BEST Trend Direction Helper (Strategy Edition)Hello traders
A follower asked me to convert my Trend Direction Helper into a strategy
So blessed this indicator reached the 1400+ likes milestone - I can't believe how many people are trading with it
I based the setup as follow:
- Entries on those green/red labels
- exit whenever a Simple Moving Averages cross in the opposite direction happen
- possibility to filter only Longs/Shorts or both
Also...
The strategy includes the Zig Zag/Pivots high/low and other options from the indicator version. I only added a quick strategy component with a hard exit concept based on SMA cross
All the best fam and... HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!!!!!!!

Bollinger Bands BAT/USDT 30minThis is ready to use Bollinger Band strategy that was backtested on the data from the previous year 2019.
The main purpose of this strategy is to determine trades with the highest probability of success, to keep a consistent portfolio growth throughout the year. This strategy cherry-picks the most reliable points of entry on a particular timeframe (30m) for the particular asset (BAT/USDT). The backtest shows a great result of 78.95% profitability with the maximum drawdown of -4.02%. This is one of my strategies out of the group of automated strategies that helps to grow my portfolio steadily.
You are welcome to change inputs and backtest the following strategy. Any comments or ideas would be appreciated.
If you are happy with existing results and would like to automate the strategy, which can be done through alerts, then you need to convert it to study and add alerts in the code.
Let me know if you are interested in that and I will create a study based on this strategy.
RSI-VWAPBacktest script based on the previous RSI-VWAP indicator:
It's the popular RSI indicator with VWAP as a source instead of close:
- RSI_VWAP = rsi(vwap(close), RSI_VWAP_length)
What is the Volume Weighted Average Price ( VWAP )?
VWAP is calculated by adding up the dollars traded for every transaction (price multiplied by the number of shares traded) and then dividing by the total shares traded.
Trades are laddered to improve the average entry price and each entry is increased, improving the entry but increasing the risk of being liquidated.
It can be easily converted to study (alerts)

RSI-VWAP INDICATORThis simple indicator provides great results.
It is the popular RSI indicator with VWAP as a source instead of close.
What is the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP)?
VWAP is calculated by adding up the dollars traded for every transaction (price multiplied by the number of shares traded) and then dividing by the total shares traded. That is, volume.
On the Backtest, trades are laddered to improve the average entrance price.
Trading Public School ST1This is a derivative of Trading Public School "TTM Squeeze" volatility indicator, as discussed in his book "Mastering the Trade" (chapter 11).
Black crosses on the midline show that the market just entered a squeeze ( Bollinger Bands are with in Keltner Channel). This signifies low volatility , market preparing itself for an explosive move (up or down). Gray crosses signify "Squeeze release".
Mr.Carter suggests waiting till the first gray after a black cross, and taking a position in the direction of the momentum (for ex., if momentum value is above zero, go long). Exit the position when the momentum changes (increase or decrease --- signified by a color change). My (limited) experience with this shows, an additional indicator like ADX / WaveTrend, is needed to not miss good entry points. Also, Mr.Carter uses simple momentum indicator , while I have used a different method (linreg based) to plot the histogram. 100% Profit & loss 10% Only
SMA Cross Entry & Exit StrategyThis is a TradingView Strategy Script meaning you can't execute real trades using your exchange API connected to your TradingView account, it is designed for backtesting only
This is a basic backtesting script for charting the bullish and bearish cross of two user defined simple moving averages, select the cog next to the name of the script ON the price chart in the left hand corner. The script will print to the screen either "Long Entry" or "Short Entry" depending on the direction of the cross. The script using TradingView strategies will subsequently close the opposite of the position that is executed when the bullish or bearish cross occurs. Simply put, if you are short and a bullish cross occurs, your short trade will close and be logged in strategies and the long will fire. You can pyramid the long and short positions to continue entering as long as the trend doesn't flip. You will find this in the script settings. Since this script is for backtesting you can manually set the "backtesting range" for TradingView Strategies and firing the "Long Entry" and "Short Entry". This as well, is in the settings.
Notice: When the SMA cross occurs, you have to wait till the next candle before TradingView Strategy will print the "Long Entry" or "Short Entry" to the screen

Donchian Breakout StrategyThis strategy buys when the Donchian Channel is broken to the upside and uses the lower Donchian Channel line as a trailing stop. You can also choose to use a moving average as a filter to keep you out of trades that are counter trend.
You can also configure which dates you want to backtest, so you can see how this behaves over specific time frames and market cycles.
Strategy Quadratic Semaphore I add a basic strategy for the "Quadratic traffic light" indicator, it can help to find a good configuration.
Regards.
rang3r: A support/resistance indicator with an included cloud. This indicator finds the minimum and maximum values within a set time period.
Crosses of these minimum and maximum values are noted with the green/red background colours.
The indicator also produces a "cloud", which is generated through the 0.382 and 0.612 points between the two maximum and minimum lines.
Settings:
Entry Period: Time period the indicator checks for min/max points.
Exit Period: Currently Redundant, but may be updated.
Sensitivity: Needed as a leeway for how close a value needs to be to a min/max for it to be considered a cross. I recommend keeping this at default.
Squeeze Momentum Strategy based on Indicator [LazyBear][Bitduke]I improved Squeeze Momentum Indicator by LazyBear (momentum filter, changed data source to ohlc4) and transformed it into a strategy, adding a risk management system + ability to customize time frames for backtest.
Shortly about Squeeze Momentum Indicator:
This is a derivative of John Carter's "TTM Squeeze" volatility indicator, as discussed in his book "Mastering the Trade" (chapter 11).
Backtested on XBTUSD, ETHUSD (Bitmex). As you may notice it shows good results on 1h - 4h timeframes on these timeframes among these pairs. Relatively low drawdown ~ 12% (to date).
BUY and SELL - Backtest single EMA cross By che_traderHi, I hope you're well!
At the request of my friend @jansrbtc I'm going to publish a simple emas crossing strategy.
We will do long or short at the cross of the two ema.
Good strategy for when an asset is in trend.
Warm: In choppy periods this indicator can be very affected by large drawdowns.
Enjoy!
Parabolic SAR Strategy (on close) [QuantNomad]Created a Parabolic SAR strategy where price has to close under/above the level before for it to reverse. This way it should be a bit more stable and protect you from false breakouts.
It was impossible to adjust the built-in "sar" function so I implemented PSAR from scratch. So if you're interested in how it's work inside you can check the code and probably adjust to your need if you have a custom modification of PSAR in your mind.
Ichimoku Kinko Hyo Cloud - no offset - no repaint - strategyIchimoku Kinko Hyo Cloud - no offset - no repaint - RSI filter - strategy
The indicator contains both the standard Ichimoku Cloud , as well as the one without the visual offset.
The Strategy Tester indicates good backtest results when the Ichimoku Cloud is paired with the RSI .
However, it seems it likes to work more as a standalone system.
The indicator can be easily converted to the study() mode by commenting/uncommenting a few lines,
then the alarms can be configured.
There are entry and exit signals ready to be used by the alert system.
The coloring of the cloud without offset contains all 3 conditions: Uptrend , Downtrend , Transition .
CBMA Bollinger Bands Strategy directed [ChuckBanger]I just did a Bollinger Bands script with my newly CB moving average
While I'm generally against posting strategies because it's very easy to fake performance numbers... This is just to share a cool strategy snippet. My settings are 10 contracts/order with pyramiding set to 10. You can make the profitability a lot higher if you set the order size higher. But that dosent help you getting more out of this script when u make a bot of this script. I set the order size to 10 contracts to get your attention not to showcase the performance.
When the price is going down and outside of the lower side of the band. And when the price comes back into the channel the strategy buys. Usually that means the price is going up. And when the price is going up and outside of the upper band. The strategy sells when it crosses back in to the channel.
It is a very simple strategy but it is effective. I guess you need a proper stop-loss for this script to bee really profitable in a bot environment.
BEST Trailing Stop StrategyHello traders
Here we go again.... with the second strategy snippet.
Reminder: the first snipper was a Trailing Profit strategy script
What's on the menu?
A trailing stop is designed to protect gains by enabling a trade to remain open and continue to profit as long as the price is moving in the investor's favor.
The order closes the trade if the price changes direction by a specified percentage or dollar amount.
Trigger me I'm famous
I developed many trading strategies in my career and often I've been asked to trigger a trailing-stop once a certain % move has been made.
On the screenshot below, the SL trigger is plotted in maroon.
Once the price goes past that level for the first time, I'll start trailing the trailing stop level.
In other words, when we see a price makes an interesting move in percentage value - we decide to trail the stop for at least not losing any more
All the BEST

This strategy is based only on T3 moving average, but uses sma 200 as filter for enter long or short.
The default settings considers a daily timeframe.
The strategy is very simple: long if T3 increase, short if T3 decrease.
Note that if you set volume factor to 0 you will have an exponential moving average, while if you set to 1 you'll get a DEMA.
Leverage Strategy and a few words on risk/opportunityHello traders,
I started this script as a joke for someone... finally appears it could be used for educational content
Let's talk about leverage and margin call
Margin Call
A margin call is the broker's demand that an investor deposit additional money or securities so that the account is brought up to the minimum value, known as the maintenance margin.
A margin call usually means that one or more of the securities held in the margin account has decreased in value below a certain point.
Leverage
A leverage is a system which allows the trader to open positions much larger than his own capital. ... “Leverage” usually refers to the ratio between the position value and the investment needed,
Strat
The strategy simulates long/short positions on a 4h high/low breakout based on the chart candle close.
The panel below shows the strategy equity curve. Activating the margin call option will show when the account would be margin called giving the settings
Casino
I'm not doing any financial recommendation here.
I made this strategy so that people include more risk management metrics into their strategy.
From the code, we see it's fairly easy to calculate a leveraged position size and a margin call flag - when that flag is hit, the system stops trading.
I simplified things to the extreme here but my point is that the leverage is a double-edge sword gift.
Assuming we always take the same position sizing, increasing the leverage speed up how fast a margin could be ..... called. (bad joke? feel free to tell me). Not saying it will, saying it introduces more risk by design.
Then one could say "I'll just turn off that stupid margin call option". And that's when someone starts backtesting with unrealistic market conditions.
Finally...
When I backtest I always assume the worst in every scenario possible (because I'm French), I always try to minimize the risk first (also because I'm French), keeping as close from 0 as possible (French again)
Then I add the "opportunity" component, looking to catch the maximum of opportunity while keeping the risk low.
It's like a Rubix cube puzzle - decreasing the risk is one side of the equation but whenever I try to catch more opportunity... my risks increases.
Then I update my risk... and now the opportunity decreases... (#wut #wen #simple)
Completely removing the risk from a trading strategy isn't something I wouldn't dare doing.
Trading involves risk. Being obsessed by decreasing the risk is what I do BEST :)

BLANK Strategy + TSL + Backtestrange- I often see ppl struggeling do the first own strategy
- this is an example, for a smooth start
- EDIT it to your needs ( DELET my EXAMPELS and add your INPUTS/CONDITIONS)
- i added also a Backtestrange, so you can test your Strategy in different marketphases
- also added a trailing-stop-loss
Combo Backtest 123 Reversal & DAPD This is combo strategies for get a cumulative signal.
First strategy
This System was created from the Book "How I Tripled My Money In The
Futures Market" by Ulf Jensen, Page 183. This is reverse type of strategies.
The strategy buys at market, if close price is higher than the previous close
during 2 days and the meaning of 9-days Stochastic Slow Oscillator is lower than 50.
The strategy sells at market, if close price is lower than the previous close price
during 2 days and the meaning of 9-days Stochastic Fast Oscillator is higher than 50.
Second strategy
This indicator is similar to Bollinger Bands. It based on DAPD - Daily
Average Price Delta. DAPD is based upon a summation for each of the
highs (hod) for the 21 days prior to today minus the summation for
each of the lows (lod) for the last 21 days prior to today. The result
of this calculation would then be divided by 21.
It will be buy when high above previos DAPD high and sell if low below previos DAPD low

BEST Trailing Take Profit StrategyHello traders
Hope you enjoyed your weekend on my behalf. Was staying home working ... ^^
This is my first strategy educational post I'm doing ever
While I'm generally against posting strategies because it's very easy to fake performance numbers... I cannot prevent myself from sharing a few cool strategy snippets anyway.
So from now on, I'll be sharing a few strategies also - generally not to showcase performance but only to show what pinescript can do.
As once again strategy performance can be faked is so many ways... :)
What's on the menu?
We all know what a trailing-stop is. right? right? Ok... sharing the definition here :)
A trailing stop is designed to protect gains by enabling a trade to remain open and continue to profit as long as the price is moving in the investor's favor. The order closes the trade if the price changes direction by a specified percentage or dollar amount.
But...do you know what a trailing profit is?
Short definition : Well the same but with your profit limit order.
Long definition : A trailing profit is designed to increase your gains by enabling a trade to remain open and continue to profit as long as the price is moving in the investor's favor. The order closes the trade if the price hits the trailing profit level specified percentage or dollar amount.
Some trading strategies used both a trailing stop AND trailing profit. Not making any recommendation here - only sharing what's possible in the realm of trading and pinescripting
Trigger me I'm famous
I developed many trading strategies in my career and often I've been asked to trigger a trailing-stop or trailing-profit once a certain % move has been made.
I integrated here a Take Profit trigger - once hit, it will activate the trailing profit
On the screenshot below, the TP trigger is plotted in orange. Once the price goes past that level for the first time, I'll start trailing the profit level.
In other words, when we see a price makes an interesting move in percentage value - we decide to offset the profit as we concluded that once it reached such distance - then it leads often to more profit
Of course, using only a trailing profit without stop/trailing-stop/invalidation isn't smart and the surest way to kiss goodbye a trading capital and trading and your good mood
See you tomorrow for another strategy snippet
All the BEST
Dave
SuPeR-RePaNoCHa #2TP#This is the last of the 'RePaNoCHa' script for Automatic Trading ;-) ... This time with two take profits ...
It Use 6 indicators + volume:
-JURIK MOVING AVERAGE
-RANGE FILTER
-ADX
-PARABOLIC SAR
-RSI + VOLUME WEIGHTED
-MACD
-VOLUME
To close the position you can choose between 2 Take Profit and the amount to use on each one.
You can transform it yourself into 'study' mode to get alerts.
Take Profits can be generated from the same entry, (syntax example on the script) so the fees will be lower (0.04 + 0.02 / 2 = 0.03).
