แม้สงครามการค้าระหว่างสหรัฐฯ-จีนที่ผ่อนคลายลงจะกดดันราคาทองคำ แต่ความตึงเครียดทางภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ที่ทวีความรุนแรงขึ้น ประกอบกับข้อมูล CPI ที่ออกมาต่ำกว่าคาด ส่งผลให้ราคาทองคำกลับมาพุ่งสูงอีกครั้ง โดยวันนี้ ตลาดยังคงจับตาข้อมูล PPI ที่เปิดเผยเมื่อคืนนี้ และนักลงทุนยังต้องจับตาความคืบหน้าของความตึงเครียดทางภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ด้วย
ขณะนี้โมเมนตัมขาขึ้นของราคาทองคำยังดีอยู่ รอจังหวะปรับฐานก่อนจึงค่อยซื้อทองคำ ส่วนในช่วงตลาดเอเชีย ให้จับตาแนวรับที่ 3,360 และ 3,350 ตามลำดับ โดยคาดว่าทองคำจะขยับขึ้นแตะแนวต้านทางจิตวิทยาที่ 3,400.
