Given the past positive correlations, Ripple is expected to hit the $3 benchmark for a short holding probably before mid January of next year. They already have a well accepted technology and although their protocols are similar to other stuff, what they built is actually quite unique for the blockchain community. They are also one of the fasted cryptos out their for transferring and fees. The price expectancy of $XRP have not went down or been effected by negative correlations when Bitcoin or Ethereum's price went down. They are expected to continue having few positive correlations here and there in 2018.
