KOG Report – FOMC:

This is our view for FOMC today, please do your own research and analysis to make an informed decision on the markets. It is not recommended you try to trade the event if you have less than 6 months trading experience and have a trusted risk strategy in place. The markets are extremely volatile and can cause aggressive swings in price.

To be totally honest we’ve done well this week with the move down and up so based on where the price is now, within the range we’re not looking to take any risky positions. We’ve highlighted the levels on the hourly chart which show what we’re looking for if they decide to move the market during the statement and speech later today.

Extreme levels are above the 1930-35 order region sitting at 1950-55 and above that 1960-65. Based on a reaction in price there with confirmed resistance we’ll potentially look to test the short on the market initially into the 1930-35 region and below that 1914.

The ideal test on the short was around the order region which the price is trying to move away from, for that reason for us to test the long trade we will wait for the lower support regions of 1905 and below that 1895.

Due to the volatility these event can cause we’re happy to sit and wait for the levels or simply come back tomorrow where we are likely to get a better trade opportunity. We have some targets in Camelot so we will be using the bias and tracking Excalibur during the event letting it guide us.
