How the Strategy Works:
Technical Indicators Calculation:
- RSI (Relative Strength Index) : Calculates RSI with a defined period and smooths it using an Exponential Moving Average (EMA) to obtain a more stable and reliable signal.
- ATR (Average True Range) : Calculates ATR adjusted by a rapid liquidity factor to measure the current market volatility, thereby determining the strength of the trend.
Generating Buy and Sell Signals:
- Buy Signal: A buy signal is generated when the liquidity index surpasses the short liquidity level, indicating potential accumulation and an upward trend.
- Sell Signal: A sell signal is generated when the liquidity index falls below the long liquidity level, indicating potential distribution and a downward trend.
- Operation Conditions: Signals are only generated on selected days and times, avoiding periods of low liquidity or unwanted high volatility.
Dynamic SL and TP Levels Calculation:
- Stop-Loss (SL) and Take-Profit (TP): SL and TP levels are calculated based on the entry price and a defined number of ticks, automatically adjusting to market volatility to optimize risk management.
- SL and TP Visualization: Colored boxes are drawn on the chart for a clear visual reference of SL and TP levels, facilitating trade management.
Automatic Execution and Alerts:
- Order Execution: Upon signal generation, the strategy automatically executes a market order (buy or sell).
- Discord Alerts: Detailed alerts are sent to the configured Discord channel, providing essential information for swift decision-making, including asset, signal time, entry price, current volatility (ATR), and trend direction.
Trade Management and Monitoring:
- Trade Summary: A table on the chart displays a summary of the last three trades (Today, Yesterday, Day Before Yesterday), indicating whether TP or SL was reached, allowing real-time performance evaluation.
- Automatic Trade Closure: The strategy automatically closes trades upon reaching the established SL or TP levels, ensuring efficient risk management and preventing excessive losses.
Additional Visualization:
- Candle Coloring by Trend: Candles are colored based on the current trend (bullish, bearish, or neutral), facilitating quick identification of market direction.
- Operational Range Highlighting: The chart background is colored during permitted trading hours, highlighting active periods of the strategy and enhancing trade visibility.

Liquidity Trading Algorithm (LTA)
The Liquidity Trading Algorithm is an algorithm designed to provide trade signals based on
liquidity conditions in the market. The underlying algorithm is based on the Liquidity
Dependent Price Movement (LDPM) metric and the Liquidity Dependent Price Stability (LDPS)
algorithm.
Together, LDPM and LDPS demonstrate statistically significant forecasting capabilities for price-
action on equities, cryptocurrencies, and futures. LTA takes these liquidity measurements and
translates them into actionable insights by way of entering or exiting a position based
on the future outlooks, as measured by the current liquidity status.
The benefit of LTA is that it can incorporate these powerful liquidity measurements into
actionable insights with several features designed to help you tailor LTA's behavior and
measurements to your desired vantage point. These customizable features come by the way of determining LTA's assessment style, and additional monitoring systems for avoiding bear and bull traps, along with various other quality of life features, discussed in more detail below.
First, a few quick facts:
- LTA is compatible on a wide array of instruments, including Equities, Futures, Cryptocurrencies, and Forex.
- LTA is compatible on most intervals in so long as the data can be calculated appropriately,
(be sure to do a backtest on timescales less than 1-minue to ensure the data can be computed).
- LTA only measures liquidity at the end of the interval of the chart chosen, and does not respond to conditions during the candle interval, unless specified (such as with `Stops`).
- LTA is interval-dependent, this means it will measure and behave differently on different
intervals as the underlying algorithms are dependent on the interval chosen.
- LTA can utilize fractional share sizing for cryptocurrencies.
- LTA can be restricted to either bullish or bearish indications.
- Additional Monitoring Systems are available for additional risk mitigation.
In short, LTA is a widely applicable, unique algorithm designed to translate liquidity measurements into liquidity insights.
Before getting more into the details, here is a quick list of the main features and settings
available for customization:
- Backtesting Start Date: Manual selection of the start date for the algorithm during backtesting.
- Assessment Style: adjust how LDPM and LDPS measure and respond to changes in liquidity.
- Impose Wait: force LTA to wait before entering or exiting a position to ensure conditions have remained conducive.
- Trade Direction Allowance: Restrict LTA to only long or only short, if desired.
- Position Sizing Method: determine how LTA calculates position sizing.
- Fractional Share Sizing: allow LTA to calculate fractional share sizes for cryptocurrencies
- Max Size Limit: Impose a maximum size on LTA's positions.
- Initial Capital: Indicate how much capital LTA should stat with.
- Portfolio Allotment: Indicate to LTA how much (in percentages) of the available balance should be considered when calculating position size.
- Enact Additional Monitoring Systems: Indicate if LTA should impose additional safety criteria when monitoring liquidity.
- Configure Take Profit, Stop-Loss, Trailing Stop Loss
- Display Information tables on the current position, overall strategy performance, along
with a text output showing LTA's processes.
- Real-time text output and updates on LTA's inner workings.
Let's get into some more of the details.
LTA's Assessment Style
LTA's assessment style determines how LTA collects and responds to changing data. In traditional terms, this is akin to (but not quite exactly the same as) the sensitivity versus specificity spectrum, whereby on one end (the sensitive end), an algorithm responds to changes in data in a reactive manner (which tends to lower its specificity, or how often it is correct in its indications), and on the other end, the opposite one, the algorithm foresakes quick changes for longevity of outlook.
While this is in part true, it is not a full view of the underlying mechanisms that changing the assessment style augments. A better analogy would be that the sensitive end of the spectrum (`Aggressive`) is in a state such that the algorithm wants to changing its outlooks, and as such, with changes in data, the algorithm has to be convinced as to why that is not a good idea to change outlooks, whereas the the more specific states (`Conservative`, `Diamond`) must be convinced that their view is no longer valid and that it needs to be changed.
This means the `Aggressive` and the `Diamond` settings fundamentally differ not just in their
data collection, but also in the data processing such that the `Aggressive` decision tree has to
be convinced that the data is the same (as its defualt is that it has changed),
and the `Diamond` decision tree has to be convinced that the data is not the same, and as such, the outlook need changed.
From there, the algorithm cooks through the data and determines to what the outlook should be changed to, given the current state of liquidity.
`Balanced` lies in the middle of this balance, attempting to balance being open to new ideas while not removing the wisdom of the past, as it were.
On a scale of most `sensitive` to most `specific`, it is as follows: `Aggressive`, `Balanced`,
`Conservative`, `Diamond`.
Functionally, these different modes can help in different liquidity environments, as certain
environments are more conducive to an eager approach (such as found near `Aggressive`) or are more conducive to a more conservative approach, where sudden changes in liquidity are known to be short-lived and unremarkable (such as many previously identified bull or bear traps).
For instance, on low interval views, it can often-times be beneficial to keep the algorithm towards the `Sensitive` end, since on the lower-timeframes, the crosswinds can change quite dramatically; whereas on the longer intervals, it may be useful to maintain a more `Specific` algorithm (such as found near `Diamond` mode) setting since longer intervals typically lend themselves to longer time-horizons, which themselves typically lend themselves to "weathering the storm", as it were.
LTA's Assessment Style is also supported by the Additional Monitoring Systems which works
to add sensitivity without sacrificing specificity by enacting a separate monitoring system, as described below.
Additional Monitoring Systems
The Additional Monitoring System (AMS) attempts to add more context to any changes in liquidity conditions as measured, such that LTA as a whole will have an expanded view into any rapidly changing liquidity conditions before these changes manifest in the traditional data streams. The ideal is that this allows for early exits or early entrances to positions "a head of time".
The traditional use of this system is to indicate when liquidity is suggestive of the end of a particular run (be it a bear run or a bull run), so an early exit can be initiated (and thus,
downside averted) even before the data officially showcase such changes. In such cases (when AMS becomes activated), the algorithm will signal to exit any open positions, and will restrict the opening of any new positions.
When a position is exited because of AMS, it is denoted as an `Early Exit` and if a position is prevented from being entered, the text output will display `AM prevented entry...` to indicate that conditions are not meeting AMS' additional standards.
The algorithm will wait to make any actions while `AMS` is `active` and will only enter into a new position once `AMS` has been `deactivated` and overall liquidity conditions are appropriate.
Functionally, the benefits of AMS translate to:
- Toggeling AMS on will typically see a net reduction in overall profitability, but
- AMS will typically (almost always) reduce max drawdown,
an increases in max runup, and increase return-over-maxdrawdown, and
- AMS can provide benefit for equities that experience a lot of "traps" by navigating early
entrance and early exits.
So in short, AMS is way of adding an additional level of liquidity monitoring that attempts to
exit positions if conditions look to be deteriorating, and to enter conditions if they look to be
improving. The cost of this additional monitoring, however, is a greater number of trades indicated, and a lower overall profitability.
Impose Wait
Note: `Impose Wait` will not force Take Profit, Stop Loss, or Trailing Stop Loss to
wait.
LTA can be indicated to `wait` before entering or exiting a position if desired. This means that if conditions change, whereas without a `wait` imposed, the algorithm would immediately indicate this change via a signal to alter the strategy's position, with a `wait` imposed, the algorithm will `wait` the indicated number of bars, and then re-check conditions before proceeding.
If, while waiting, conditions change to a state that is no longer compatible with the "order-in-
waiting", then the order-in-waiting is removed, and the counts reset (i.e.: conditions must remain favorable to the intended positional change throughout the wait period).
Since LTA works at the end-of-intervals, there is an inherently "built-in" wait of 1 bar when
switching directly from long to short (i.e.: if a full switch is indicated, then it is indicated as
conditions change -> exit new position -> wait until -> check conditions ->
enter new position as indicated). Thus, to impose a wait of `1 bar` would be to effectively have a total of two candles' ends prior to the entrance of the new position).
There are two main styles of `Impose Wait` that you can utilize:
- `Wait` : this mode will cause LTA to `wait` when both entering and exiting a position (in so long as it is not an exit signaled via a Take Profit, Stop Loss or Trailing Stop Loss).
- `Exit-Wait` : This mode will >not< cause LTA to `wait` if conditions require the closing of a position, but will force LTA to wait before entering into a position.
Position:
In addition to the availability to restrict LTA to either a long-only or short-only strategy, LTA
also comprises additional flexibility when deciding on how it should navigate the markets with
regards to sizing. Notably, this flexibility benefits several aspects of LTA's existence, namely the ability to determine the `Sizing Method`, or if `Fractional Share Sizing` should be employed, and more, as discussed below.
Position Sizing Method
There are two main ways LTA can determine the size of a position. Either via the `Fixed-Share` choice, or the `Fixed-Percentage` choice.
- `Fixed-Share` will use the amount indicated in the `Max Sizing Limit` field as the position size, always.
Note: With `Fixed-Share` sizing, LTA will >not< check if the balance is sufficient
prior to signaling an entrance.
- `Fixed-Percentage` will use the percentage amount indicated in the `Portfolio Allotment` field as the percentage of available funds to use when calculating the position size. Additionally, with the `Fixed-Percentage` choice, you can set the `Max Sizing Limit` if desired, which will ensure that no position will be entered greater than the amount indicated in the field.
Fractional Share Sizing
If the underlying instrument supports it (typically only cryptocurrencies), share sizing can be
fractionalized. If this is done, the resulting positin size is rounded to `4 digits`. This means any
position with a size less than `0.00005` will be rounded to `0.0000`
Note: Ensure that the underlying instrument supports fractional share sizing prior
to initiating.
Max Sizing Limit
As discussed above, the `Max Sizing Limit` will determine:
- The position size for every position, if `Sizing Method : Fixed-Share` is utilized, or
- The maximum allowed size, regardless of available capital, if `Sizing Method : Fixed-Percentage` is utilized.
Note: There is an internal maximum of 100,000 units.
Initial Capital
Note: There are 2 `Initial Capital` settings; one in LTA's settings and one in the
`Properties` tab. Ensure these two are the same when doing backtesting.
The initial capital field will be used to determine the starting balanace of the strategy, and
is used to calculate the internal data reporting (the data tables).
Portfolio Allotment
You can specify how much of the total available balance should be used when calculating the share size. The default is 100%.
Stops
Note: Stops over-ride `AMS` and `Impose Wait`, and are not restricted to only the
end-of-candle and will occur instantaneously upon their activation. Neither `AMS` nor `Impose Wait` can over-ride a signal from a `Take-Profit`, `Stop-Loss`, or a `Trailing-Stop Loss`.
LTA enhouses three stops that can be configured, a `Take-Profit`, a `Stop-Loss` and a `Trailing-Stop Loss`. The configurations can be set in the settings in percent terms. These exit signals will always over-ride AMS or any other restrictions on position exit.
Their configuration is rather standard; set the percentages you want the signal to be sent at and so it will be done.
Some quick notes on the `Trailing-Stop Loss`:
- The activation percentage must be reached (in profits) prior to the `Traililng-Stop Loss`
from activating the downside protection. For example, if the `Activation Percentage` is 10%, then unless the position reaches (at any point) a 10% profit, then it will not signal any exits on the downside, should it occur.
- The downside price-point is continuously updated and is calculated from the maximum profit reached in the given position and the loss percentage placed in the appropriate field.
Data Tables and Data Output
LTA provides real-time data output through a variety of mechanisms:
- `Position Table`
The `Position Table` displays information about the current position, including:
> Position Duration : how long the position has been open for.
> Indicates if the side is Long or Short, depending on if it is long or short.
> Entry Price: the price the position was entered at.
> Current Price (% Dif): the current price of the underlying and the %-difference between the entry price and the current price.
> Max Profit ($/%): the maximum profit reached in $ and % terms.
> Current PnL ($/%) : the current PnL for the open position.
- `Performance Table`
The `Performance Table` displays information regarding the overall performance of the algorithm since its `Start Date`. These data include:
> Initial Equity ($): The initial equity the algorithm started with.
> Current Equity ($): The current total equity of the account (including open positions)
> Net Profits ($|%) : The overall net profit in $ and % terms.
> Long / Short Trade Counts: The respective trade counts for the positions entered.
> Total Closed Trades: The running sum of the number of trades closed.
> Profitability: The calculation of the number of profitable trades over the total number of
trades.
> Avg. Profit / Trade: The calculation of the average profit per trade in both $ and % terms.
> Avg. Loss / Trade: The calculation of the average loss per trade in both $ and % terms.
> Max Run-Up: The maximum run-up the algorithm has seen in both $ and % terms.
> Max Drawdown: The maximum draw-down the algorithm has seen in both $ and % terms.
> Return-Over-Max-Drawdown: the ratio of the maximum drawdown against the current net profits.
- `Text Output`
LTA will output, if desired, signals to the text output field every time it analysis or performs and action. These messages can include information such as:
"
08:00:00 >> AM Protocol activated ... exiting position ...
08:00:00 >> Exit Order Created for qty: 2, profit: 380 (4.34%)
...
09:30:00 >> Checking conditions ...
09:30:00 >> AM protocol prevented entry ... waiting ...
"
This way, you can keep an eye out on what is happening "under the hood", as it were.
LTA will produce a message at the end of its assessment at the end of each candle interval, as well as when a position is exited due to a `Stop` or due to `AMS` being activated.
Additionally, the `Text Output` includes a initial message, but for space-constraints, this
can be toggled off with the `Blank Text Output` option within LTA's configurations.

Up Gap Strategy with DelayThis strategy, titled “Up Gap Strategy with Delay,” is based on identifying up gaps in the price action of an asset. A gap is defined as the percentage difference between the current bar’s open price and the previous bar’s close price. The strategy triggers a long position if the gap exceeds a user-defined threshold and includes a delay period before entering the position. After entering, the position is held for a set number of periods before being closed.
Key Features:
1. Gap Threshold: The strategy defines an up gap when the gap size exceeds a specified threshold (in percentage terms). The gap threshold is an input parameter that allows customization based on the user’s preference.
2. Delay Period: After the gap occurs, the strategy waits for a delay period before initiating a long position. This delay can help mitigate any short-term volatility that might occur immediately after the gap.
3. Holding Period: Once the position is entered, it is held for a user-defined number of periods (holdingPeriods). This is to capture the potential post-gap trend continuation, as gaps often indicate strong directional momentum.
4. Gap Plotting: The strategy visually plots up gaps on the chart by placing a green label beneath the bar where the gap condition is met. Additionally, the background color turns green to highlight up-gap occurrences.
5. Exit Condition: The position is exited after the defined holding period. The strategy ensures that the position is closed after this time, regardless of whether the price is in profit or loss.
Scientific Background:
The gap theory has been widely studied in financial literature and is based on the premise that gaps in price often represent areas of significant support or resistance. According to research by Kaufman (2002), gaps in price action can be indicators of future price direction, particularly when they occur after a period of consolidation or a trend reversal. Moreover, Gaps and their Implications in Technical Analysis (Murphy, 1999) highlights that gaps can reflect imbalances between supply and demand, leading to high momentum and potential price continuation or reversal.
In trading strategies, utilizing gaps with specific conditions, such as delay and holding periods, can enhance the ability to capture significant price moves. The strategy’s delay period helps avoid potential market noise immediately after the gap, while the holding period seeks to capitalize on the price continuation that often follows gap formation.
This methodology aligns with momentum-based strategies, which rely on the persistence of trends in financial markets. Several studies, including Jegadeesh & Titman (1993), have documented the existence of momentum effects in stock prices, where past price movements can be predictive of future returns.
Conclusion:
This strategy incorporates gap detection and momentum principles, supported by empirical research in technical analysis, to attempt to capitalize on price movements following significant gaps. By waiting for a delay period and holding the position for a specified time, it aims to mitigate the risk associated with early volatility while maximizing the potential for sustained price moves.
Fibonacci Levels Strategy with High/Low Criteria-AYNETThis code represents a TradingView strategy that uses Fibonacci levels in conjunction with high/low price criteria over specified lookback periods to determine buy (long) and sell (short) conditions. Below is an explanation of each main part of the code:
Explanation of Key Sections
User Inputs for Higher Time Frame and Candle Settings
Users can select a higher time frame (timeframe) for analysis and specify whether to use the "Current" or "Last" higher time frame (HTF) candle for calculating Fibonacci levels.
The currentlast setting allows flexibility between using real-time or the most recent closed higher time frame candle.
Lookback Periods for High/Low Criteria
Two lookback periods, lowestLookback and highestLookback, allow users to set the number of bars to consider when finding the lowest and highest prices, respectively.
This determines the criteria for entering trades based on how recent highs or lows compare to current prices.
Fibonacci Levels Configuration
Fibonacci levels (0%, 23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%, 78.6%, and 100%) are configurable. These are used to calculate price levels between the high and low of the higher time frame candle.
Each level represents a retracement or extension relative to the high/low range of the HTF candle, providing important price levels for decision-making.
HTF Candle Calculation
HTF candle data is calculated based on the higher time frame selected by the user, using the newbar check to reset htfhigh, htflow, and htfopen values.
The values are updated with each new HTF bar or as prices move within the same HTF bar to track the highest high and lowest low accurately.
Set Fibonacci Levels Array
Using the calculated HTF candle's high, low, and open, the Fibonacci levels are computed by interpolating these values according to the user-defined Fibonacci levels.
A fibLevels array stores these computed values.
Plotting Fibonacci Levels
Each Fibonacci level is plotted on the chart with a different color, providing visual indicators for potential support/resistance levels.
High/Low Price Criteria Calculation
The lowest and highest prices over the specified lookback periods (lowestLookback and highestLookback) are calculated and plotted on the chart. These serve as dynamic levels to trigger long or short entries.
Trade Signal Conditions
longCondition: A long (buy) signal is generated when the price crosses above both the lowest price criteria and the 50% Fibonacci level.
shortCondition: A short (sell) signal is generated when the price crosses below both the highest price criteria and the 50% Fibonacci level.
Executing Trades
Based on the longCondition and shortCondition, trades are entered with the strategy.entry() function, using the labels "Long" and "Short" for tracking on the chart.
Strategy Use
This strategy allows traders to utilize Fibonacci retracement levels and recent highs/lows to identify trend continuation or reversal points, potentially providing entry points aligned with larger market structure. Adjusting the lowestLookback and highestLookback along with Fibonacci levels enables a customizable approach to suit different trading styles and market conditions.
Negroni Opening Range StrategyStrategy Summary:
This tool can be used to help identify breakouts from a range during a time-zone of your choosing. It plots a pre-market range, an opening range, it also includes moving average levels that can be used as confluence, as well as plotting previous day SESSION highs and lows.
There are several options on how you wish to close out the trades, all described in more detail below.
Back-testing Inputs:
You define your timezone.
You define how many trades to open on any given day.
You decide to go: long only, short only, or long & short (CAREFUL: "Long & Short" can open trades that effectively closes-out existing ones, for better AND worse!)
You define between which times the strategy will open trades.
You define when it closes any open trades (preventing overnight trades, or leaving trades open into US data times!!).
This hopefully helps make back-testing reflect YOUR trading hours.
NOTE: Renko or Heikin-Ashi charts
For ALL strategies, don’t use Renko or Heikin-Ashi charts unless you know EXACTLY the implications.
Specific to my strategy, using a renko chart can make this 85-90% profitable (I wish it was!!) Although they can be useful, renko charts don’t always capture real wicks, so the renko chart may show your trade up-only but your broker (who is not using renko!!) will have likely stopped you out on a wick somewhere along the line.
NOTE: TradingView ‘Deep backtesting’
For ALL strategies, be cynical of all backtesting (e.g. repainting issues etc) as well as ‘Deep backtesting’ results.
Specific to this strategy, the default settings here SHOULD BE OK, but unfortunately at the time of writing, we can’t see on the chart what exactly ‘deep backtesting’ is calculating. In the past I have noted a number of trades that were not closed at the end of the day, despite my ‘end of day’ trade closing being enabled, so there were big winners and losers that would not have materialized otherwise. As I say, this seems ok at these settings but just always be cynical!!
Opening Range Inputs
You define a pre-market range (example: 08:00 - 09:00).
You define an opening range (example: 09:00 - 09:30).
The strategy will give an update at the close of the opening range to let you know if the opening range has broken out the pre-market range (OR Breakout), or if it has remained inside (OR Inside). The label appears at the end of the opening range NOT at the bar that ‘broke-out’.
This is just a visual cue for you, it has no bearing on what the strategy will do.
The strategy default will trade off the pre-market range, but you can untick this if you prefer to trade off the opening range.
Opening Trades:
Strategy goes long when the bar (CLOSE) crosses-over the ‘pre-market’ high (not the ‘opening range’ high); and the time is within your trading session, and you have not maxed out your number of trades for the day!
Strategy goes short when the bar (CLOSE) crosses-under the ‘pre-market’ low (not the ‘opening range low); and the time is within your trading session, and you have not maxed out your number of trades for the day!
Remember, you can untick this if you prefer to trade off the opening range instead.
NOTES:
Using momentum indicators can help (RSI and MACD): especially to trade range plays in failed breakouts, when momentum shifts… but the strategy won’t do this for you!
Using an anchored vwap at the session open can also provide nice confluence, as well as take-profit levels at the upper/lower of 3x standard deviation.
CLOSING TRADES:
You have 6 take-profit (TP) options:
1) Full TP: uses ATR Multiplier - Full TP at the ATR parameters as defined in inputs.
2) Take Partial profits: ATR Multiplier - Takes partial profits based on parameters as defined in inputs (i.e close 40% of original trade at TP1, close another 40% of original trade at TP2, then the remainder at Full TP as set in option 1.).
3) Full TP: Trailing Stop - Applies a Trailing Stop at the number of points, as defined in inputs.
4) Full TP: MA cross - Takes profit when price crosses ‘Trend MA’ as defined in inputs.
5) Scalp: Points - closes at a set number of points, as defined in inputs.
6) Full TP: PMKT Multiplier - places a SL at opposite pre-market Hi/Low (we go long at a break-out of the pre-market high, 50% would place a SL at the pre-market range mid-point; 100% would place a SL at the pre-market low)'. This takes profit at the input set in option 1).
[INVX] Post-Earnings Announcement DriftWhat does this strategy do?
This Pine Script strategy implements the Post-earnings announcement drift (PEAD) strategy, which is a financial market anomaly where a stock's price tends to drift in the direction of the firm's earnings surprise for an extended period of time.
Ref: en.wikipedia.org
An earnings announcement is an official public statement of a company's profitability for a specific time period, typically a quarter or a year. It includes various financial metrics but the most watched figure is the Earnings Per Share (EPS). Analysts estimate the EPS before the announcement, and the actual EPS is compared to this estimate to determine if there was an earnings surprise.
An earnings surprise occurs when the actual EPS is significantly different from the analysts' estimates. A positive earnings surprise indicates that the actual EPS is higher than the estimate, while a negative earnings surprise suggests the EPS is lower than anticipated.
The script takes the following inputs
" Holding periods (bar) " : This input defines the number of periods (or bars) the script will hold a position after the earnings announcement.
" Surprise threshold (%) ": This input sets the minimum percentage for an earnings surprise, which triggers the strategy to enter either a long or short position. In essence, it represents the minimum deviation between the estimated and actual Earnings Per Share (EPS) that will trigger a trade. A higher threshold may lead to fewer, potentially more significant trades, while a lower threshold might result in more frequent, possibly less impactful trades. This parameter allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the strategy to earnings surprises.
Positive earnings surprise
After the earnings announcement, the script compares the actual EPS with the estimated EPS to identify an earnings surprise. If there is a positive earnings surprise, the script will enter a long position. A long position is a bullish strategy where the investor expects the stock price to rise.
Negative earnings surprise
On the other hand, if there is a negative earnings surprise, the script will enter a short position. A short position is a bearish strategy where the investor expects the stock price to fall.
In both scenarios, the position (either long or short) is held for the number of periods specified in the "Holding periods (bar)" input. This strategy is based on the assumption that the stock price will continue to drift in the direction of the earnings surprise for the specified holding period.

Fractal Breakout Trend Following StrategyOverview
The Fractal Breakout Trend Following Strategy is a trend-following system which utilizes the Willams Fractals and Alligator to execute the long trades on the fractal's breakouts which have a high probability to be the new uptrend phase beginning. This system also uses the normalized Average True Range indicator to filter trades after a large moves, because it's more likely to see the trend continuation after a consolidation period. Strategy can execute only long trades.
Unique Features
Trend and volatility filtering system: Strategy uses Williams Alligator to filter the counter-trend fractals breakouts and normalized Average True Range to avoid the trades after large moves, when volatility is high
Configurable Trading Periods: Users can tailor the strategy to specific market windows, adapting to different market conditions.
Flexible Risk Management: Users can choose the stop-loss percent (by default = 3%) for trades, but strategy also has the dynamic stop-loss level using down fractals.
Methodology
The strategy places stop order at the last valid fractal breakout level. Validity of this fractal is defined by the Williams Alligator indicator. If at the moment of time when price breaking the last fractal price is higher than Alligator's teeth line (8 period SMA shifted 5 bars in the future) this is a valid breakout. Moreover strategy has the additional volatility filtering system using normalized ATR. It calculates the average normalized ATR for last user-defined number of bars and if this value lower than the user-defined threshold value the long trade is executed.
When trade is opened, script places the stop loss at the price higher of two levels: user defined stop-loss from the position entry price or down fractal validation level. The down fractal is valid with the rule, opposite as the up fractal validation. Price shall break to the downside the last down fractal below the Willians Alligator's teeth line.
Strategy has no fixed take profit. Exit level changes with the down fractal validation level. If price is in strong uptrend trade is going to be active until last down fractal is not valid. Strategy closes trade when price hits the down fractal validation level.
Risk Management
The strategy employs a combined approach to risk management:
It allows positions to ride the trend as long as the price continues to move favorably, aiming to capture significant price movements. It features a user-defined stop-loss parameter to mitigate risks based on individual risk tolerance. By default, this stop-loss is set to a 3% drop from the entry point, but it can be adjusted according to the trader's preferences.
Justification of Methodology
This strategy leverages Williams Fractals to open long trade when price has broken the key resistance level to the upside. This resistance level is the last up fractal and is shall be broken above the Williams Alligator's teeth line to be qualified as the valid breakout according to this strategy. The Alligator filtering increases the probability to avoid the false breakouts against the current trend.
Moreover strategy has an additional filter using Average True Range(ATR) indicator. If average value of ATR for the last user-defined number of bars is lower than user-defined threshold strategy can open the long trade according to open trade condition above. The logic here is following: we want to open trades after period of price consolidation inside the range because before and after a big move price is more likely to be in sideways, but we need a trend move to have a profit.
Another one important feature is how the exit condition is defined. On the one hand, strategy has the user-defined stop-loss (3% below the entry price by default). It's made to give users the opportunity to restrict their losses according to their risk-tolerance. On the other hand, strategy utilizes the dynamic exit level which is defined by down fractal activation. If we assume the breaking up fractal is the beginning of the uptrend, breaking down fractal can be the start of downtrend phase. We don't want to be in long trade if there is a high probability of reversal to the downside. This approach helps to not keep open trade if trend is not developing and hold it if price continues going up.

VAWSI and Trend Persistance Reversal Strategy SL/TPThis is a completely revamped version of my "RSI and ATR Trend Reversal Strategy."
What's New?
The RSI has been replaced with an original indicator of mine, the "VAWSI," as I've elected to call it.
The standard RSI measures a change in an RMA to determine the strength of a movement.
The VAWSI performs very similarly, except it uses another original indicator of mine, the VAWMA.
VAWMA stands for "Volume (and) ATR Weight Moving Average." It takes an average of the volume and ATR and uses the ratio of each bar to weigh a moving average of the source.
It has the same formula as an RSI, but uses the VAWMA instead of an RMA.
Next we have the Trend Persistence indicator, which is an index on how long a trend has been persisting for. It is another original indicator. It takes the max deviation the source has from lowest/highest of a specified length. It then takes a cumulative measure of that amount, measures the change, then creates a strength index with that amount.
The VAWSI is a measure of an emerging trend, and the Trend Persistence indicator is a measure of how long a trend has persisted.
Finally, the 3rd main indicator, is a slight variation of an ATR. Rather than taking the max of source - low or high- source and source - source , it instead takes the max of high-low and the absolute value of source - the previous source. It then takes the absolute value of the change of this, and normalizes it with the source.
Inputs
Minimum SL/TP ensures that the Stop Loss and Take Profit still exist in untrendy markets. This is the minimum Amount that will always be applied.
VAWSI Weight is a divided by 100 multiplier for the VAWSI. So value of 200 means it is multiplied by 2. Think of it like a percentage.
Trend Persistence weight and ATR Weight are applied the same. Higher the number, the more impactful on the final calculation it is.
Combination Mult is an outright multiplier to the final calculation. So a 2.0 = * 2.0
Trend Persistence Smoothing Length is the length of the weighted moving average applied to the Trend Persistence Strength index.
Length Cycle Decimal is a replacement of length for the script.
Here we used BlackCat1402's Dynamic Length Calculation, which can be found on his page. With his permission we have implemented it into this script. Big shout out to them for not only creating, but allowing us to use it here.
The Length Cycle Decimal is used to calculate the dynamic length. Because TradingView only allows series int for their built-in library, a lot of the baseline indicators we use have to be manually recreated as functions in the following section.
The Strategy
As usual, we use Heiken Ashi values for calculations.
We begin by establishing the minimum SL/TP for use later.
Next we determine the amount of bars back since the last crossup or crossdown of our threshold line.
We then perform some normalization of our multipliers. We want a larger trend or larger VAWSI amount to narrow the threshold, so we have 1 divide them. This way, a higher reading outputs a smaller number and vice versa. We do this for both Trend Persistence, and the VAWSI.
The VAWSI we also normalize, where rather than it being a 0-100 reading of trend direction and strength, we absolute it so that as long as a trend is strong, regardless of direction, it will have a higher reading. With these normalized values, we add them together and simply subtract the ATR measurement rather than having 1 divide it.
Here you can see how the different measurements add up. A lower final number suggests imminent reversal, and a higher final number suggests an untrendy or choppy market.
ATR is in orange, the Trend Persistence is blue, the VAWSI is purple, and the final amount is green.
We take this final number and depending on the current trend direction, we multiply it by either the Highest or Lowest source since the last crossup or crossdown. We then take the highest or lowest of this calculation, and have it be our Stop Loss or Take Profit. This number cannot be higher/lower than the previous source to ensure a rapid spike doesn't immediately close your position on a still continuing trend. As well, the threshold cannot be higher/ lower than the the specified Stop Loss and Take Profit
Only after the source has fully crossed these lines do we consider it a crossup or crossdown. We confirm this with a barstate.isconfirmed to prevent repainting. Next, each time there is a crossup or crossdown we enter a long or a short respectively and plot accordingly.
I have the strategy configured to "process on order close" to ensure an accurate backtesting result. You could also set this to false and add a 1 bar delay to the "if crossup" and "if crossdown" lines under strategy so that it is calculated based on the open of the next bar.
Final Notes
The amounts have been preconfigured for performance on RIOT 5 Minute timeframe. Other timeframes are viable as well. With a few changes to the parameters, this strategy has backtested well on NVDA, AAPL, TSLA, and AMD. I recommend before altering settings to try other timeframes first.
This script does not seem to perform nearly as well in typically untrendy and choppy markets such as crypto and forex. With some setting changes, I have seen okay results with crypto, but overfitting could be the cause there.
Thank you very much, and please enjoy.
Self Optimizing PSAR [Starbots]Self Optimizing Parabolic SAR Strategy (non-repainting)
Strategy constantly backtest 169 different combinations of Parabolic SAR indicator for maximum profitability and trades based on the best performing combination at that time.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
# Parabolic SAR (PSAR)
Parabolic SAR is a time and price technical analysis tool created by J. Welles Wilder and it's primarily used to identify points of potential stops and reverses. In fact, the SAR in Parabolic SAR stands for "Stop and Reverse". The indicator's calculations create a parabola which is located below price during a Bullish Trend and above Price during a Bearish Trend.
You can read more about this indicator here:
www.tradingview.com
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The logic of self - optimizing:
This script is always backtesting 169 different combinations of Parabolic SAR settings in the background and saves the net. profit gained for every single one of them, then strategy selects and use the best performing combination of settings currently available for you to trade.
It's recalculating on every bar close - if one of the parameters starts performing better than others - have a higher net profit gain (it's literally like running 169 backtests with different settings) strategy switches to that parameter and continues trading like that until one of the other indicator parameters starts performing better again and switches to that settings.
We are optimizing our strategy based on 13 different 'Increment' factors of PSAR. We keep the 'Start' factor (default 0.02) and 'Max Value' factor (default 0.2) at default for all of them.
According to creator of this indicator J. Welles Wilder, we usually want to change only 'Increment' factors of PSAR in the calculation and leave the rest at default and that's what we do, we are changing only 'Increment' input.
Inputs : (you don't need to change them at all, it's a good balance for fast and slow detection of trends on PSAR)
Start = 0.02
Max value = 0.2
Increment1 = 0.005, Increment2 = 0.01, Increment3 = 0.015
Increment4 = 0.02, Increment5 = 0.025, Increment6 = 0.03
Increment7 = 0.035, Increment8 = 0.04, Increment9 = 0.045
Increment10 = 0.05, Increment11 = 0.055, Increment12 = 0.06
Increment13 = 0.065
PSAR buy / sell conditions looks like this:
PSAR1 = start 0.02, max value 0.2, increment1 0.005
PSAR2 = start 0.02, max value 0.2, increment2 0.01
PSAR3 = start 0.02, max value 0.2, increment3 0.015
PSAR4 = start 0.02, max value 0.2, increment3 0.02
...
PSAR13 = start 0.02, max value 0.2, increment13 0.065
Backtester in the background works like this:
backtest buying PSAR1 settings with selling PSAR1 settings => save net. profit
backtest buy PSAR1 with sell PSAR2 ;
backtest buy PSAR1 with sell PSAR3 ;
backtest buy PSAR1 with sell PSAR4 ;
..........
backtest buy PSAR1 with sell PSAR13 ;
..........
backtest buy PSAR13 with sell PSAR1 ;
backtest buy PSAR13 with sell PSAR2 ;
......
backtest buy PSAR13 with sell PSAR13 ;
=>
It will backtest 16x16=169 different PSAR settings and save their profits.
Your strategy then trades based on the best performing (highest net.profit) PSAR Setting currently available. It will check the calculations and backtest them on every new bar close - it's like running 169 strategies at time, and manually selecting the best performing one.

If you wish to use it as INDICATOR - turn on 'Recalculate after every tick' in Properties tab to have this script updating constantly and use it as a normal Indicator tool for manual trading.
Strategy example is backtested on Daily chart of SHIBUSDT Binance
All settings at default. (1000 capital, 100 order size, 0.1% fee, 1 tick slippage)
Settings:
-Start = default Parabolic SAR setting is 0.02
-Max Value = default Parabolic SAR setting is 0.2
--Recommended PSAR Increment settings:
0.02 is default, higher timeframes usually performs good on the faster Increment factors 0.03-0.05+, smaller timeframes on slow Increment factors 0.005-0.02. I recommend you the most common and logical 13 different Increment factors for optimizing in the strategy as default already (from 0.005 to 0.065 - strategy will then optimize and trade based on the most profitable combination).
- Noise-Intensity Filter 🐎0.00-0.20%🐢
This will punish the tiny trades made by certain combinations and give more advantage to big average trades. It's basically like fee calculation, it will deduct 0.xx% fee from every trade when optimizing on their backtests.
You will usually want to have it around 0.05-0.10% like your fees on exchange.
-> 🐎Less than <0.10% allows strategy to be VERY SENSITIVE to market. (a lot of trades - quick buy-sell changes)
-> 🐢More than >0.10% will slow down the strategy, it will be LESS SENSITIVE to market volatility. (less trades - slowly switches the trend direction from buy to sell)
Close Trades on Neutral
After a lot of Trades, Algo starts developing self-intelligence. It can also have a neutral score. (Grey Plots). Sell when the strategy is neutral.
Other settings:
-Take Profit, Multiple Take Profit, Trailing Take Profit, Stop Loss, Trailing Stop Loss with functional alerts.
-Backtesting Range - backtest within your desired time window. Example: 'from 01 / 01 /2020 to 01 / 01 /2023'.
- Strategy is trading on the bar close without repaint. You can trade Long-Sell/Short Sell or Long-Short both directions. Alerts available, insert webhook messages in the inputs.
- Turn on Profit Calendar for better overview of how your strategy performs monthly/annualy
- Notes window : add your custom comments in here or save your webhook message text inside here for later use. I find this helpful to save texts inside.
Recommended TF : 4h, 8h, 1d (Trend Indicators are good at detecting directions of the market, but we can have a lot of noise and false movements on charts, you want to avoid that and ride the long term movements)
This script is fairly simple to use. It's self-optimizing and adjusting to the markets on the go.

Session Breakout Scalper Trading BotHi Traders !
Introduction:
I have recently been exploring the world of automated algorithmic trading (as I prefer more objective trading strategies over subjective technical analysis (TA)) and would like to share one of my automation compatible (PineConnecter compatible) scripts “Session Breakout Scalper”.
The strategy is really simple and is based on time conditional breakouts although has more ”relatively” advanced optional features such as the regime indicators (Regime Filters) that attempt to filter out noise by adding more confluence states and the ATR multiple SL that takes into account volatility to mitigate the down side risk of the trade.
What is Algorthmic Trading:
Firstly what is algorithmic trading? Algorithmic trading also known as algo-trading, is a method of using computer programs (in this case pine script) to execute trades based on predetermined rules and instructions (this trading strategy). It's like having a robot trader who follows a strict set of commands to buy and sell assets automatically, without any human intervention.
Important Note:
For Algorithmic trading the strategy will require you having an essential TV subscription at the minimum (so that you can set alerts) plus a PineConnecter subscription (scroll down to the .”How does the strategy send signals” headings to read more)
The Strategy Explained:
Is the Time input true ? (this can be changed by toggling times under the “TRADE MEDIAN TIMES” group for user inputs).
Given the above is true the strategy waits x bars after the session and then calculates the highest high (HH) to lowest low (LL) range. For this box to form, the user defined amount of bars must print after the session. The box is symmetrical meaning the HH and LL are calculated over a lookback that is equal to the sum of user defined bars before and after the session (+ 1).
The Strategy then simultaneously defines the HH as the buy level (green line) and the LL as the sell level (red line). note the strategy will set stop orders at these levels respectively.
Enter a buy if price action crosses above the HH, and then cancel the sell order type (The opposite is true for a stop order).
If the momentum based regime filters are true the strategy will check for the regime / regimes to be true, if the regime if false the strategy will exit the current trade, as the regime filter has predicted a slowing / reversal of momentum.
The image below shows the strategy executing these trading rules ( Regime filters, "Trades on chart", "Signal & Label" and "Quantity" have been omitted. "Strategy label plots" has been switched to true)
Other Strategy Rules:
If a new session (time session which is user defined) is true (blue vertical line) and the strategy is currently still in a trade it will exit that trade immediately.
It is possible to also set a range of percentage gain per day that the strategy will try to acquire, if at any point the strategy’s profit is within the percentage range then the position / trade will be exited immediately (This can be changed in the “PERCENT DAY GAIN” group for user inputs)
Stops and Targets:
The strategy has either static (fixed) or variable SL options. TP however is only static. The “STRAT TP & TP” group of user inputs is responsible for the SL and TP values (quoted in pips). Note once the ATR stop is set to true the SL values in the above group no longer have any affect on the SL as expected.
What are the Regime Filters:
The Larry Williams Large Trade Index (LWLTI): The Larry Williams Large Trade Index (LWTI) is a momentum-based technical indicator developed by iconic trader Larry Williams. It identifies potential entries and exits for trades by gauging market sentiment, particularly the buying and selling pressure from large market players. Here's a breakdown of the LWTI:
LWLTI components and their interpretation:
Oscillator: It oscillates between 0 and 100, with 50 acting as the neutral line.
Sentiment Meter: Values above 75 suggest a bearish market dominated by large selling, while readings below 25 indicate a bullish market with strong buying from large players.
Trend Confirmation: Crossing above 75 during an uptrend and below 25 during a downtrend confirms the trend's continuation.
The Andean Oscillator (AO) : The Andean Oscillator is a trend and momentum based indicator designed to measure the degree of variations within individual uptrends and downtrends in the prices.
Regime Filter States:
In trading, a regime filter is a tool used to identify the current state or "regime" of the market.
These Regime filters are integrated within the trading strategy to attempt to lower risk (equity volatility and/or draw down). The regime filters have different states for each market order type (buy and sell). When the regime filters are set to true, if these regime states fail to be true the trade is exited immediately.
For Buy Trades:
LWLTI positive momentum state: Quotient of the lagged trailing difference and the ATR > 50
AO positive momentum state: Bull line > Bear line (signal line is omitted)
For Sell Trades:
LWLTI negative momentum stat: Quotient of the lagged trailing difference and the ATR < 50
AO negative momentum state: Bull line < Bear line (signal line is omitted)
How does the Strategy Send Signals:
The strategy triggers a TV alert (you will neet to set a alert first), TV then sends a HTTP request to the automation software (PineConnecter) which receives the request and then communicates to an MT4/5 EA to automate the trading strategy.
For the strategy to send signals you must have the following
At least a TV essential subscription
This Script added to your chart
A PineConnecter account, which is paid and not free. This will provide you with the expert advisor that executes trades based on these strategies signals.
For more detailed information on the automation process I would recommend you read the PineConnecter documentation and FAQ page.

2Mars - MA / BB / SuperTrend
The 2Mars strategy is a trading approach that aims to improve trading efficiency by incorporating several simple order opening tactics. These tactics include moving average crossovers, Bollinger Bands, and SuperTrend.
Entering a Position with the 2Mars Strategy:
Moving Average Crossover: This method considers the crossing of moving averages as a signal to enter a position.
Price Crossing Bollinger Bands: If the price crosses either the upper or lower Bollinger Band, it is seen as a signal to enter a position.
Price Crossing Moving Average: If the price crosses the moving average, it is also considered a signal to enter a position.
SuperTrend and Bars confirm:
The SuperTrend indicator is used to provide additional confirmation for entering positions and setting stop loss levels. "Bars confirm" is used only for entry to positions.
Moving Average Crossover Strategy:
A moving average crossover refers to the point on a chart where there is a crossover of the signal or fast moving average, above or below the basis or slow moving average. This strategy also uses moving averages for additional orders #3.
Basis Moving Average Length: Ratio * Multiplier
Signal Moving Average Length: Multiplier
Bollinger Bands:
Bollinger Bands consist of three bands: an upper band, a lower band, and a basis moving average. However, the 2Mars strategy incorporates multiple upper and lower levels for position entry and take profit.
Basis +/- StdDev * 0.618
Basis +/- StdDev * 1.618
Basis +/- StdDev * 2.618
Additional Orders:
Additional Order #1 and #2: closing price crosses above or below the Bollinger Bands.
Additional Order #3: closing price crosses above or below the basis or signal moving average.
Take Profit:
The strategy includes three levels for taking profits, which are based on the Bollinger Bands. Additionally, a percentage of the position can be chosen to close long or short positions.
Limit Orders:
The strategy allows for entering a position using a limit order. The calculation for the limit order involves the Average True Range (ATR) for a specific period.
For long positions: Low price - ATR * Multiplier
For short positions: High price + ATR * Multiplier
Stop Loss:
To manage risk, the strategy recommends using stop loss options. The stop loss is updated with each entry order and take-profit level 3. When using the SuperTrend Confirmation, the stop loss requires confirmation of a trend change. It allows for flexible adjustment of the stop loss when the trend changes.
There are three options for setting the stop loss:
1. ATR (Average True Range):
For long positions: Low price - ATR * Long multiplier
For short positions: High price + ATR * Short multiplier
2. SuperTrend + ATR:
For long positions: SuperTrend - ATR * Long multiplier
For short positions: SuperTrend + ATR * Short multiplier
3. StdDev:
For long positions: StdDev - ATR * Long multiplier
For short positions: StdDev + ATR * Short multiplier
Flexible Stop Loss:
There is also a flexible stop loss option for the ATR and StdDev methods. It is triggered when the SuperTrend or moving average trend changes unfavorably.
For long positions: Stop-loss price + (ATR * Long multiplier) * Multiplier
For short positions: Stop-loss price - (ATR * Short multiplier) * Multiplier
How configure:
Disable SuperTrend, take profit, stop loss, additional orders and begin setting up a strategy.
Pick soucre data
Number of bars for confirm
Pick up the ratio of the base moving average and the signal moving average.
Set up a SuperTrend
Time for set up of the Bollinger Bands and the take profit
And finaly set up of stop loss and limit orders
All done!

YinYang RSI Volume Trend StrategyThere are many strategies that use RSI or Volume but very few that take advantage of how useful and important the two of them combined are. This strategy uses the Highs and Lows with Volume and RSI weighted calculations on top of them. You may be wondering how much of an impact Volume and RSI can have on the prices; the answer is a lot and we will discuss those with plenty of examples below, but first…
How does this strategy work?
It’s simple really, when the purchase source crosses above the inner low band (red) it creates a Buy or Long. This long has a Trailing Stop Loss band (the outer low band that's also red) that can be adjusted in the Settings. The Stop Loss is based on a % of the inner low band’s price and by default it is 0.1% lower than the inner band’s price. This Stop Loss is not only a stop loss but it can also act as a Purchase Available location.
You can get back into a trade after a stop loss / take profit has been hit when your Reset Purchase Availability After condition has been met. This can either be at Stop Loss, Entry or None.
It is advised to allow it to reset in case the stop loss was a fake out but the call was right. Sometimes it may trigger stop loss multiple times in a row, but you don’t lose much on stop loss and you gain lots when the call is right.
The Take Profit location is the basis line (white). Take Profit occurs when the Exit Source (close, open, high, low or other) crosses the basis line and then on a different bar the Exit Source crosses back over the basis line. For example, if it was a Long and the bar’s Exit Source closed above the basis line, and then 2 bars later its Exit Source closed below the basis line, Take Profit would occur. You can disable Take Profit in Settings, but it is very useful as many times the price will cross the Basis and then correct back rather than making it all the way to the opposing zone.
Longs:
If for instance your Long doesn’t need to Take Profit and instead reaches the top zone, it will close the position when it crosses above the inner top line (green).
Please note you can change the Exit Source too which is what source (close, open, high, low) it uses to end the trades.
The Shorts work the same way as the Long but just opposite, they start when the purchase source crosses under the inner upper band (green).
Shorts:
Shorts take profit when it crosses under the basis line and then crosses back.
Shorts will Stop loss when their outer upper band (green) is crossed with the Exit Source.
Short trades are completed and closed when its Exit Source crosses under the inner low red band.
So, now that you understand how the strategy works, let’s discuss why this strategy works and how it is profitable.
First we will discuss Volume as we deem it plays a much bigger role overall and in our strategy:
As I’m sure many of you know, Volume plays a huge factor in how much something moves, but it also plays a role in the strength of the movement. For instance, let’s look at two scenarios:
Bitcoin’s price goes up $1000 in 1 Day but the Volume was only 10 million
Bitcoin’s price goes up $200 in 1 Day but the Volume was 40 million
If you were to only look at the price, you’d say #1 was more important because the price moved x5 the amount as #2, but once you factor in the volume, you know this is not true. The reason why Volume plays such a huge role in Price movement is because it shows there is a large Limit Order battle going on. It means that both Bears and Bulls believe that price is a good time to Buy and Sell. This creates a strong Support and Resistance price point in this location. If we look at scenario #2, when there is high volume, especially if it is drastically larger than the average volume Bitcoin was displaying recently, what can we decipher from this? Well, the biggest take away is that the Bull’s won the battle, and that likely when that happens we will see bullish movement continuing to happen as most of the Bears Limit Orders have been fulfilled. Whereas with #2, when large price movement happens and Bitcoin goes up $1000 with low volume what can we deduce? The main takeaway is that Bull’s pressured the price up with Market Orders where they purchased the best available price, also what this means is there were very few people who were wanting to sell. This generally dictates that Whale Limit orders for Sells/Shorts are much higher up and theres room for movement, but it also means there is likely a whale that is ready to dump and crash it back down.
You may be wondering, what did this example have to do with YinYang RSI Volume Trend Strategy? Well the reason we’ve discussed this is because we use Volume multiple times to apply multiplications in our calculations to add large weight to the price when there is lots of volume (this is applied both positively and negatively). For instance, if the price drops a little and there is high volume, our strategy will move its bounds MUCH lower than the price actually dropped, and if there was low volume but the price dropped A LOT, our strategy will only move its bounds a little. We believe this reflects higher levels of price accuracy than just price alone based on the examples described above.
Don’t believe us?
Here is with Volume NOT factored in (VWMA = SMA and we remove our Volume Filter calculation):
Which produced -$2880 Profit
Here is with our Volume factored in:
Which produced $553,000 (55.3%)
As you can see, we wen’t from $-2800 profit with volume not factored to $553,000 with volume factored. That's quite a big difference! (Please note previous success does not predict future success we are simply displaying the $ amounts as example).
Now how about RSI and why does it matter in this strategy?
As I’m sure most of you are aware, RSI is one of the leading indicators used in trading. For this reason we figured it would only make sense to incorporate it into our calculations. We fiddled with RSI for quite awhile and sometimes what logically seems to be the right way to use it isn’t. Now, because of this, our RSI calculation is a little odd, but basically what we’re doing is we calculate the RSI, then turn it into a percentage (between 0-1) that can easily be multiplied to the price point we need. The price point we use is the difference between our high purchase zone and our low purchase zone. This allows us to see how much price movement there is between zones. We multiply our zone size with our RSI multiplication and we get the amount we will add +/- to our basis line (white line). This officially creates the NEW high and low purchase zones that we are actually using and displaying in our trades.
If you found that confusing, here are some examples to why it is an important calculation for this strategy:
Before RSI factored in:
Which produced 27.8% Profit
After RSI factored in:
Which produced 553% Profit
As you can see, the RSI makes not only the purchase zones more accurate, but it also greatly increases the profit the strategy is able to make. It also helps ensure an relatively linear profit slope so you know it is reliable with its trades.
This strategy can work on pretty much anything, but you should tweak the values a bit for each pair you are trading it with for best results.
We hope you can find some use out of this simple but effective strategy, if you have any questions, comments or concerns please let us know.
HAPPY TRADING!
Volatility Compression Breakout - LeafAlgo Pro StrategyThe Volatility Compression Breakout strategy is designed to identify periods of low volatility followed by potential breakout opportunities in the market. It aims to capture moments when the price consolidates within a narrow range, indicating a decrease in volatility, and anticipates a subsequent expansion in price movement. This strategy is based on our indicator of the same name (), but differs by offering many more options for the band/channel type and trend filters in addition to implementing the ability to use this strategy with algorithmic plug-ins (see details at the bottom).
This strategy features six types of bands/channels and five types of trend filters, for a total of 30 combinations. The six band/channel types are the Adaptive Gaussian MA channel (based on the Adaptive Gaussian MA that we previously published ()), standard Bollinger Bands, smoothed Bollinger Bands (basis is an EMA of the typical Bollinger Basis), Keltner Channels, a Quadratic Regression Channel (based on the channel that we previously published in the LeafAlgo Pro indicator ()), and Volatility-Based Mean Reversion Bands (). The five trend filters include an EMA, SMA, Weighted MA, McGinley Dynamic, and the Adaptive Gaussian MA itself.
Examples of the different band/channel types (all with EMA as the trend filter):

Smoothed Bollinger Bands:
Keltner Channels:
Quadratic Regression Channel:
Volatility-Based Mean Reversion Bands:
Examples of the different trend filters (all with Keltner Channels):

How the Long/Short Entry Signals are Calculated:
A breakout signal upwards, accompanied by a long entry, is created when the high is greater than the secondary upper band (the upper band plus a standard deviation or with a multiplier, depending on which band/channel type is selected), the latest close is above the trend filter line, and the previous close was below the trend filter line. A break downwards, accompanied by a short entry, is created when the low is below the secondary lower band, the close is below the trend filter line, and the previous close was above the trend filter line. These conditions, along with a confirmed barstate, make up the strategy entry signals.
Coloration:
When the close price is above both the middle/basis and the trend filter, the bars are colored lime green, indicating a potential bullish market sentiment. When the close price is positioned above the basis but below the trend filter, or below the basis but above the trend filter, the bars are colored yellow, signifying a neutral or indecisive market condition. Conversely, when the close price falls below both the basis and the trend filter, the bars are colored fuchsia, suggesting a potential bearish market sentiment. Additionally, the coloration of the middle/basis line and the trend filter provides further visual cues for assessing the trend. When the close price is above the basis, the line is colored lime green, indicating a bullish trend. Conversely, when the close price is below the basis, the line is colored fuchsia, highlighting a bearish trend. Similarly, the trend line is colored lime green when the close price is above it, representing a bullish trend, and fuchsia when the close price is below it, indicating a bearish trend. The fill between the primary and secondary upper bands is colored lime and the fill between the primary and secondary lower bands is colored fuchsia. These colorations can be toggled on/off in the strategy settings menu.
How Changing Parameters Can Be Beneficial:
Modifying the parameters allows you to adapt the indicator to different market conditions and trading styles. For example, with Keltner Channels, increasing the compression period can help identify broader volatility patterns and major market shifts. On the other hand, decreasing the compression period provides more precise and timely signals for short-term traders. Adjusting the compression multiplier affects the width of the Keltner Channels. Higher multipliers increase the breakout threshold, filtering out smaller price movements and providing more reliable signals during significant market shifts. Lower multipliers make the indicator more sensitive to smaller price ranges, generating more frequent but potentially less reliable signals.
Changing the type of trend filter can drastically change your results. Test out each trend filter type and determine which one will work best for your purposes. Further, the MA periods in the trend filter settings can help you align your trades with the prevailing market direction. Increasing the period smoothes out the trend, filtering out shorter-term fluctuations and focusing on more sustained moves. Decreasing the period allows for quicker responses to changes in trend, capturing shorter-term price swings.
By adjusting the parameters and incorporating additional analysis techniques, you can customize the strategy to suit your trading style and preferences. However, it is crucial to exercise caution, conduct thorough analysis, and practice proper risk management to increase the likelihood of successful trades. Remember that no strategy can guarantee profits, and continuous learning and adaptation are key to long-term trading success.
Take Profit/Stop Loss Settings:
Take profit, stop loss, and trailing percentages are also included, found at the bottom of the Input tab under “TT and TTP” as well as “Stop Loss”. The take profit and stop loss levels will be reflected as green and red lines respectively on the chart as they occur. Make sure to understand the TP/SL ratio that you desire before use, as the desired hit rate/profitability percentage will be affected accordingly. The option for adding in a trailing stop has also been included, with options to choose between an ATR-based trail or a percentage-based trail. This strategy does NOT guarantee future returns. Apply caution in trading regardless of discretionary or algorithmic. Understand the concepts of risk/reward and the intricacies of each strategy choice before utilizing them in your personal trading.
Profitview/Pineconnector Settings:
If you wish to utilize Profitview’s automation system, find the included “Profitview Settings” under the Input tab of the strategy settings menu. If not, skip this section entirely as it can be left blank. Options will be “OPEN LONG TITLE”, “OPEN SHORT TITLE”, “CLOSE LONG TITLE”, and “CLOSE SHORT TITLE”. If you wished to trade SOL, for example, you would put “SOL LONG”, “SOL SHORT”, “SOL CLOSE LONG”, and “SOL CLOSE SHORT” in these areas. Within your Profitview extension, ensure that your Alerts all match these titles. To set an alert for use with Profitview, go to the “Alerts” tab in TradingView, then create an alert. Make sure that your desired asset and timeframe are currently displayed on your screen when creating the alert. Under the “Condition” option of the alert, select the strategy, then select the expiration time. If using TradingView Premium, this can be open-ended. Otherwise, select your desired expiration time and date. This can be updated whenever desired to ensure the strategy does not expire. Under “Alert actions”, nothing necessarily needs to be selected unless so desired. Leave the “Alert name” option empty. For the “Message”, delete the generated message and replace it with {{strategy.order.alert_message}} and nothing else. If using Pineconnector, follow the same directions for setting up an alert, but use the ",buy,,risk=" syntax as noted in the tooltips.
Additional Sample Settings (for ETHUSDT-Binance 45M):
Band/Channel Type - Keltner Channels (Compression Period of 20, Multiplier of 1.8x)
Trend Filter - WMA (50 length, no offset, close as the source)
TP/SL - 3.0% TP / 2.0% SL, 0.005 trailed TP, no trailed SL
GKD-BT Solo Confirmation Super Complex Backtest [Loxx]Giga Kaleidoscope GKD-BT Solo Confirmation Super Complex Backtest is a Backtesting module included in Loxx's "Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System".
█ GKD-BT Solo Confirmation Super Complex Backtest
The Solo Confirmation Super Complex Backtest module allows users to perform backtesting on Full GKD Long and Short signals using GKD-C confirmation indicators. These signals are further refined by GKD-B Baseline and GKD-V Volatility/Volume indicators and augmented by an additional GKD-C Confirmation indicator acting as a Continuation indicator. This module serves as a comprehensive tool that falls just below a Full GKD trading system. The key difference is that the GKD-BT Solo Confirmation Super Complex utilizes a single GKD-C Confirmation indicator, while the Full GKD system employs two GKD-C Confirmation indicators. Both the Solo Confirmation Super Complex and the Full GKD systems incorporate an extra GKD-C Confirmation indicator to identify Continuation signals, which provide both longs and shorts on developing trends following an initial trend change.
This module encompasses two types of backtests: Trading and Full. The Trading backtest permits users to evaluate individual trades, whether Long or Short, one at a time. Conversely, the Full backtest allows users to analyze either Longs or Shorts separately by toggling between them in the settings, enabling the examination of results for each signal type. The Trading backtest emulates actual trading conditions, while the Full backtest assesses all signals, regardless of being Long or Short.
Additionally, this backtest module provides the option to test the core GKD-C Confirmation and GKD-C Continuation indicators with 1 to 3 take profits and 1 stop loss. The Trading backtest allows for the use of 1 to 3 take profits, while the Full backtest is limited to 1 take profit. The Trading backtest also offers the capability to apply a trailing take profit.
In terms of the percentage of trade removed at each take profit, this backtest module has the following hardcoded values:
Take profit 1: 50% of the trade is removed.
Take profit 2: 25% of the trade is removed.
Take profit 3: 25% of the trade is removed.
Stop loss: 100% of the trade is removed.
After each take profit is achieved, the stop loss level is adjusted. When take profit 1 is reached, the stop loss is moved to the entry point. Similarly, when take profit 2 is reached, the stop loss is shifted to take profit 1. The trailing take profit feature comes into play after take profit 2 or take profit 3, depending on the number of take profits selected in the settings. The trailing take profit is always activated on the final take profit when 2 or more take profits are chosen.
The backtest module also offers the capability to restrict by a specific date range, allowing for simulated forward testing based on past data. Additionally, users have the option to display or hide a trading panel that provides relevant information about the backtest, statistics, and the current trade. It is also possible to activate alerts and toggle sections of the trading panel on or off. On the chart, historical take profit and stop loss levels are represented by horizontal lines overlaid for reference.
To utilize this strategy, follow these steps:
1. GKD-B Baseline Import: Import the value "Input into NEW GKD-BT Backtest" from the GKD-B Baseline module into the GKD-BT Solo Confirmation Super Complex Backtest module setting named "Import GKD-B Baseline."
2. GKD-V Volatility/Volume Import: Import the value "Input into NEW GKD-BT Backtest" from the GKD-V Volatility/Volume module into the GKD-BT Solo Confirmation Super Complex Backtest module setting named "Import GKD-V Volatility/Volume."
3. Adjust the "Confirmation Type" in the GKD-C Confirmation Indicator to "GKD New."
4. GKD-C Confirmation Import: Import the value "Input into NEW GKD-BT Backtest" from the GKD-C Confirmation module into the GKD-BT Solo Confirmation Super Complex Backtest module setting named "Import GKD-C Confirmation."
5. Adjust the "Confirmation Type" in the GKD-C Continuation Indicator to "GKD New."
6. GKD-C Continuation Import: Import the value "Input into NEW GKD-BT Backtest" from the GKD-C Continuation module into the GKD-BT Solo Confirmation Super Complex Backtest module setting named "Import GKD-C Continuation."
The GKD system utilizes volatility-based take profits and stop losses. Each take profit and stop loss is calculated as a multiple of volatility. Users can also adjust the multiplier values in the settings.
In a future update, the option to include a GKD-E Exit indicator will be added to this module to complete a full trading strategy.

Close-to-Close
Close-to-Close volatility is a classic and widely used volatility measure, sometimes referred to as historical volatility.
Volatility is an indicator of the speed of a stock price change. A stock with high volatility is one where the price changes rapidly and with a larger amplitude. The more volatile a stock is, the riskier it is.
Close-to-close historical volatility is calculated using only a stock's closing prices. It is the simplest volatility estimator. However, in many cases, it is not precise enough. Stock prices could jump significantly during a trading session and return to the opening value at the end. That means that a considerable amount of price information is not taken into account by close-to-close volatility.
Despite its drawbacks, Close-to-Close volatility is still useful in cases where the instrument doesn't have intraday prices. For example, mutual funds calculate their net asset values daily or weekly, and thus their prices are not suitable for more sophisticated volatility estimators.
Parkinson
Parkinson volatility is a volatility measure that uses the stock’s high and low price of the day.
The main difference between regular volatility and Parkinson volatility is that the latter uses high and low prices for a day, rather than only the closing price. This is useful as close-to-close prices could show little difference while large price movements could have occurred during the day. Thus, Parkinson's volatility is considered more precise and requires less data for calculation than close-to-close volatility.
One drawback of this estimator is that it doesn't take into account price movements after the market closes. Hence, it systematically undervalues volatility. This drawback is addressed in the Garman-Klass volatility estimator.
Garman-Klass
Garman-Klass is a volatility estimator that incorporates open, low, high, and close prices of a security.
Garman-Klass volatility extends Parkinson's volatility by taking into account the opening and closing prices. As markets are most active during the opening and closing of a trading session, it makes volatility estimation more accurate.
Garman and Klass also assumed that the process of price change follows a continuous diffusion process (Geometric Brownian motion). However, this assumption has several drawbacks. The method is not robust for opening jumps in price and trend movements.
Despite its drawbacks, the Garman-Klass estimator is still more effective than the basic formula since it takes into account not only the price at the beginning and end of the time interval but also intraday price extremes.
Researchers Rogers and Satchell have proposed a more efficient method for assessing historical volatility that takes into account price trends. See Rogers-Satchell Volatility for more detail.
Rogers-Satchell
Rogers-Satchell is an estimator for measuring the volatility of securities with an average return not equal to zero.
Unlike Parkinson and Garman-Klass estimators, Rogers-Satchell incorporates a drift term (mean return not equal to zero). As a result, it provides better volatility estimation when the underlying is trending.
The main disadvantage of this method is that it does not take into account price movements between trading sessions. This leads to an underestimation of volatility since price jumps periodically occur in the market precisely at the moments between sessions.
A more comprehensive estimator that also considers the gaps between sessions was developed based on the Rogers-Satchel formula in the 2000s by Yang-Zhang. See Yang Zhang Volatility for more detail.
Yang-Zhang
Yang Zhang is a historical volatility estimator that handles both opening jumps and the drift and has a minimum estimation error.
Yang-Zhang volatility can be thought of as a combination of the overnight (close-to-open volatility) and a weighted average of the Rogers-Satchell volatility and the day’s open-to-close volatility. It is considered to be 14 times more efficient than the close-to-close estimator.
Garman-Klass-Yang-Zhang
Garman-Klass-Yang-Zhang (GKYZ) volatility estimator incorporates the returns of open, high, low, and closing prices in its calculation.
GKYZ volatility estimator takes into account overnight jumps but not the trend, i.e., it assumes that the underlying asset follows a Geometric Brownian Motion (GBM) process with zero drift. Therefore, the GKYZ volatility estimator tends to overestimate the volatility when the drift is different from zero. However, for a GBM process, this estimator is eight times more efficient than the close-to-close volatility estimator.
Exponential Weighted Moving Average
The Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA) is a quantitative or statistical measure used to model or describe a time series. The EWMA is widely used in finance, with the main applications being technical analysis and volatility modeling.
The moving average is designed such that older observations are given lower weights. The weights decrease exponentially as the data point gets older – hence the name exponentially weighted.
The only decision a user of the EWMA must make is the parameter lambda. The parameter decides how important the current observation is in the calculation of the EWMA. The higher the value of lambda, the more closely the EWMA tracks the original time series.
Standard Deviation of Log Returns
This is the simplest calculation of volatility. It's the standard deviation of ln(close/close(1)).
Pseudo GARCH(2,2)
This is calculated using a short- and long-run mean of variance multiplied by ?.
?avg(var;M) + (1 ? ?) avg(var;N) = 2?var/(M+1-(M-1)L) + 2(1-?)var/(M+1-(M-1)L)
Solving for ? can be done by minimizing the mean squared error of estimation; that is, regressing L^-1var - avg(var; N) against avg(var; M) - avg(var; N) and using the resulting beta estimate as ?.
Average True Range
The average true range (ATR) is a technical analysis indicator, introduced by market technician J. Welles Wilder Jr. in his book New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems, that measures market volatility by decomposing the entire range of an asset price for that period.
The true range indicator is taken as the greatest of the following: current high less the current low; the absolute value of the current high less the previous close; and the absolute value of the current low less the previous close. The ATR is then a moving average, generally using 14 days, of the true ranges.
True Range Double
A special case of ATR that attempts to correct for volatility skew.
Standard Deviation
Standard deviation is a statistic that measures the dispersion of a dataset relative to its mean and is calculated as the square root of the variance. The standard deviation is calculated as the square root of variance by determining each data point's deviation relative to the mean. If the data points are further from the mean, there is a higher deviation within the data set; thus, the more spread out the data, the higher the standard deviation.
Adaptive Deviation
By definition, the Standard Deviation (STD, also represented by the Greek letter sigma ? or the Latin letter s) is a measure that is used to quantify the amount of variation or dispersion of a set of data values. In technical analysis, we usually use it to measure the level of current volatility.
Standard Deviation is based on Simple Moving Average calculation for mean value. This version of standard deviation uses the properties of EMA to calculate what can be called a new type of deviation, and since it is based on EMA, we can call it EMA deviation. Additionally, Perry Kaufman's efficiency ratio is used to make it adaptive (since all EMA type calculations are nearly perfect for adapting).
The difference when compared to the standard is significant--not just because of EMA usage, but the efficiency ratio makes it a "bit more logical" in very volatile market conditions.
Median Absolute Deviation
The median absolute deviation is a measure of statistical dispersion. Moreover, the MAD is a robust statistic, being more resilient to outliers in a data set than the standard deviation. In the standard deviation, the distances from the mean are squared, so large deviations are weighted more heavily, and thus outliers can heavily influence it. In the MAD, the deviations of a small number of outliers are irrelevant.
Because the MAD is a more robust estimator of scale than the sample variance or standard deviation, it works better with distributions without a mean or variance, such as the Cauchy distribution.
Efficiency-Ratio Adaptive ATR
Average True Range (ATR) is a widely used indicator for many occasions in technical analysis. It is calculated as the RMA of the true range. This version adds a "twist": it uses Perry Kaufman's Efficiency Ratio to calculate adaptive true range.
Mean Absolute Deviation
The mean absolute deviation (MAD) is a measure of variability that indicates the average distance between observations and their mean. MAD uses the original units of the data, which simplifies interpretation. Larger values signify that the data points spread out further from the average. Conversely, lower values correspond to data points bunching closer to it. The mean absolute deviation is also known as the mean deviation and average absolute deviation.
This definition of the mean absolute deviation sounds similar to the standard deviation (SD). While both measure variability, they have different calculations. In recent years, some proponents of MAD have suggested that it replace the SD as the primary measure because it is a simpler concept that better fits real life.
Static Percent
Static Percent allows the user to insert their own constant percent that will then be used to create take profits and stoploss
█ Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System
Core components of an NNFX algorithmic trading strategy
The NNFX algorithm is built on the principles of trend, momentum, and volatility. There are six core components in the NNFX trading algorithm:
1. Volatility - price volatility; e.g., Average True Range, True Range Double, Close-to-Close, etc.
2. Baseline - a moving average to identify price trend
3. Confirmation 1 - a technical indicator used to identify trends
4. Confirmation 2 - a technical indicator used to identify trends
5. Continuation - a technical indicator used to identify trends
6. Volatility/Volume - a technical indicator used to identify volatility/volume breakouts/breakdown
7. Exit - a technical indicator used to determine when a trend is exhausted
What is Volatility in the NNFX trading system?
In the NNFX (No Nonsense Forex) trading system, ATR (Average True Range) is typically used to measure the volatility of an asset. It is used as a part of the system to help determine the appropriate stop loss and take profit levels for a trade. ATR is calculated by taking the average of the true range values over a specified period.
True range is calculated as the maximum of the following values:
-Current high minus the current low
-Absolute value of the current high minus the previous close
-Absolute value of the current low minus the previous close
ATR is a dynamic indicator that changes with changes in volatility. As volatility increases, the value of ATR increases, and as volatility decreases, the value of ATR decreases. By using ATR in NNFX system, traders can adjust their stop loss and take profit levels according to the volatility of the asset being traded. This helps to ensure that the trade is given enough room to move, while also minimizing potential losses.
Other types of volatility include True Range Double (TRD), Close-to-Close, and Garman-Klass
What is a Baseline indicator?
The baseline is essentially a moving average, and is used to determine the overall direction of the market.
The baseline in the NNFX system is used to filter out trades that are not in line with the long-term trend of the market. The baseline is plotted on the chart along with other indicators, such as the Moving Average (MA), the Relative Strength Index (RSI), and the Average True Range (ATR).
Trades are only taken when the price is in the same direction as the baseline. For example, if the baseline is sloping upwards, only long trades are taken, and if the baseline is sloping downwards, only short trades are taken. This approach helps to ensure that trades are in line with the overall trend of the market, and reduces the risk of entering trades that are likely to fail.
By using a baseline in the NNFX system, traders can have a clear reference point for determining the overall trend of the market, and can make more informed trading decisions. The baseline helps to filter out noise and false signals, and ensures that trades are taken in the direction of the long-term trend.
What is a Confirmation indicator?
Confirmation indicators are technical indicators that are used to confirm the signals generated by primary indicators. Primary indicators are the core indicators used in the NNFX system, such as the Average True Range (ATR), the Moving Average (MA), and the Relative Strength Index (RSI).
The purpose of the confirmation indicators is to reduce false signals and improve the accuracy of the trading system. They are designed to confirm the signals generated by the primary indicators by providing additional information about the strength and direction of the trend.
Some examples of confirmation indicators that may be used in the NNFX system include the Bollinger Bands, the MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence), and the MACD Oscillator. These indicators can provide information about the volatility, momentum, and trend strength of the market, and can be used to confirm the signals generated by the primary indicators.
In the NNFX system, confirmation indicators are used in combination with primary indicators and other filters to create a trading system that is robust and reliable. By using multiple indicators to confirm trading signals, the system aims to reduce the risk of false signals and improve the overall profitability of the trades.
What is a Continuation indicator?
In the NNFX (No Nonsense Forex) trading system, a continuation indicator is a technical indicator that is used to confirm a current trend and predict that the trend is likely to continue in the same direction. A continuation indicator is typically used in conjunction with other indicators in the system, such as a baseline indicator, to provide a comprehensive trading strategy.
What is a Volatility/Volume indicator?
Volume indicators, such as the On Balance Volume (OBV), the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF), or the Volume Price Trend (VPT), are used to measure the amount of buying and selling activity in a market. They are based on the trading volume of the market, and can provide information about the strength of the trend. In the NNFX system, volume indicators are used to confirm trading signals generated by the Moving Average and the Relative Strength Index. Volatility indicators include Average Direction Index, Waddah Attar, and Volatility Ratio. In the NNFX trading system, volatility is a proxy for volume and vice versa.
By using volume indicators as confirmation tools, the NNFX trading system aims to reduce the risk of false signals and improve the overall profitability of trades. These indicators can provide additional information about the market that is not captured by the primary indicators, and can help traders to make more informed trading decisions. In addition, volume indicators can be used to identify potential changes in market trends and to confirm the strength of price movements.
What is an Exit indicator?
The exit indicator is used in conjunction with other indicators in the system, such as the Moving Average (MA), the Relative Strength Index (RSI), and the Average True Range (ATR), to provide a comprehensive trading strategy.
The exit indicator in the NNFX system can be any technical indicator that is deemed effective at identifying optimal exit points. Examples of exit indicators that are commonly used include the Parabolic SAR, the Average Directional Index (ADX), and the Chandelier Exit.
The purpose of the exit indicator is to identify when a trend is likely to reverse or when the market conditions have changed, signaling the need to exit a trade. By using an exit indicator, traders can manage their risk and prevent significant losses.
In the NNFX system, the exit indicator is used in conjunction with a stop loss and a take profit order to maximize profits and minimize losses. The stop loss order is used to limit the amount of loss that can be incurred if the trade goes against the trader, while the take profit order is used to lock in profits when the trade is moving in the trader's favor.
Overall, the use of an exit indicator in the NNFX trading system is an important component of a comprehensive trading strategy. It allows traders to manage their risk effectively and improve the profitability of their trades by exiting at the right time.
How does Loxx's GKD (Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System) implement the NNFX algorithm outlined above?
Loxx's GKD v2.0 system has five types of modules (indicators/strategies). These modules are:
1. GKD-BT - Backtesting module (Volatility, Number 1 in the NNFX algorithm)
2. GKD-B - Baseline module (Baseline and Volatility/Volume, Numbers 1 and 2 in the NNFX algorithm)
3. GKD-C - Confirmation 1/2 and Continuation module (Confirmation 1/2 and Continuation, Numbers 3, 4, and 5 in the NNFX algorithm)
4. GKD-V - Volatility/Volume module (Confirmation 1/2, Number 6 in the NNFX algorithm)
5. GKD-E - Exit module (Exit, Number 7 in the NNFX algorithm)
(additional module types will added in future releases)
Each module interacts with every module by passing data to A backtest module wherein the various components of the GKD system are combined to create a trading signal.
That is, the Baseline indicator passes its data to Volatility/Volume. The Volatility/Volume indicator passes its values to the Confirmation 1 indicator. The Confirmation 1 indicator passes its values to the Confirmation 2 indicator. The Confirmation 2 indicator passes its values to the Continuation indicator. The Continuation indicator passes its values to the Exit indicator, and finally, the Exit indicator passes its values to the Backtest strategy.
This chaining of indicators requires that each module conform to Loxx's GKD protocol, therefore allowing for the testing of every possible combination of technical indicators that make up the six components of the NNFX algorithm.
What does the application of the GKD trading system look like?
Example trading system:
Backtest: Solo Confirmation Complex Backtest as shown on the chart above
Baseline: Hull Moving Average as shown on the chart above
Volatility/Volume: Hurst Exponent as shown on the chart above
Confirmation 1: Fisher Trasnform as shown on the chart above
Confirmation 2: Williams Percent Range
Continuation: Vortex as shown on the chart above
Exit: Rex Oscillator
Each GKD indicator is denoted with a module identifier of either: GKD-BT, GKD-B, GKD-C, GKD-V, or GKD-E. This allows traders to understand to which module each indicator belongs and where each indicator fits into the GKD system.

GAVAD - Selling after a Strong MovimentThis strategy search for a moment whe the market make two candles are consistently strong, and open a Sell, searching the imediactly correction, on the new candle. It`s easy to see the bars on the histogram graph. Purple Bars represent the candle variation. when on candle cross ove the Signal line the graph plot an Yellow ci, if the second bar crossover the signal a green circle is ploted and the operation start on start of the next candle.
This strategy can be used in a lot of Stocks and other graphs. many times we need a small time of graph, maybe 1 or 5 minutes because the gain shoud be planned to a midle of the second candle. You need look the stocks you will use.
Stocks > 100 dolars isnt great, markets extremly volatly not too. but, Stocks that have a consistently development are very interisting. Look to markets searching maybe 0.5% or 1%.
For this moment, I make the development of a Brasilian Real x American Dollar. In 15 Minutes.
if you use in small timeframe the results can be better.
On this time we make more than 500 trades with a small lot of contracts, without a big percent profitable, but a small profit in each operation, maybe you search more than. To present a real trading system I insert a spreed to present a correct view of the results.
Each stock, Index, or crypto there is a specific configuration?
my suggestion for new stocks
You need choice a stock and using the setup search set over than 70% gain (percent profitable), using a 1% of gain and loss between 1-2%
as the exemple (WDO)
default I prepare a Brazilian Index
6-signal (6% is variation of a candle of the last candle)
10000- multiplicator (its important to configure diferences betwen a stock and an Indice)
gain 3 (this proportion will be set looking you target, how I say, 1% can be good)
loss 8 (this proportion will be set with you bankroll management, how I say, maybe 2%, you need evaluate)
for maximize operations I use in the 1 or 5 minute graph. Timeframes more large make slowlly results,
(but not unable that you use in a 1 hour or a 1 day.)
I make this script by zero. Maybe the code doesnt so organized, but is very easy to understand. If you have any doubts . leave a comment.
I hope help you.

4️⃣ : ❓ What is Statistical/Probabilistic Trading ❓
Statistical/probabilistic trading is the only way to get a positive mathematical expectation regarding the market and consequently that is the only way to make money consistently from it.
I will present below some more details about the Quantitative THEMIS strategy, it is a real strategy, tested, validated and in real operation, 'Skin in the Game' , a consistent way to make money with statistical/probabilistic trading in a 100% automated.
I am a Technical Analyst , I used to be a Discretionary Trader , today I am 100% a Statistical Trader .
I've gotten rich and made a lot of money, and I've also lost a lot with 'leverage'.
That was a few years ago.
The book that changed everything for me was "Trading in The Zone" by Mark Douglas.
That's when I understood that the market is just a game of statistics and probability, like a casino!
It was then that I understood that the human brain is not prepared for trading, because it involves triggers and mental emotions.
And emotions in trading and in making trading decisions do not go well together, not in the long run, because you always have the burden of being wrong with the outcome of that particular position.
But remembering that the market is just a statistical game!
5️⃣ : ❓ How Statistical/Probabilistic Trading works ❓
Let's use a 'coin' as an example:
If we toss a 'coin' up 10 times.
Do you agree that it is impossible for us to know exactly the result of the 'plays' before they actually happen?
As in the example above, would you agree, that we cannot "guess" the outcome of a position before it actually happens?
As much as we cannot "guess" whether the coin will drop heads or tails on each flip.
We can analyze the "backtest" of the 10 moves made with that coin:
If we analyze the 10 moves and count the number of times the coin fell heads or tails in a specific sequence, we then have a percentage of times the coin fell heads or tails, so we have a 'backtest' of those moves.
Then on the next flip we can now assume a point or a favorable position for one side, the side with the highest probability .
In a nutshell, this is more or less how probabilistic statistical trading works.
As Statistical Traders we can never say whether such a Trader/Position we take will be a winner or a loser.
But still we can have a positive and consistent result in a "sequence" of trades, because before we even open a position, backtests have already been performed so we identify an anomaly and build a system that will have a positive statistical advantage in our favor over the market.
The advantage will not be in one trade itself, but in the "sequence" of trades as a whole!
Because our system will work like a casino, having a positive mathematical expectation relative to the players/market.
Design, develop, test models and systems that can take advantage of market anomalies, until they change.
Be the casino! - Mark Douglas
6️⃣ : ❓ Why use a Statistical/Probabilistic system ❓
In recent years I have focused and specialized in developing 100% automated trading systems, essentially for the cryptocurrency market.
I have developed many extremely robust and efficient systems, with positive mathematical expectation towards the market.
These are not complex systems per se , because here we want to avoid 'over-optimization' as much as possible.
As Da Vinci said: "Simplicity is the highest degree of sophistication".
I say this because I have tested, tried and developed hundreds of systems/strategies.
I believe I have programmed more than 10,000 unique indicators/strategies, because this is my passion and purpose in life.
I am passionate about what I do, completely!
I love statistical trading because it is the only way to get consistency in the long run!
This is why I have studied, applied, developed, and specialized in 100% automated cryptocurrency trading systems.
The reason why our systems are extremely "simple" is because, as I mentioned before, in statistical trading we want to exploit the market anomaly to the maximum, that is, this anomaly will change from time to time, usually we can exploit a trading system efficiently for about 6 to 12 months, or for a few years, that is; for fixed 'scalpers' systems.
Because at some point these anomalies will be identified , and from the moment they are identified they will be exploited and will stop being anomalies .
With the system presented here; you can even copy the indicators and input values shared here;
However; what I have to offer you is: it is me , our team , and our community !
That is, we will constantly monitor this system, for life , because our goal here is to create a unique , perpetual , profitable , and consistent system for our community.
Myself , our team and our community will keep this script periodically updated , to ensure the positive mathematical expectation of it.
So we don't mind sharing the current parameters and values , because the real value is also in the future updates that this system will receive from me and our team , guided by our culture and our community of real users !
As we are hosted on 'tradingview', all future updates for this strategy, will be implemented and updated automatically on your tradingview account.
What we want here is: to make sure you get gains from our system, because if you get gains , our ecosystem will grow as a whole in a healthy and scalable way, so we will be generating continuous mutual wealth and raising the collective consciousness .
People Need People: 3️⃣🅿
7️⃣ : ❓ Why the human brain is not prepared to do Trading ❓
Today my greatest skill is to develop statistically profitable and 100% automated strategies for 'pinescript' tradingview.
Note that I said: 'profitable' because in fact statistical trading is the only way to make money in a 'consistent' way from the market.
And consequently have a positive wealth curve every cycle, because we will be based on mathematics, not on feelings and news.
Because the human brain is not prepared to do trading.
Because trading is connected to the decision making of the cerebral cortex.
And the decision making is automatically linked to emotions, and emotions don't match with trading decision making, because in those moments, we can feel the best and also the worst sensations and emotions, and this certainly affects us and makes us commit grotesque mistakes!
That's why the human brain is not prepared to do trading.
If you want to participate in a fully automated, profitable and consistent trading system; be a Titan Pro 👽
I believe we are walking an extremely enriching path here, not only in terms of financial returns for our community, but also in terms of knowledge about probabilistic and automated statistical trading.
You will have access to an extremely robust system, which was built upon very strong concepts and foundations, and upon the world's main asset in a few years: Bitcoin .
We are the tip of the best that exists in the cryptocurrency market when it comes to probabilistic and automated statistical trading.
Result is result! Me being dressed or naked.
This is just the beginning!
But there is a way to consistently make money from the market.
Being the Casino! - Mark Douglas
8️⃣ : ❓ What is Backtest ❓
Imagine the market as a purely random system, but even in 'randomness' there are patterns.
So now imagine the market and statistical trading as follows:
Repeating the above 'coin' example, let's think of it as follows:
If we toss a coin up 10 times again.
It is impossible to know which flips will have heads or tails, correct?
But if we analyze these 10 tosses, then we will have a mathematical statistic of the past result, for example, 70 % of the tosses fell 'heads'.
That is:
7 moves fell on "heads" .
3 moves fell on "tails" .
So based on these conditions and on the generic backtest presented here, we could adopt " heads " as our system of moves, to have a statistical and probabilistic advantage in relation to the next move to be performed.
That is, if you define a system, based on backtests , that has a robust positive mathematical expectation in relation to the market you will have a profitable system.
For every move you make you will have a positive statistical advantage in your favor over the market before you even make the move.
Like a casino in relation to all its players!
The casino does not have an advantage over one specific player, but over all players, because it has a positive mathematical expectation about all the moves that night.
The casino will always have a positive statistical advantage over its players.
Note that there will always be real players who will make real, million-dollar bankrolls that night, but this condition is already built into the casino's 'strategy', which has a pre-determined positive statistical advantage of that night as a whole.
Statistical trading is the same thing, as long as you don't understand this you will keep losing money and consistently.
9️⃣ : ❓ How to build a Consistent system ❓
See most traders around the world perform trades believing that that specific position taken will make them filthy rich, because they simply believe faithfully that the position taken will be an undoubted winner, based on a trader's methodology: 'trading a trade' without analyzing the whole context, just using 'empirical' aspects in their system.
But if you think of trading, as a sequence of moves.
You see, 'a sequence' !
When we think statistically, it doesn't matter your result for this , or for the next specific trade , but the final sequence of trades as a whole.
As the market has a random system of results distribution , if your system has a positive statistical advantage in relation to the market, at the end of that sequence you'll have the biggest probability of having a winning bank.
That's how you do real trading!
And with consistency!
Trading is a long term game, but when you change the key you realize that it is a simple game to make money in a consistent way from the market, all you need is patience.
Even more when we are based on Bitcoin, which has its 'Halving' effect where, in theory, we will never lose money in 3 to 4 years intervals, due to its scarcity and the fact that Bitcoin is the 'discovery of digital scarcity' which makes it the digital gold, we believe in this thesis and we follow Satoshi's legacy.
So align Bitcoin with a probabilistic statistical trading system with a positive mathematical expectation of the market and 100% automated with the long term, and all you need is patience, and you will become rich.
In fact Bitcoin by itself is already a path, buy, wait for each halving and your wealth will be maintained.
No inflation, unlike fiat currencies.
This is a complete and extremely robust strategy, with the most current possible and 'not possible' techniques involved and applied here.
Today I am at another level in developing 100% automated 'quantitative' strategies.
I was born for this!
🔟 : ❓ What is a Quantitative Trading system ❓
In addition to having access to a revolutionary strategy you will have access to disruptive 100% multifunctional tables with the ability to perform 'backtests' for better tracking and monitoring of your system on a customized basis.
I would like to emphasize one thing, and that is that you keep this in mind.
Today my greatest skill in 'pinescript' is to build indicators, but mainly strategies, based on statistical and probabilistic trading, with a postive mathematical expectation in relation to the market, in a 100% automated way.
This with the goal of building a consistent and continuous positive equity curve through mathematics using data, converting it into statistical / probabilistic parameters and applying them to a Quantitative model.
Before becoming a Quantitative Trader , I was a Technical Analyst and a Discretionary Trader .
First as a position trader and then as a day trader.
Before becoming a Trader, I trained myself as a Technical Analyst , to masterly understand the shape and workings of the market in theory.
But everything changed when I met 'Mark Douglas' , when I got to know his works, that's when my head exploded 🤯, and I started to understand the market for good!
The market is nothing more than a 'random' system of distributing results.
See that I said: 'random' .
Do yourself a mental exercise.
Is there really such a thing as random ?
I believe not, as far as we know maybe the 'singularity'.
So thinking this way, to translate, the market is nothing more than a game of probability, statistics and pure mathematics.
Like a casino!
What happens is that most traders, whenever they take a position, take it with all the empirical certainty that such position will win or lose, and do not take into consideration the total sequence of results to understand their place in the market.
Understanding your place in the market gives you the ability to create and design systems that can exploit the present market anomaly, and thus make money statistically, consistently, and 100% automated.
Thinking of it this way, it is easy to make money from the market.
There are many ways to make money from the market, but the only consistent way I know of is through 'probabilistic and automated statistical trading'.
1️⃣1️⃣ : ❓ How to build a Quantitative Trading system ❓
There are some fundamental points that must be addressed here in order to understand what makes up a system based on statistics and probability applied to a quantitative model.
When we talk about 'discretionary' trading, it is a trading system based on human decisions after the defined 'empirical' conditions are met.
It is quite another thing to build a fully automated system without any human interference/interaction .
That said:
Building a statistically profitable system is perfectly possible, but this is a high level task , but with possible high rewards and consistent gains.
Here you will find a real "Skin In The Game" strategy.
With all due respect, but the vast majority of traders who post strategies on TradingView do not understand what they are doing.
Most of them do not understand the minimum complexity involved in the main variable for the construction of a real strategy, the mother variable: "strategy".
I say this by my own experience, because I have analyzed practically all the existing publications of TradingView + 200,000 indicators and strategies.
I breathe pinescript, I eat pinescript, I sleep pinescript, I bathe pinescript, I live TradingView.
But the main advantage for the TradingView users, is that all entry and exit orders made by this strategy can be checked and analyzed thoroughly, to validate and prove the veracity of this strategy, because this is a 100% real strategy.
Here there is a huge world of possibilities, but only one way to build a 'pinescript strategy' that will work correctly aligned to the real world with real results .
There are some fundamental points to take into consideration when building a profitable trading system:
The most important of these for me is: 'DrawDown' .
Followed by: 'Hit Rate' .
And only after that we use the parameter: 'Profit'.
See, this is because here, we are dealing with the 'imponderable' , and anything can happen in this scenario.
But there is one thing that makes us sleep peacefully at night, and that is: controlling losses .
That is, in other words: controlling the DrawDown .
The amateur is concerned with 'winning', the professional is concerned with conserving capital.
If we have the losses under control, then we can move on to the other two parameters: hit rate and profit.
See, the second most important factor in building a system is the hit rate.
I say this from my own experience.
I have worked with many systems with a 'low hit rate', but extremely profitable.
For example: systems with hit rates of 40 to 50%.
But as much as statistically and mathematically the profit is rewarding, operating systems with a low hit rate is always very stressful psychologically.
That's why there are two big reasons why when I build an automated trading system, I focus on the high hit rate of the system, they are
1 - To reduce psychological damage as much as possible .
2 - And more important , when we create a system with a 'high hit rate' , there is a huge intrinsic advantage here, that most statistic traders don't take in consideration.
That is: knowing more quickly when the system stops being functional.
The main advantage of a system with a high hit rate is: to identify when the system stops being functional and stop exploiting the market's anomaly.
Look: When we are talking about trading and random distribution of results on the market, do you agree that when we create a trading system, we are focused on exploring some anomaly of that market?
When that anomaly is verified by the market, it will stop being functional with time.
That's why trading systems, 'scalpers', especially for cryptocurrencies, need constant monitoring, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.
Because market movements change from time to time.
Because we go through different cycles from time to time, such as congestion cycles, accumulation , distribution , volatility , uptrends and downtrends .
1️⃣2️⃣ : ❓ How to Exploit Market Anomalies ❓
You see there is a very important point that must be stressed here.
As we are always trying to exploit an 'anomaly' in the market.
So the 'number' of indicators/tools that will integrate the system is of paramount importance.
But most traders do not take this into consideration.
To build a professional, robust, consistent, and profitable system, you don't need to use hundreds of indicators to build your setup.
This will actually make it harder to read when the setup stops working and needs some adjustment.
So focusing on a high hit rate is very important here, this is a fundamental principle that is widely ignored , and with a high hit rate, we can know much more accurately when the system is no longer functional much faster.
As Darwin said: "It is not the strongest or the most intelligent that wins the game of life, it is the most adapted.
So simple systems, as contradictory as it may seem, are more efficient, because they help to identify inflection points in the market much more quickly.
1️⃣3️⃣ : ❓ What Defines a Robust, Profitable and Consistent System ❓
See I have built, hundreds of thousands of indicators and 'pinescript' strategies, hundreds of thousands.
This is an extremely professional, robust and profitable system.
Based on the currency pairs: BTC /USDT
There are many ways and avenues to build a profitable trading setup/system.
And actually this is not a difficult task, taking in consideration, as the main factor here, that our trading and investment plan is for the long term, so consequently we will face scenarios with less noise.
He who is in a hurry eats raw.
As mentioned before.
Defining trends in pinescript is technically a simple task, the hardest task is to determine congestion zones with low volume and volatility, it's in these moments that many false signals are generated, and consequently is where most setups face their maximum DrawDown.
That's why this strategy was strictly and thoroughly planned, built on a very solid foundation, to avoid as much noise as possible, for a positive and consistent equity curve in each market cycle, 'Consistency' is our 'Mantra' around here.
1️⃣4️⃣ : 🔧 Fixed Technical
• Strategy: Titan Investments|Quantitative THEMIS|Pro|BINANCE:BTCUSDTP:4h
• Pair: BTC/USDTP
• Time Frame: 4 hours
• Broker: Binance (Recommended)
For a more conservative scenario, we have built the Quantitative THEMIS for the 4h time frame, with the main focus on consistency.
So we can avoid noise as much as possible!
1️⃣5️⃣ : ❌ Fixed Outputs : 🎯 TP(%) & 🛑SL(%)
In order to build a 'perpetual' system specific to BTC/USDT, it took a lot of testing, and more testing, and a lot of investment and research.
There is one initial and fundamental point that we can address to justify the incredible consistency presented here.
That fundamental point is our exit via Take Profit or Stop Loss percentage (%).
🎯 Take Profit (%)
🛑 Stop Loss (%)
See, today I have been testing some more advanced backtesting models for some cryptocurrency systems.
In which I perform 'backtest of backtest', i.e. we use a set of strategies each focused on a principle, operating individually, but they are part of something unique, i.e. we do 'backtests' of 'backtests' together.
What I mean is that we do a lot of backtesting around here.
I can assure you, that always the best output for a trading system is to set fixed output values!
In other words:
🎯 Take Profit (%)
🛑 Stop Loss (%)
This happens because statistically setting fixed exit structures in the vast majority of times, presents a superior result on the capital/equity curve, throughout history and for the vast majority of setups compared to other exit methods.
This is due to a mathematical principle of simplicity, 'avoiding more noise'.
Thus whenever the Quantitative THEMIS strategy takes a position it has a target and a defined maximum stop percentage.
1️⃣6️⃣ : ⚠️ Risk Profile
The strategy, currently has 3 risk profiles ⚠️ patterns for 'fixed percentage exits': Take Profit (%) and Stop Loss (%) .
They are: ⚠️ Rich's Profiles
✔️🆑 Conservative: 🎯 TP=2.7 % 🛑 SL=2.7 %
❌Ⓜ️ Moderate: 🎯 TP=2.8 % 🛑 SL=2.7 %
❌🅰 Aggressive: 🎯 TP=1.6 % 🛑 SL=6.9 %
You will be able to select and switch between the above options and profiles through the 'input' menu of the strategy by navigating to the "⚠️ Risk Profile" menu.
You can then select, test and apply the Risk Profile above that best suits your risk management, expectations and reality , as well as customize all the 'fixed exit' values through the TP and SL menus below.
1️⃣7️⃣ : ⭕ Moving Exits : (Indicators)
The strategy currently also has 'Moving Exits' based on indicator signals.
These are Moving Exits (Indicators)
📈 LONG : (EXIT)
🧃 (MAO) Short : true
📉 SHORT : (EXIT)
🧃 (MAO) Long: false
You can select and toggle between the above options through the 'input' menu of the strategy by navigating to the "LONG : Exit" and "SHORT : Exit" menu.
1️⃣8️⃣ : 💸 Initial Capital
By default the "Initial Capital" set for entries and backtests of this strategy is: 10000 $
You can set another value for the 'Starting Capital' through the tradingview menu under "properties" , and edit the value of the "Initial Capital" field.
This way you can set and test other 'Entry Values' for your trades, tests and backtests.
1️⃣9️⃣ : ⚙️ Entry Options
By default the 'order size' set for this strategy is 100 % of the 'initial capital' on each new trade.
You can set and test other entry options like : contracts , cash , % of equity
You should make these changes directly in the input menu of the strategy by navigating to the menu "⚙️ Properties : TradingView" below.
⚙️ Properties : (TradingView)
📊 Strategy Type: strategy.position_size != 1
📝💲 % Order Type: % of equity
📝💲 % Order Size: 100
Leverage: 1
So you can define and test other 'Entry Options' for your trades, tests and backtests.

🧻 • Note ❕ You will also need to be a "Pro User or higher on Tradingview", to be able to use the webhook feature available only for 'paid' profiles on the platform.
With the webhook feature it is possible to send the signals of this strategy to almost anywhere, in our case to centralized or decentralized brokerages, also to popular messaging services such as: Discord, Telegram or Twiter.

Hello, welcome, feel free 🌹💐
Since the stone age to the most technological age, one thing has not changed, that which continues impress human beings the most, is the other human being!
Deep down, it's all very simple or very complicated, depends on how you look at it.
I believe that everyone was born to do something very well in life.
But few are those who have, let's use the word 'luck' .
Few are those who have the 'luck' to discover this thing.
That is why few are happy and successful in their jobs and professions.
Thank God I had this 'luck' , and discovered what I was born to do well.
And I was born to program. 👨💻

For the last 4 years I have been focusing on developing, editing and creating pinescript indicators and strategies for Tradingview for people and myself.
Full-time passionate workaholic pinescript developer with over 10,000 hours of pinescript development.
• Pinescript expert ▬Tradingview.
• Specialist in Automated Trading
• Specialist in Quantitative Trading.
• Statistical/Probabilistic Trading Specialist - Mark Douglas Scholl.
• Inventor of the 'Classic Forecast' Indicators.
• Inventor of the 'Backtest Table'.
With the system presented here; you can even copy the indicators and input values shared here;
However; what I have to offer you is: it is me , our team , and our community !
• Strategy: Titan Investments|Quantitative THEMIS|Demo|BINANCE:BTCUSDTP:4h
📊 Strategy Type: strategy.position_size != 1
📝💲 % Order Type: % of equity
📝💲 % Order Size: 100
Leverage: 1
So you can define and test other 'Entry Options' for your trades, tests and backtests.
2️⃣0️⃣ : ❓ How to Automate this Strategy ❓ : 🤖 Automation : 'Third-Party Services'

I11L - Reversal Trading Ideas by Larry ConnorsThis is my own Twist on Larry Connors Simple Tradingideas.
It Combines the RSI, Averaging In and the Lowest Bars in a Single System.
The current Configuration is designed for the Daily Timeframe.
Feel free to play with the Parameters and keep in mind that Larry Intended to buy fear and sell the greed!
The Rules are the following:
---Buy---
Buy, if the lowest Bar of your Configuration has been hit (default is set to 7).
---Average Down--
Buy, if the lowest Bar of your Configuration * Your open trades has been hit AND only if the buyin is atleast 1% cheaper.
---Close---
Close, if the RSI closes above a certain level (default is set to 70).
---TP---
There is no TP
---SL---
There is no SL, so be cautions of your tail Risk!
Backtests Are BrokenThis script demonstrates a fatal flaw with Trading View backtests involving trailing stops. Trading View assumes the most optimistic case for trailing stops, always giving you the best case high/low of a bar instead of the worst or average case. Within a bar, the price could reverse against your position after the open and trigger your trailing stop for a loss before the price goes in your favor, but Trading View backtests do not consider this and instead always give you the best case returns. This allows a trivial strategy to appear as though it would perform miracles.
This strategy enters on a random bar and sets a trailing stop triggered one tick better than the current price with 0 trailing distance. Trading View then generously gives this strategy the difference between the open price and best possible wick as a profit. The only way this strategy can lose money in simulation is if the price goes straight down after entry and never retraces. It works on all symbols on all timeframes due to this systematic problem with the Trading View backtester.
Open High Low StrategyThis is a very simple, yet effective and to some extend widely followed scalping strategy to capture the underling sentiments of the counter whether it will go up or down.
What is it?
This is Open-High-Low (OLH) strategy.
As you already aware of Candlestick patterns, there is patterns called as Marubozu patterns where the sell wick or buy wick either ceases to exists (or very small). This is exactly in the same principle.
In OLH strategy: The buy signal appears when the Open Price is the Low Price. It means if you draw the candlestick, there is no bottom wick. So after the opening of the candle, the demand drives the price up to the level, some selling may or may not come and closes in green. This indicates a strong upward biasness of the underlying counter.
Similarly, a sell signal appears when the Open price is the High Price. It means there is no upper wick. So there is no buying pressure, since the opening of the candle, sellers are in force and pulls down the price to a closing.
This strategy generates the signal at the close of the candle (technically barstate.isconfirmed). Because until the bar is real-time there is no option to know the final closing or high. So you will see the bar on which it generates the buy or sell signal is actually indicates the previous bar as OLH bar.
To determine the Stop-Loss, it uses the most widely known SL calculation of:
For buy signal, it takes the low of the last 7 candles and substract the ATR (Average True Range) of 14-period.
For sell signal, it takes the high of the last 7 candles and add it to the ATR (Average True Range) of 14-period.
One can plot the SL lines as dotted green and red lines as well to see visually.
Default Risk:Reward is 1:2, Can be customizable.
What is Unique?
Of course the utter simplistic nature of this strategy is it's key point. Very easy and intuitive to understand.
There are awesome strategies in this forum that talks about the various indicators combinations and what not.
Instead of all this, in a 15m NSE:NIFTY chart, it generates a good ~ 47% profit-factor with 1:2 Risk Reward ratio. Means if you loose a trade you will loose 1% of account and if you win you will gain 2%. Means 3 trades (2 profits and 1 loss) in a trading session result 3% overall gain for the day. (Assuming you are ready with 1% draw down of your account per trade, at max).
