PPO Divergence AlertsThis is a pretty straightforward script that adds alerts to Pekipek's excellent PPO Divergence indicator and changes the visuals a bit. You can have the alerts fire on these events:
Purple Circle (bullish signal)
Orange Circle (bearish signal)
Green Dot (High Point)
Red Dot (Low Point)
I use this on daily Forex charts to get alerts when purple or orange dots show. As you can see, it catches a lot of big moves, some of which can give insane returns if you're 200x leveraged on the likes of 1Broker.com. In regards to reducing false signals, I'm getting good results with a Williams %R but would love to hear any suggestions.
Edit: Oops. Box #6 in the example should be yellow, not purple.
PPO Bull/Bear Divergence to High/Low StrategyA simple strategy that uses the PPO divergences to open trades and the highs/lows to close them. Credit to Pekipek for this PPO Divergence indicator (I changed the visuals a bit)
STRATEGY
Purple circle - bullish divergence - enter LONG
Orange circle - bearish divergence - enter SHORT
Green dot - high point - exit LONG
Red dot - low point - exit SHORT
That's it. Not very profitable, but I like Pekipek's indicator a lot so figured I'd see what a strategy was like. Would love to see any variations.

This is similiar to the Price Oscillator ( PPO) that you can find in the Technical Analysis: Built ins.
It is just added colors so you can see patterns when the lines( histogram) are crossing , maybe add some alerts when plots are crossing different levels.
I want to say that I´m no expert in this area, I just had an idea about this and wanted to see if it was possible to create an oscillator that in some way explains the power inside, so this is what i come up with.

Pekipek's PPO Divergence BETABeta divergence indicator, you can exchange the Price Percentage Oscillator (PPO) for any oscillator. You can play around with the look-back period if you want to use long term divergences.
WARNING:
Because its impossible to make the look-back period of the lowest/highest functions dynamic, the indicator can plot divergences sometimes at places where there are none, however in my experience this does not occur so much. Also it is impossible to plot isolated lines, so its hard to visually see which divergence(s) exactly is(are) being signaled. Once these features become possible I can really refine the indicator.

I felt the PPO offered here was a bit basic, so turned it more into the MACD's look and feel, except this is fully customizable through the options menu for non-coders to make it look exactly as they wish.
To use the code simply click the arrow in the upper right and click "make it mine".
