labeled accordingly.
You can also set alerts for when price crosses each moving average.
***HOW TO USE***
When all the moving averages are green, buy dips down to the next lower moving average. When all the moving averages are red, short the tops up to the next moving average.
Trade in the direction of the trend and wait for all lines to turn one color before taking trades in that direction.
Make sure there is a big enough percentage gap to the next moving average before taking a trade.
***MARKETS***
This indicator can be used as a signal on all markets, including stocks, crypto, futures and forex.
***TIMEFRAMES***
This moving average can be used on all timeframes.
***TIPS***
Try using numerous indicators of ours on your chart so you can instantly see the bullish or bearish trend of multiple indicators in real time without having to analyze the data. Some of our favorites are our Auto Fibonacci, Directional Movement Index + Fisher Price Action, Volume Profile With Buy & Sell Pressure, Auto Support And Resistance and Money Flow Index in combination with this moving average cloud. They all have unique features to help you make better and faster trading decisions.
Custom Moving AveragesThis is a useful indicator which allows you to plot multiple fully customized Moving Averages. Here are some of its features:
Ability to fine-tune a wide variety of moving averages: smoothing type, periods, offsets, timeframes, sources, thickness, line/label color and text color.
Descriptive labels to avoid misreading.
Simple and well-organized Input Tab.
HMAISR This indicator is very similar to the movements of the original rsi, but in some places it works faster.
This indicator is not perfect and does not work everywhere, this version is just my experiment.
Use this indicator at your own risk, it may be suitable for your trading as some areas that I have indicated have worked out perfectly, experiment if you find it interesting and remember that it can make a mistake at any time!
Here is another example of how you can use the indicator where I highlighted the green arrow up, notice how quickly the indicator reacted, note that it went faster for the simple moving average than the same RSI.
Momentum RibbonThe Momentum Ribbon is a collection of Moving Averages which indicate the severity of pull-backs in a given market.
As the ribbon spreads apart, it indicates more and more significant support/resistance for a trending market. As it is compressed back together, it displays a blue colour to indicate a "cooling" of trend momentum.
Adjustable Moving Average periods and types! You can customize the parameters of your ribbon to your heart's content!

DESCRIPTION:
Lowest green/red line
The lowest alternating green red band is simply a general market indicator. It's EMA 50 over 200. This is a generally good indicator of current market conditions. If the band is red, you should favor taking short positions. If the band is green, long positions.
The three MA colored bands
This sophisticated indicator uses 3 central MA's in calculating its goodness. The HMA (Hull's Moving Average), at the bottom (of the three principal bands), is the most sensitive and responsive to immediate market conditions. It will generally give you the signal to enter or exit at the beginning of the price action move. But, this could also be a "false" signal - that doesn't continue in the expected direction.
The middle band is VWMA, volume-weighted moving average, and it is sensitive to volume - so it may turn green or red faster as volume increases or decreases. It gives somewhat similar signals to the top moving average which is the EMA or exponential moving average.
The GREEN RED signals
The signals below the bands which are true green and true red are "SUPER" signals which represent that all of the six small bands of each MA agree. These are very strong signals to enter and exit a position. If multiple SUPER signals agree this is even more confirmation.
SETTINGS
You can change the ema signals. They are currently optimized for scalping, but this indicator can work for larger timeframes.
I couldn't make this open-source as it represents a lot of work to get it to this point. If you are interested in this indicator and would like to have a custom version coded for your purposes, let me know.
BUY/SELL SIGNALS from LSMA/ALMA/HMAThis indicator uses the Least Squares Moving Average (LSMA) in tandem with the Arnaud Legoux Moving Average (ALMA) and Hull Moving Average (HMA) to generate buy-sell signals, represented by the light blue and orange crosses respectively.
The yellow lines produced by the indicator show periods of market uncertainty and possible reversal, and a modified, user-defined VWAP is given along with a 200 EMA. The point of this indicator was to create a smoother, more visually appealing moving-average, price action-based indicator when compared to the trend-step and simple moving average indicators available. This indicator uses a fast (25 period) LSMA coupled with a slower (50 period) HMA and ALMA in order to make signals both smooth and fast.
This indicator will work on all markets, except the modified VWAP will naturally not function if the volume is unpublished for that market. Use of this indicator will be very strong in trending markets, as the yellow line will spot possible reversals quite early, meaning the trader can be ready early for the buy/sell signal to appear. Use of this indicator in sideways market conditions will be limited, as it is for all moving average-based indicators, but the damage will be minimal as bad trades will be quickly realized by the indicator and the color will switch to yellow, this is possible because of the settings differences between the period lengths of the LSMA vs the ALMA + HMA.
MA VisualizerThe MA Visualizer is made up of 5 Moving Averages (MA)
All MA change color when the price closes above or below the MA line.
The background between the MA line and price will also change color, this creates the Visualizer.
When two or more MA are selected the two visualizer's will combine and create a gradient effect.
Each MA can be adjusted with 6 source selection's to choose from (SMA , EMA , WMA , HMA , RMA , WVMA).
The Visualizer can be turned off while leaving the MA lines turned on and vice versa.
Their is also a MA Cross indicator built-in.
MA MTF Cross StrategyStrategy Introduction
This multi-timeframe strategy generates buy and sell entries based on two Moving Averages’ cross with an option to turn on trend direction confirmation through 3rd Moving Average selection. While all three moving averages can be selected from the following list:

Suggestions for Usage
Mostly winning trades by set defaults have no prominent drawdown so losing trades can be abolished with Stoploss. Would soon add Stoploss and Takeprofit options in next version. Also, if you want an alerts version of it then just comment below and would publish it later. I’ve found this strategy useful on 1D timeframe with described default settings but multiple Mas selections can be explored further.
Cloud Ribbon ++ by [JohnnySnow]Inspired by my favorite EMA ribbon - "EMA Ribbon " by fskrypt.
This Ribbon ADD the option to choose the avarage algorithm of the ribbon .
Created also to be more friendly to read along with trendlines and Fibonacci retracements.
For those like me that NOT use this ribbon to find exact price action but instead, to have a grasp of possible Support/Resistance strenght ahead.
High transparency lines and a configurable color palette for filling the background give the ribbon a look of support/ Resistance cloud Strenght.
Each MA length, line, and background color can be easily configured.
Hull MA TimeFrame CrossOverHello traders,
Although this strategy is configured on BTCUSDT , with a changing of settings, it can be used on any trading instrument.
Here it is seen, on the 2 hour chart. With Trading Fees included in result (adjust to suit your exchange fees).
The candle crossover is set to Daily timeframe.
That means that the Candle crossover is going to see if todays price is higher than yesterdays price.
If user sets this to 4 hour timeframe, the candle crossover would be when price is higher than the the price 4 hours ago...
The rest is simple, a moving average to detect direction, and an ATR StopLoss (if activated).
There is StopLoss and Take Profit settings which work by percentage.
The periods of the moving average and the ATR can be adjusted, as can the TP % and SL %.
The price is taken from the CLOSE or the OPEN or OHLC4 etc... which can be changed in the settings. OPEN is recommended to avoid repainting.
The moving average also has selectable types (ALMA,SMA,EMA,WMA,HMA)
So if the Price is above the Moving average, and the moving average is above the alternate timeframe value, then a buy is activated
if the Price is below the Moving average, and the moving average is below the alternate timeframe value, then a sell is activated
if OPEN is selected as Price source, then the alternate timeframe value would be the OPEN of the alternate timeframes candle.
the values are all plotted on chart so user can see what is happening when what crosses over what, and then what changes when settings are adjusted.
Have FuN!
if this strategy brings you the epik win......
.... dont forget about me

Moving Average Gradient (MAG) The Moving Average Gradient Indicator uses multiple Moving Averages to create a gradient. It creates continually more faint MAs, filled upwards or downwards to the price at a certain opacity. It can be used efficiently for stocks, forex, crypto, and more. This indicator combines numerous Moving Averages of your choice, a few of which include:
EMA
SMA
WMA
HMA
RMA
DMA
LSMA
VAMA
TMA
MF
Using this indicator will make entries more simple because crossovers and crossovers can more easily be detected, either manually or using alerts. These multiple Moving Averages allow for a smoothed out price trend, and the filtering of irregular and odd short-term price fluctuations. Due to the ample count of price trends that are widely used, it is difficult to view the market through the eyes of all types of investors/traders. This indicator manages to counter exactly that, you will be able to see all existing trends and enter/exit positions accordingly. This indicator can be used with all chart types and works well with many other indicators. It allows for complete customization and offers easy-to-understand settings which can be designated to a certain individual. You can modify every single factor of the MAs which allows for an even more personalized and adapted Indicator that reflects your trading/ investing inquiries. Most importantly, it looks cool.
A few of the technical settings you can change are:
Moving Average Count (Select how many do you want to be displayed.)
Moving Average Type (EMA, SMA, WMA, etc.)
Source (close, open, high, low)
Separate MA Length (The length of each Moving Average, its lookback. How many previous candles should it be based on? Choose each Moving Average's lookback length.)
You can also change the style settings of the indicators like:
Progressive opacity percentage (By how much will the next MAs fill affect the other? 1st: 50%, 3rd: 30%, 4th: 20%, 5th: 10%)
Bullish Candle Color
Bearish Candle Color
This indicator is unique because it can be used for all strategies and all trading styles, for example, day trading or long-term investing, really anything if used correctly. The reason it can be used in so many instances is a result of the detailed and in-depth settings tab. This allows the indicator to be used and to be useful in various situations and allows you to dominate the market. You can either increase the MA length difference by progressively small amounts for day trading and create bigger gaps in the MA length difference for swing trading or long-term investing. Integrated alerts also enhance your efficiency while using this indicator because you can choose to be notified at the crossovers and crossunders of a pair of Moving Averages.
The technical portion of the indicator creates and plots the chosen amount or count of Moving Averages as specified in the settings tab. Then it fills each MA using the selected color and opacity. Afterward, it adapts the moving Averages to use the inputted data from the settings tab and uses it to plot them accordingly.
+ Ultimate MAWhat is the "Ultimate MA" exactly, you ask? Simple. It actually takes as its influence the Rex Dog Moving Average (which I have included as an MA in some of my other indicators), an invention by xkavalis that is simply an average of different length moving averages.
It's available for free on his account, so take a look at it.
I've recently become drawn to using fibonacci sequence numbers as lookbacks for moving averages, and they work really well (I'm honestly beginning to think the number doesn't matter).
You can see where this is going. The Ultimate MA is an average of several (eight) moving averages of varying lengths (5 - 144) all of fibonacci numbers. Sounds pretty basic, right? That's not actually the case, however.
If you were to take all these numbers, add them up, then average them by eight you'd get ~46. Now, stick a 46 period moving average on the chart and compare it to this one and see what you get. They track price very differently. Still, this all sort of sounds like I'm copying the RDMA, which isn't a sin in itself but is hardly grounds for releasing a new MA into the wild.
The actual initial problem I wanted to tackle was how to take in to account for the entire range of price action in a candle in a moving average. ohlc4 sort of does this, but it's still just one line that is an average of all these prices, and I thought there might be a better way not claiming that what I came upon is, but I like it).
My solution was to plot two moving averages: one an average of price highs, and the other an average of lows, thus creating a high/low price channel. Perhaps this is not a new thing at all. I don't know. This is just an idea I had that I figured I could implement easily enough.
Originally I had just applied this to a 21 period EMA, but then the idea sort of expanded into what you see here. I kept thinking "is 21 the best?" What about faster or slower? Then I thought about the RDMA and decided on this implimentation.
Further, I take the high and low moving averages and divide them by two in order to get a basis. You can turn all this stuff on or off, though I do like the default settings.
After that I wanted to add bands to it to measure volatility. There is an RDMA version that utilizes ATR bands, but I could never find myself happy with these.
I just wanted something... else. I also, actually made my own version of xkavalis' RDMA bands with some of the extra stuff I included here, but obviously didn't feel comfortable releasing it as an indicator as I hadn't changed it enough significantly in my mind to fairly do so. I eventually settled on Bollinger Bands as an appropriate solution to apply to the situation. I really like them. It took some fiddling because I had to create a standard deviation for both the high and low MAs instead of just one, and then figure out the best combination of moving averages and standard deviations to add and subtract to get the bands right.
Then I decided I wanted to add a few different moving averages to choose from instead of just an EMA even though I think it's the "best." I didn't want to make things too complicated, so I just went with the standards--EMA, SMA, WMA, HMA-- + 1, the ALMA (which gives some adjustability with its offset and sigma).
Also, you can run more than one moving average at a time (try running an HMA with a slower one).
Oh yeah, the bands? You can set them, in a dropdown box, to be based on which ever moving average you want.
Furthermore, this is a multi-timeframe indicator, so if you want to run it on a higher time frame than the one you are trading on, it's great for that.
ALSO, I actually have the basis color setup as multi-timeframe. What this means is that if you are looking at an hourly chart, you can set the color to a 4h (or higher) chart if you want, and if the current candle is above or below the previous close of the basis on that higher timeframe you will know simply by looking at the color of it ((while still being on the hourly chart). It's just a different way of utilizing higher timeframe information, but without the indicator itself plotted as higher timeframe.
I'm nearly finished. Almost last thing is a 233 period moving average. It's plotted as an average of the SMA, EMA, and Kijun-sen.
Lastly, there are alerts for price crossing the inner border of the bands, or the 233 MA.
Below is a zoomed in look at a chart.
Much credit and gratitude to xkavalis for coming up with the idea of an average of moving averages.

UT Bot v5This is an update by request, on someone elses strategy! well more of an edit, but also update from pine v4 to pine v5.
//CREDITS to HPotter for the orginal code. The guy trying to sell this as his own is a scammer lol.
//Edited and converted to @version=5 by SeaSide420 for Paperina
The UT Bot v5 is Movinging average (the MA) vs ATR (the ATR is in the form intended for use as trailing stop loss (ATR_TSL))
Entry logic:
buy = the MA > ATR_TSL and Price > ATR_TSL
sell = the MA < ATR_TSL and Price < ATR_TSL
The Moving average type can be changed in the settings:
options = "SMA", "EMA", "WMA", "HMA"]
the edits i made were:
convert to v5
Add TP and SL
Add Buy only or Sell only option
Add MA type option
Add price source option
Draw MA and ATR_TSL on-chart
Moving Average Trend█ OVERVIEW
This is a Moving Average Script that contains both a cloud and a ribbon that has independent MA-type selection.
⬆ green arrow up = up trend flip
⬇ red arrow down = down trend flip
🟢 Green Dot = Potential Long
🔴 Red Dot = Potential Short
█ CONCEPTS
1 — Cloud, like most trading algo, the cloud is made of 8 short term MA , with MA cross and MA cross (longema)
2 — Ribbon, this is by default turned off, the default values , an option in setting to change longema to look for ribbon cross
3 — Sequence, It goes from 1 – 9 at 9 the sequence resets. The sequence changes colour depending on if it’s a down trend(red) or uptrend(green) or an over extended trend (yellow)
Setup definitions
Red sell start = current close < the close 4 candles back
Yellow sell extended = current close < last close and current close < two closes back
Green buy start = current close > the close 4 candles back
Yellow buy extended = current close last close and current close < two closes back
This can help you find when it’s time to get out, or sit out of a choppy trend.

Triple Modified Hull Moving Average Cross By <Zakaria>Triple Modified Hull Moving Average Cross By
What is this?
this is a modified formula for Hull moving average, it is more accurate and predicts the golden and death cross earlier.
How to use?
Work better in high time frames (1D,1W)
the white line vs the red and the orange lines :
1 - when the white line crosses the red and the orange lines from the bottom the price will go down . Death cross!
2 - when the white line crosses the red and the orange lines from the top the price will go up . Golden Cross!
the red line vs the orange line :
1- when the orange line crosses the red line from the bottom the price will go down . Death cross!
2 - when the orange line crosses the red line from the top the price will go up . Golden Cross!
p.s: the lag between these two lines will be very small. use it in the 1W time frame to predict where exactly the bull market will end.
You can input your personalized values if you want!
Zero-Lag HMA Backtest v1.0 [loxx]This backtest compares profitability differences between a regular Hull Moving Average ( HMA ) and a Zero-Lag HMA .
Things to know:
- Profit is set to 1 ATR
- Stop-loss is set to 1.5 ATR.
- This is by design to test the minimum the profit scenario (1 ATR up) and the worst case loss scenario (1.5 ATR down) for momentum trading. Actual results vary when additional TPs are added
How to use:
- Adjust settings and dates to view different market structures and position scenarios
- See results in the "Strategy Tester" pane
Conclusions and what's next
- Modifying HMA does very little to improve backtest results
- Future iterations will include options to backtest various moving averages with additional modifiers to improve profits and avoide losses
