Strategy JMA(7,50,RSI) crossing RSI(14,close)Hello, i would like to submit a script dealing with Jurik Moving Average Crossing RSI . Also to avoid false positive, i made a test with long/short positions and entry/closing prices but unfortunately it's not working. I may be too noob to Pine.
If you have some ideas to refactor / improve / make this section works:
// ======= DEBUGGGGGGGG ============
long_price = 0.0
short_price = 0.0
if(startTime and endTime)
if(goLong())
long_price := close
strategy.entry("Buy", strategy.long, when = goLong())
strategy.close("Buy", when = killLong() and close > long_price)
// Shorting if using
goShort() => killLong()
killShort() => goLong()
if(startTime and endTime)
if(goShort())
short_price := close
strategy.entry("Sell", strategy.short, when = goShort() and close < short_price)
strategy.close("Sell", when = killShort())

Stochastic Rsi based trading strategyThis strategy checks if the stochastic rsi is oversold, then checks if %K and %D are less than 10. If all these conditions happens, we have a buy signal.
After this, we will receive a sell signal when the stochastic rsi crosses under.
Kozlod - RSI Strategy - 1 minuteStarted to play with very simple strategies. Trying to find ones with optimal parameters which work well for certain symbols/timeframe.
Found that basic RSI strategy without any position management with high RSI length (65 in this script) works pretty good for 1m chart for few stocks.
It's also not bad for AAPL , SPY .
It might not work very good on it's not but can give you a pretty good base for more complicated indicators.
And remember:
Past performance does not guarantee future results.
STOP-LOSS-RSI with Edge-Preserving Filter Strategy V2Modified RSI strategy with entry and exit points.
I have allowed for High and Low risk for anyone interested in using it (NO GUARANTEES. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH).
I will later consider incorporating the standard RSI for exit points. I am sure returns will increase based on current test runs :)
Returns look good based on the strategy result.

Powerfull strategy MACD+RSI+STOCH ATR stop best on Crude OilMy strategy uses a combination of three indicators MACD Stochastic RSI .
The Idea is to buy when ( MACD > Signal and RSI > 50 and Stochastic > 50) occures at the same time the BUY STop we place on previous day HIGH
and sell (short) when the opposite condition occurs we place SELL STOP on previous day LOW
We exit on Take profit or Stop loss which is calculated by ATR (10) or on the opposite signal "Volatility breakout"
This strategy works well on stocks, commodities and cryptos especially during market breaking up after consolidation
The best results are on Daily charts , so its NOT a scalping strategy. But it can work also on 1H charts.
The strategy does not have any stops and profit targets, so we can take all the market can give us at the moment.
The exit point only when MACD goes under Signal
Its Preformance is significantly better with "buy stop on High.1 and sell stop on Low.1" idea and exit on "volatility price breakout"
So, use it, trade it.

Multiple MACD RSI simple strategySimple strategy script I've had for a while but looks like I never published.
Although it is one of my most simple it seems to have the best profitability. It is pretty rough though. the Stoch RSI has only a little weight to the trade trigger. I'll refine it more over time or you can by all means. Basically the Stoch RSI current K line has to be OVER 40 to trigger a SELL. It has no effect on buy side.
The triggers are roughly as follows:
Year - since so many assets have gone 2x, 3x, 10x+ since 2013 having a strategy that earns a 500% return from 2013 to now isn't that good if buy-and-holding would have got you 800%. This eliminates some of that noise and makes it a little easier to quickly gauge success. So buy/sell trigger need a value of greater or equal to 2018 (default)
MACD 1 - First MACD (short) needs to indicate greater than 0 to buy or less than 0 to sell.
MACD 2 - Same as MACD1 but for second MACD set (long)
Uptrend - Latest close + high divided by last periods close + high needs to be grater than 1. So if latest is 34.30 close and 34.60 high and previous interval is 34.80 close and 34.82 high, that is 0.99 and will not trigger a buy trade.
Downtrend - Same thing but close + low and less than 1.
This script/strategy is pretty rough but if there is interest I'll polish it more since it is a pretty solid but simple strategy for most assets.
Noro's BB + RSI Strategy v1.0Strategy uses 2 indicators:
1) RSI
2) Bollinger Bands
Opening of a position requires at the same time 2 signals (RSI + BB)
If the low of a candle is less than lower bound of BB - to open long position
If the candle growing - to close a long position
Short positions aren't used
DPD+STOCH RSI +RSI Combination of DPD ,STOCHRSI and RSI indicators. Be careful for percantage selection to fit your candle size.
Julian's RSI 30/70A simple strategy that only enters long positions. The position will enter the long when the RSI is below 30 and will exit the long when the RSi is above 70.
14/28 Day SMA Divergence and RSI - No RepaintIf you are interested in purchasing my algorithmic trading bot that receives Tradingview indicator alerts via email and then executes them in Bittrex, please visit my product page here: ilikestocks.com Additionally, I would love to create video/blog guides on creating Tradingview scripts or strategies. If you are a knowledgeable in finance or other related fields and would like to be featured on my page, please contact me at tanner@ilikestocks.com.
No crossovers were used in this script, and this is likely the reason for the no repaint(Correct me if wrong).
This strategy script uses a 14-day SMA signal line, a 28-day SMA and RSI. The strategy works by determining whether the (14-day SMA is above the 28-day SMA and the RSI levels are overbought(below 30)) or RSI is very overbought(below 13 or so). Once either of these conditions have been met, a long position is opened.
The initial long position must be partially closed by the take profit first and then the final close is executed if the 14-day signal SMA is below the 28-day SMA; you may also exclusively use take profit to close positions.
The green plotted spikes are the initial long position conditions. The orange plotted spikes are take profit signals once a long position is opened. The red plotted spikes are plotted when the SMA 14-day is below the 28-day SMA.

Bands + RSIThis strategy uses the RSI indicator together with the Bollinger Bands to sell when the price is above the upper Bollinger Band (and to buy when this value is below the lower band). This simple strategy only triggers when both the RSI and the Bollinger Band indicators are at the same time in a overbought or oversold condition.

SPY Master v1.0This is a simple swing trading algorithm that uses a fast RSI-EMA to trigger buy/cover signals and a slow RSI-EMA to trigger sell/short signals for SPY, an xchange-traded fund for the S&P 500.
The idea behind this strategy follows the premise that most profitable momentum trades usually occur during periods when price is trending up or down. Periods of flat price actions are usually where most unprofitable trades occur. Because we cannot predict exactly when trending periods will occur, the algorithm basically bets money on all trade opportunities during all market conditions. Despite an accuracy rate of only 40%, the algorithm's asymmetric risk/reward profile allows the average winner to be 2x the average loser. The end result is a positive (profitable) net payout.
TRADING RULES:
Buy/Cover = EMA3(RSI2) cross> 50
Sell/Short = EMA5(RSI2) cross< 50
BACKTEST SETTINGS:
- Period = March 2011 - Present
- Initial capital = $10,000
- Dividends excluded
- Trading costs excluded
PERFORMANCE COMPARISON:
There are 657 trades, which means 1,314 orders. Assuming each order costs $2 (what I pay for at Interactive Brokers), total trading costs should be $2,628.
-SPY (buy & hold) = 132.73 ---> 193.22 = +45.57% (dividends excluded)
-SPY Master v1.0 = $12,649 - $2,628 = $10,021 = +100.21%

Bollinger + RSI, Double Strategy (by ChartArt) v1.1This strategy uses the RSI indicator together with the Bollinger Bands to sell when the price is above the upper Bollinger Band (and to buy when this value is below the lower band). This simple strategy only triggers when both the RSI and the Bollinger Band indicators are at the same time in a overbought or oversold condition.
UPDATE
In this updated version 1.1 the strategy was both simplified for the user (less inputs) and made more successful in backtesting by now using a 200 period for the SMA which is the basis for the Bollinger Band. I also reduced the number of color alerts to show fewer, but more relevant trading opportunities.
And just like the first version this strategy does not use close prices from higher-time frame and should not repaint after the current candle has closed. It might repaint like every Tradingview indicator while the current candle hasn't closed.
All trading involves high risk; past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
P.S. For advanced users if you want access to more functions of this strategy script, then please use version 1.0:
[SM-021] Gaussian Trend System [Optimized]This script is a comprehensive trend-following strategy centered around a Gaussian Channel. It is designed to capture significant market movements while filtering out noise during consolidation phases. This version (v2) introduces code optimizations using Pine Script v6 Arrays and a new Intraday Time Control feature.
1. Core Methodology & Math
The foundation of this strategy is the Gaussian Filter, originally conceptualized by @DonovanWall.
Gaussian Poles: Unlike standard moving averages (SMA/EMA), this filter uses "poles" (referencing signal processing logic) to reduce lag while maintaining smoothness.
Array Optimization: In this specific iteration, the f_pole function has been refactored to utilize Pine Script Arrays. This improves calculation efficiency and rendering speed compared to recursive variable calls, especially when calculating deep historical data.
Channel Logic: The strategy calculates a "Filtered True Range" to create High and Low bands around the main Gaussian line.
Long Entry: Price closes above the High Band.
Short Entry: Price closes below the Low Band.
2. Signal Filtering (Confluence)
To reduce false signals common in trend-following systems, the strategy employs a "confluence" approach using three additional layers:
Baseline Filter: A 200-period (customizable) EMA or SMA acts as a regime filter. Longs are only taken above the baseline; Shorts only below.
ADX Filter (Volatility): The Average Directional Index (ADX) is used to measure trend strength. If the ADX is below a user-defined threshold (default: 20), the market is considered "choppy," and new entries are blocked.
Momentum Check: A Stochastic RSI check ensures that momentum aligns with the breakout direction.
3. NEW: Intraday Session Filter
Per user requests, a time-based filter has been added to restrict trading activity to specific market sessions (e.g., the New York Open).
How it works: Users can toggle a checkbox to enable/disable the filter.
Configuration: You can define a specific time range (Default: 09:30 - 16:00) and a specific Timezone (Default: New York).
Logic: The strategy longCondition and shortCondition now check if the current bar's timestamp falls within this window. If outside the window, no new entries are generated, though existing trades are managed normally.
4. Risk Management
The strategy relies on volatility-based exits rather than fixed percentage stops:
ATR Stop Loss: A multiple of the Average True Range (ATR) is calculated at the moment of entry to set a dynamic Stop Loss.
ATR Take Profit: An optional Reward-to-Risk (RR) ratio can be set to place a Take Profit target relative to the Stop Loss distance.
Band Exit: If the trend reverses and price crosses the opposite band, the trade is closed immediately to prevent large drawdowns.
