Smart Money Fibonacci OTE Engine [ChartPrime]🔶 OVERVIEW
In the world of Smart Money Concepts (SMC), finding a "cheap" or "expensive" price is not enough—you need to find the Optimal Trade Entry (OTE). The Smart Money Fibonacci OTE Engine is an automated structural analysis tool that identifies trend shifts and projects institutional retracement zones in real-time.
Unlike traditional Fibonacci tools that require manual drawing, this engine detects Break of Structure (BOS) events and automatically anchors a Fibonacci grid to the most relevant swing points. It specifically highlights the OTE zone, where institutional buying or selling typically occurs after a trend confirmation.
🔶 CORE MECHANICS: AUTOMATED ANCHORING
The engine operates on a sophisticated "Pivot and Shift" logic:
Swing Detection: The script monitors price for structural Swing Highs and Swing Lows based on your chosen pivot length.
Fibonacci Direction Shift Recognition: A direction shift is confirmed when pivot price exceeds the previous Swing Pivot High (Higher High), and a down direction shift is confirmed when price drops below the previous Swing Pivot Low (Lower Low).
Dynamic Stretching: Once a direction is established, the Fibonacci grid "breathes" with the market. If the trend continues to make new highs or lows, the grid automatically stretches to include the new extension, ensuring your retracement levels are always mathematically accurate.
🔶 THE OPTIMAL TRADE ENTRY (OTE) ZONE
The OTE zone is the primary focus of this indicator. Based on ICT (Inner Circle Trader) concepts, the OTE represents the "sweet spot" of a retracement.
The Range: By default, the zone is plotted between the 0.618 and 0.786 Fibonacci levels.
Institutional Discount/Premium: In a bullish trend, price retreating into the OTE zone is considered "buying at a discount." In a bearish trend, a rally into the OTE is "selling at a premium."
Visual Clarity: The zone is highlighted with a colored box (teal for bull, red for bear), making it easy to identify exactly where to look for price action reversal signals.
🔶 KEY VISUAL FEATURES
Structure Labels: Automatically marks HH (Higher High) and LL (Lower Low) points with Break-of-Structure (BOS) lines.
Swing Diagonal: A dotted line connects the two anchor points of the Fibonacci grid, providing a clear visual representation of the current swing's slope and magnitude.
Extended Levels: Horizontal Fibonacci lines (0.236, 0.382, 0.5, etc.) are projected across the chart, with price-sensitive labels that update every tick.
Historical Mode: Toggle "Show Previous Fibs" to see where past OTE zones were respected, helping you backtest the current asset's adherence to Fibonacci levels.
🔶 INDICATOR INPUTS
Pivot Length: Adjust this to filter between micro-structure (short length) and macro-structure (long length).
OTE Upper/Lower Levels: Fully customizable boundaries for your entry zone.
Visual Styles: Change line styles (Solid, Dashed, Dotted) and colors for the grid, labels, and structure shifts to match your chart theme.
🔶 TRADING UTILITY
High-Probability Entries: Instead of "chasing" a breakout, wait for the Smart Money Fibonacci Engine to identify the higher high or lower low, then wait for price to return to the OTE box.
Confluence Tool: Use the OTE zone in conjunction with Order Blocks or Liquidity Sweeps. When an OTE zone aligns with a previously swept EQL or EQH, the probability of a reversal increases significantly.
Objective Profit Taking: Use the 0.0 (origin) and various extension levels as objective targets for scaling out of positions.
🔶 CONCLUSION
The Smart Money Fibonacci OTE Engine removes the subjectivity from drawing Fibonacci retracements. By automating the detection of market structure and highlighting the most statistically relevant entry zones, it allows traders to focus on execution rather than chart drawing. Indicador

ATH/ATL Fibonacci Retracement - Labels, Golden Pocket & AlertsPlots Fibonacci retracement levels anchored to the all-time high and all-time low of the loaded chart history. The range updates automatically as new highs or lows print, so the levels always reflect the full extent of price action without manual redrawing.
Features:
- Auto ATH/ATL tracking — the 0% and 100% anchors update dynamically across all available history.
- Flip toggle — switch 0% between the top (all-time high) and the bottom (all-time low) to suit your bias or the direction of the move you're measuring.
- Standard Fib levels — 0%, 23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%, 78.6%, and 100%, each color-coded.
- On-chart labels — every level shows its retracement percentage alongside the exact price, placed to the right of the last bar. Adjustable offset.
- Golden pocket shading — the 61.8%–78.6% reaction zone is highlighted for quick visual reference. Toggle on/off.
- Built-in alerts — alert conditions on crosses of each major level, plus a golden-pocket entry alert, ready to wire up from the Create Alert dialog.
Notes: Levels are based on the chart's loaded history, so the all-time high/low depends on how far back your data goes and your timeframe. This is an analysis tool, not financial advice — use it alongside your own process and risk management. Indicador

Golden Pocket ReduxeGolden Pocket Reduxe
Golden Pocket Reduxe is a single overlay that combines two of the most reliable kinds of price levels — Fibonacci Golden Pocket retracement zones and Supply/Demand order blocks — and shows you where they line up. It is built to give you a clean read of where price is most likely to react, across as many timeframes as you want to see at once, without the chart turning into spaghetti.
The Golden Pocket is the area inside a swing where pullbacks most often pause or reverse. The Reduxe applies this concept across multiple timeframes and trading styles at once, and pairs it with order-block detection so you can see when a Fib pullback is also landing on a level where institutional buyers or sellers stepped in.
Why this exists
Most Golden Pocket indicators draw one set of zones based on one set of pivot rules. That works great, but you might have issues when you change timeframes, switch from stocks to futures, or want to see a 1-hour zone while you trade a 5-minute chart. This indicator was built to address all of that:
It runs up to five GP setups at once — two on the chart timeframe and three from any higher timeframes you pick — without redrawing the same zone twice.
It detects supply and demand zones the way professional order-block traders do, with filters for break of structure, volume confirmation, and zone shrinkage on retest.
It highlights confluence — places where multiple signals overlap — so you can immediately see the highest-probability levels.
It handles futures session rollovers, non-standard chart types like Heikin Ashi and Renko, and Regular Trading Hours filtering for equities, all without you having to think about it.
Golden Pocket zones
The indicator tracks pivot highs and lows on whatever timeframe you point it at and draws the Golden Pocket retracement band between each pair. Each zone stays anchored to the specific pivot pair that created it, so an unrelated swing on the opposite side of the market does not destroy a still-valid zone. Bullish GPs mark pullback support in uptrends. Bearish GPs mark rally resistance in downtrends. Both can be color-coded, labeled, or hidden independently.
When a new pivot forms in the same direction, the previous zone can either be archived as a Closed GP (kept on the chart in a different color so you can see historical levels that may still matter) or removed entirely. Closed GPs can be cleaned up automatically by max count, by price invalidation, or both.
There is also an optional Active GP invalidation rule: if price closes beyond a zone for a set number of consecutive bars, the zone is closed automatically. While the counter is running, the box border can recolor as a warning so you can see at a glance which zones are about to be invalidated.
Supply and Demand zones
When an impulsive candle breaks recent structure, the indicator draws an order block at the last opposing candle before the impulse — the precise level where the previous side lost control. This is the classic order-block construction, not a wide consolidation range.
The S/D engine includes:
Break of Structure filter — only confirm a zone when the impulse actually breaks the recent high or low, not just any large candle inside a range. Toggleable.
Shrink on retest — each time price comes back to a zone, it shrinks from the tested edge to visually represent orders being absorbed. After the configured number of retests, the zone is removed.
Cross-invalidation — opposing zones that overlap heavily are automatically removed, since they cannot both be valid.
Volume protection — high-volume zones (marked with a ★) resist invalidation from weaker opposing impulses.
Overlap deduplication — prevents the same level from being marked twice.
Persistent GPs (Day / Week / Month)
Three calendar-period boxes drawn from the live High and Low of the current calendar day, week, or month. These are different from pivot-based GPs — they update continuously as the period's range expands and reset cleanly at the start of each new period. Each period has its own enable toggle, color, fib levels, position, label, midpoint extension, and Regular Trading Hours mode. They are anchored to calendar boundaries in the symbol's timezone, which means they stay stable across futures session rollovers and behave the same way on every symbol.
Useful for higher-timeframe context that does not move as fast as pivot-based GPs, intraday targets off the day range, and weekly or monthly bias zones for swing trading.
Profiles
Instead of forcing you to manually retune pivot distance, ATR multiplier, and zone height every time you change charts, the indicator ships with preset bundles tuned for different trading styles:
Auto — picks the best profile based on the chart's timeframe.
Scalping — tighter pivots and faster zones, suited to charts under 5 minutes.
Intraday — balanced settings for session trading on 15–30 minute charts.
Swing — wider, slower zones for institutional levels on 1-hour charts and above.
Custom — full manual control over every parameter.
GP profiles and S/D profiles are independent — you can run a Scalping GP and a Swing S/D on the same chart, or any other combination.
Multi-timeframe layout
Chart GP Profile 1 / 2 — two profile slots that draw on the chart timeframe with no higher-timeframe lag. Each has its own color.
Overlay Timeframe 1 / 2 / 3 — three slots that each have their own timeframe, GP profile checkboxes (Scalping, Intraday, Swing, Custom), and S/D profile selector. If an overlay slot's timeframe matches the chart and a chart profile already covers that profile, the overlay slot suppresses just that profile to avoid drawing the same zone twice.
So a typical setup might be: chart Profile 1 set to Auto for the chart timeframe, Overlay TF1 set to 1H for medium-term context, and Overlay TF2 set to 4H for higher-timeframe bias — all running simultaneously, each with its own color, all drawn on the same chart.
Confluence detection
Automatically highlights places where two GPs overlap, or where a GP overlaps an S/D zone. Confluence boxes are drawn in their own color and labeled "GP + GP" or "GP + S/D" so you can immediately tell which kind of agreement you're looking at. These are typically the highest-probability levels on the chart.
Volume enhancement
Zones that form on above-average volume are visually boosted (more opaque) and marked with a ★ in the label. The intuition is simple: a level made by real participation is more likely to hold than one made by thin price action. The volume MA length and the opacity boost are both configurable.
MA filter
Optional trend filter that restricts which GP boxes are drawn based on a configurable Fast/Slow MA pair. You can filter by trend direction (only draw GPs that align with the trend), by price position (only draw GPs whose pivots are on the right side of the MA), or turn the filter off entirely. Each MA has its own type (SMA or EMA), length, color, and line style (Solid / Dashed / Dotted).
Use Real OHLC
Forces the indicator to use actual market prices on non-standard chart types like Heikin Ashi, Renko, and Kagi. Without this, pivots and zones would be drawn from modified candle values that don't reflect real traded levels, and your entries, exits, and alerts would all sit at the wrong prices. Keep this on unless you specifically want zones based on the chart's modified candles.
Alerts
Two alert paths, usable independently or together:
Specific conditions — pick from the dropdown: Bull GP Touch, Bear GP Touch, Day GP Touch, Week GP Touch, Month GP Touch, Demand Zone Touch, Supply Zone Touch, Confluence Zone Touch, or Any Zone Touch.
All-Events Alert Stream — set the alert condition to "Any alert() function call" and every zone touch fires a detailed message with direction, timeframe, profile, and symbol — for example "Bull 15 Intraday Golden Pocket Hit on BTCUSD". Persistent GP touches fire as "Day GP Hit", "Week GP Hit", or "Month GP Hit".
Visual customization
Bull, Bear, Day, Week, Month, and Confluence labels each toggle independently. Volume ★ markers have their own toggle. GP box borders can be Solid, Dashed, or Dotted. Active GPs have separate cosmetic offset inputs that control visual width and position without affecting any underlying calculations. An optional GP anchor dot marks the pivot bar where each zone originated. Midpoint lines can optionally be extended back to the originating pivot to make the zone's history easier to read.
How to start
Open Settings → Inputs.
Pick a Chart GP Profile (Auto is a fine default) and a color.
Optionally enable one or more Overlay Timeframe slots if you want higher-timeframe GPs on the same chart.
Leave the S/D engine on its defaults to start; tune later if you want fewer or wider zones.
Enable Persistent GPs (Day / Week / Month) for fixed bias zones that don't depend on pivots.
To set up alerts, right-click the chart → Add alert → set the Condition to this indicator → pick a specific event or choose "Any alert() function call" with the All-Events stream toggle on.

Golden Pocket Syndicate Mini (GPSM)This indicator is an overlay toolkit that combines multi-timeframe Golden Pocket-style zones (Fibonacci-derived ranges between user-defined high/low ratios), optional GP-anchored VWAPs that reset when price interacts with the matching zone, and a confluence framework with optional visuals (signals, divergences, order-block-style markers, sweeps, trails). It is intended to help traders see where higher-timeframe ranges and optional filters overlap on the chart—not to automate trading or promise outcomes.
What it does
Pulls prior completed higher-timeframe highs/lows via request.security() and derives upper/lower pocket levels from your fib inputs.
Plots pocket bands (and fills where used) for the timeframes you enable.
Optionally plots volume-weighted averages anchored to touches of the corresponding pocket.
Combines user-toggled filters into a confluence score and optional bull/bear markers; all signal logic can be turned off in settings.
How to use
Open settings, enable only the pocket timeframes and visuals you need. Adjust fib inputs, touch tolerance, and filter groups to match your process. If you use alerts, treat them as notifications only—confirm every trade in your own plan.
Important limitations
This is not financial, investment, or tax advice. Markets involve risk; past or hypothetical chart behavior does not guarantee future results.
Higher-timeframe data and request.security() behavior depend on symbol, session, and chart timeframe. Validate outputs on your instruments before relying on them.
Scripts cannot execute orders; you are responsible for compliance, sizing, and risk.
Companion
For separate 1H / 4H / 8H pocket bands (to reduce plot limits when combined with heavy scripts), use the author’s “Golden Pocket Syndicate mini” (GPSM) publication if offered.
Golden Pocket Syndicate mini (GPSM) — public description
Use this in the publication description field (English first).
GPSM is a lightweight companion overlay focused on 1-hour, 4-hour, and 8-hour Golden Pocket-style zones: two fib ratios applied to the prior completed bar’s range on each timeframe, with optional filled bands and optional GP-anchored VWAPs (off by default) that reset when price touches the matching pocket. The 1-hour band can optionally switch color using a simple prior closed 1H close vs EMA rule so you can see a regime-style split at a glance.
What it does
Uses request.security() on "60", "240", and "480" minute timeframes with the same prior-bar anchoring idea as the author’s main GPS Pro script.
Keeps the script small so it can run alongside heavier indicators without hitting Pine’s plot limits as quickly.
How to use
Add it to your chart, toggle 1H/4H/8H zones and fills, then optionally enable individual VWAPs. Match fib settings to your main workflow if you use GPS Pro on the same chart.
Important limitations
Not financial advice. No performance or profitability claims. Past chart behavior does not predict future prices.
HTF behavior varies by symbol and session (especially 8H). Confirm levels on your market.
You are solely responsible for trading decisions and risk.
Relationship to GPS Pro
GPSM does not duplicate the full confluence, SMC filters, or alerts stack from GPS Pro; it is meant as a focused HTF pocket + optional VWAP add-on. Indicador

Hash Auto Fibonacci## Overview
Hash Auto Fibonacci eliminates the most time-consuming part of Fibonacci trading — drawing the levels yourself. Drop it on any chart and it automatically detects the most recent significant swing high and swing low, then instantly draws a complete Fibonacci retracement web anchored to those pivots. No manual drawing, no subjectivity, no missed setups.
Built for active traders who use Fibonacci as a core part of their strategy, this tool is engineered to keep up with fast-moving markets through a volatility-adaptive detection engine, a highlighted Golden Pocket zone, a built-in stop-loss reference, and optional multi-timeframe confirmation.
## Key Features
**Automatic Swing Detection**
The indicator uses a pivot-based algorithm to identify swing highs and lows in real time. A pink dot marks the swing high and a green dot marks the swing low on the chart — always showing only the current active pair, never cluttering your screen with historical markers.
**Dynamic Lookback Engine**
Rather than using a fixed lookback period, Hash Auto Fibonacci automatically adjusts its sensitivity based on current market volatility. During high-volatility conditions (fast trending moves, breakouts), the lookback shortens to detect swings quickly. During low-volatility conditions (consolidation, ranging markets), it lengthens to filter out noise and identify only meaningful pivots. This is calculated using the ratio of a 50-period ATR to a 10-period ATR, scaled by a user-adjustable multiplier. You can also switch to a fixed manual lookback at any time.
**Fibonacci Retracement Levels**
The following retracement levels are drawn automatically:
- 0 (swing high anchor)
- 0.236
- 0.382
- 0.5
- 0.618
- 0.65
- 0.786
- 1.0 (swing low anchor)
Optional extension levels (1.272, 1.618, 2.618) can be enabled for targets beyond the swing low.
**The Golden Pocket Zone**
The 0.618–0.65 confluence zone is highlighted as a gradient-filled amber band directly on the chart. This region — known as the Golden Pocket — is widely regarded as the highest-probability reversal zone within any Fibonacci retracement. The zone enforces an ATR-based minimum thickness so it remains visible even on assets with small absolute price ranges.
**ATR Stop-Loss Reference**
A dashed red line is automatically drawn below the swing low (bullish setup) or above the swing high (bearish setup) at a distance of 2× ATR-10. This gives a data-driven starting point for your stop-loss placement without requiring a separate indicator.
**Multi-Timeframe Confirmation**
When the current chart's swing pivot aligns within 0.5% of a confirmed pivot on a higher timeframe (default: 4H), the entire Fibonacci web is visually upgraded — lines become bolder, a confirmation badge appears, and an alert can be triggered. MTF-confirmed webs represent structurally significant levels that multiple timeframes agree on, which historically carry more weight as support and resistance.
**Direction Detection**
The indicator automatically determines whether the current setup is bullish (retracing upward from a low) or bearish (retracing downward from a high) by comparing which pivot — the high or the low — was confirmed most recently. You can override this manually if needed.
**Info Dashboard**
A clean navy dashboard in the corner of your chart displays:
- Current swing high and swing low prices
- 0.5 and 0.618 Fibonacci levels
- Golden Pocket price range
- Suggested ATR-based stop-loss price
- Active lookback period (and whether it's dynamic or manual)
---
## How To Use
**Basic setup**
Add the indicator to any chart. It works on all timeframes and all assets — crypto, stocks, forex, futures. The Fibonacci web draws automatically. The Golden Pocket zone is the primary area to watch for price reactions.
**Reading the chart**
- Price pulling back into the Golden Pocket (0.618–0.65 zone) in a bullish setup is the classic high-probability long entry zone
- Price rejecting from the Golden Pocket in a bearish setup is a potential short entry or profit-taking zone
- The 0.5 level acts as the midpoint — a close above (bullish) or below (bearish) confirms continuation of the retracement
- The 0.786 level is deep — a sweep past this level often signals the retracement is becoming a full reversal
**Using the stop-loss line**
The dashed red SL line is a reference, not a guaranteed stop placement. Use it as a starting point and adjust to your own risk tolerance. On volatile assets, consider placing your stop slightly beyond it to avoid wicks triggering your exit prematurely.
**Multi-timeframe confirmation**
When the ◆ MTF badge appears, the swing that anchors the current web also exists on the higher timeframe. These setups tend to produce cleaner reactions at Fibonacci levels because they represent areas where both short-term and institutional timeframe participants are watching the same price zone.
**Alerts**
Five alert conditions are available:
- New swing high detected
- New swing low detected
- MTF confirmation active
- Price entering the Golden Pocket
- Price at the 0.382 level
- Price at the 0.786 level
Set these in the Alerts panel to get notified without watching the chart constantly.

Golden Pocket ZonesGolden Pocket Zones: High-Probability Reaction Zones
⚙️ Identify High-Probability Reaction Zones: The script automatically scans daily price action to plot powerful support and resistance zones based on the Golden Pocket Fibonacci retracement (50%-61.8%). These are areas where price is statistically likely to react, providing traders with a map of key market levels.
✅ Native support for Gold, Forex, Crypto, Stocks, Crude oil.
📦 Dynamic & Self-Merging Zones: The indicator identifies Golden Pockets from significant daily candles and automatically merges overlapping zones. This process consolidates multiple levels into a single, stronger, and more reliable area of interest, reducing chart noise and highlighting the most critical price boundaries.
🎯 Volatility-Adaptive Zone Height: Zone height is calculated as a percentage of the 10-day Average Daily Range (ADR10). This ensures that the zones dynamically adapt to the current market volatility. In volatile conditions, zones are wider; in calm markets, they are tighter, always remaining relevant to the instrument being traded.
💪 Strength & Age Analysis: Each zone is automatically rated for strength (4-10) based on the size of the daily candle that created it relative to the ADR10. Larger candles produce stronger zones. The age of the zone (in days) is also displayed, allowing traders to assess its relevance over time.
🔥 Proximity Heatmap: Zones are color-coded with a dynamic heatmap. The closer the current price is to a zone, the "hotter" (more orange) the color becomes. This provides an immediate visual cue to pay attention as price approaches a key reaction area.
🌍 Universal Asset Compatibility: While the logic is exceptionally powerful for Gold (XAUUSD), the indicator is designed for universal application across Futures (NQ/ES), Forex, Cryptocurrencies (BTC), and US Stocks. The ADR-based calculations ensure its principles adapt seamlessly to any market.
📌Recommended Timeframes
📦While the zones are calculated from the Daily chart, they are most effectively used for executing trades on intraday timeframes. The recommended timeframes for monitoring price action and looking for confirmation signals are:
•M30 (30-Minute)•H1 (1-Hour)•H2 (2-Hour)•H4 (4-Hour)
How to Use the Golden Pocket Zones
🕒This indicator is designed to identify high-probability areas for price reactions, not to provide direct entry signals. The core strategy is to use these zones as a map and wait for price to confirm a reaction before making a trading decision.
Identifying High-Probability Reaction Zones
✅1.Load the Indicator: Apply the "Golden Pocket Zones" indicator to your chart. With default settings, it will analyze the last 20 daily candles to generate the zones.
🎯 2.Identify Key Levels: The plotted boxes are your key areas of interest. These represent significant historical support and resistance. A zone’s strength is indicated by its rating (e.g., "S: 8"), with higher numbers indicating a more significant level.
🥇3.Watch for Price Approach: As price action on your trading timeframe (e.g., M15, H1, H4) approaches one of these daily zones, it is entering a high-probability reaction area. The zone’s color will shift from yellow to orange, signaling proximity.
⚙️4.Look for Confirmation: This is the most critical step. Do not blindly trade just because price touches a zone. Instead, wait for a clear confirmation signal on a lower timeframe. This could be:
•Candlestick Patterns: A bullish engulfing pattern, a hammer, or a doji at a support zone.
•Chart Patterns: A double bottom forming within a zone or a breakout and retest of a smaller pattern.
•Divergence: Bullish or bearish divergence on an oscillator like RSI or MACD as price interacts with the zone.
Trading Strategy & Logic
📌 Entry Logic
1.Patience is Key: Allow price to travel to a pre-identified Golden Pocket Zone. Do not chase the market.
2.Wait for Confirmation: Once price enters the zone, switch to a lower timeframe (e.g., from H4 to M15) and wait for a clear entry signal (like a bullish candlestick pattern for a long trade at a support zone).
3.Enter on Confirmation: Execute your trade once your entry criteria are met. The zone itself provides the context for the trade.
🛑 Stop Loss (SL) Placement
•For a Long Trade (at a support zone): Place your stop loss a reasonable distance below the lower boundary of the zone. The zone itself acts as a buffer.
•For a Short Trade (at a resistance zone): Place your stop loss a reasonable distance above the upper boundary of the zone.
🎯 Take Profit (TP) Strategy
•Target the Next Zone: The most logical target is the next Golden Pocket Zone in the opposite direction of your trade. If you enter a long trade from a support zone, your primary target would be the next resistance zone above.
•Partial Profits: For larger moves, you can use Fibonacci extension levels or other support/resistance structures as intermediate targets to take partial profits.
Using Default Settings
The indicator is optimized to work well out of the box for most assets.
•Lookback Days = 20: This analyzes approximately one month of daily price action, providing a relevant and recent map of the market structure.
•Zone Height (% of ADR10) = 3.0: This provides a reasonably sized zone that is large enough to absorb noise but tight enough to be precise. It is an excellent starting point for all assets.
•Min Candle Size (% of ADR10) = 60.0: This is a crucial filter. It ensures that only days with significant price movement (at least 60% of the average daily range) are used to create zones. This filters out insignificant, low-volatility days and focuses only on levels created by decisive market action.
By combining the powerful, automatically generated Golden Pocket Zones with patient observation and confirmation on lower timeframes, traders can significantly increase the probability of their trades across all major financial markets.

Metallic Retracement LevelsThere's something that's always bothered me about how traders use Fibonacci retracements. Everyone treats the golden ratio like it's the only game in town, but mathematically speaking, it's completely arbitrary. The golden ratio is just the first member of an infinite family of metallic means, and there's no particular reason why 1.618 should be special for markets when we have the silver ratio at 2.414, the bronze ratio at 3.303, and literally every other metallic mean extending to infinity. We just picked one and decided it was magical.
The metallic means are a sequence of mathematical constants that generalize the golden ratio. They're defined by the equation x² = kx + 1, where k is any positive integer. When k equals 1, you get the golden ratio. When k equals 2, you get the silver ratio. When k equals 3, you get bronze, and so on forever. Each metallic mean generates its own set of ratios through successive powers, just like how the golden ratio gives you 0.618, 0.382, 0.236 and so forth. The silver ratio produces a completely different set of retracement levels, as does bronze, as does any arbitrary metallic number you want to choose.
This indicator calculates these metallic means using the standard alpha and beta formulas. For any metallic number k, alpha equals (k + sqrt(k² + 4)) / 2, and we generate retracement ratios by raising alpha to various negative powers. The script algorithmically generates these levels instead of hardcoding them, which is how it should have been done from the start. It's genuinely silly that most fib tools just hardcode the ratios when the math to generate them is straightforward. Even worse, traditional fib retracements use 0.5 as a level, which isn't even a fibonacci ratio. It's just thrown in there because it seems like it should be important.
The indicator works by first detecting swing points using the Sylvain Zig-Zag . The zig-zag identifies significant price swings by combining percentage change with ATR adjustments, filtering out noise and connecting major pivot points. This is what drives the retracement levels. Once a new swing is confirmed, the script calculates the range between the last two pivot points and generates metallic retracement levels from the most recent swing low or high.
You can adjust which metallic number to use (golden, silver, bronze, or any positive integer), control how many power ratios to display above and below the 1.0 level, and set how many complete retracement cycles you want drawn. The levels extend from the swing point and show you where price might react based on whichever metallic mean you've selected. The zig-zag settings let you tune the sensitivity of swing detection through ATR period, ATR multiplier, percentage reversal, and additional absolute or tick-based reversal values.
What this really demonstrates is that retracement analysis is more flexible than most traders realize. There's no mathematical law that says markets must respect the golden ratio over any other metallic mean. They're all valid mathematical constructs with the same kind of recursive properties. By making this tool, I wanted to highlight that using fibonacci retracements involves an arbitrary choice, and maybe that choice should be more deliberate or at least tested against alternatives. You can experiment with different metallic numbers and see which ones seem to work better for your particular market or timeframe, or just use this to understand that the standard fib levels everyone uses aren't as fundamental as they appear. Golden Cross and Death Cross with ProbabilityThe Advanced Golden and Death Crossover Indicator offers traders a powerful tool for identifying potential buy and sell signals through the classic technical analysis method of moving average crossovers. This script enhances decision-making by dynamically changing the chart background color in response to Golden (bullish) and Death (bearish) crossovers, providing a visual representation of the market's momentum.
Features:
Golden and Death Crossover Detection: Utilizes a 50-period SMA and a 200-period SMA to identify potential buy (golden cross) and sell (death cross) points.
Continuous Background Coloring: Changes the chart's background color to green for golden crosses and red for death crosses, offering an intuitive grasp of market trends.
Customizable Lookback Period: Allows users to adjust the lookback period for calculating the success rate of each crossover, making the indicator adaptable to various trading strategies.
Success Rate Calculation: Provides an additional layer of analysis by calculating the historical success rate of crossovers within the specified lookback period.
Instructions:
Adding the Indicator: Search for "Advanced Golden and Death Crossover Indicator" in the TradingView Indicators & Strategies library and add it to your chart.
Customization: Access the indicator settings to adjust the lookback period according to your trading preferences.
Interpretation: Use the continuous background color as a guide to market conditions, with green indicating bullish momentum and red indicating bearish momentum. The success rate of past crossovers can help assess the reliability of the signals.
How the Script Works:
The Advanced Golden and Death Crossover Indicator operates by continuously monitoring two key moving averages (MAs) on your chart: a short-term (50-period) SMA and a long-term (200-period) SMA. Here's a step-by-step breakdown of its functionality:
Crossover Detection:
Golden Cross: When the short-term MA crosses above the long-term MA, indicating potential bullish momentum, the script identifies this as a Golden Cross signal.
Death Cross: Conversely, when the short-term MA crosses below the long-term MA, suggesting potential bearish momentum, the script flags this as a Death Cross signal.
Background Coloring:
Upon detecting a Golden Cross, the script changes the chart background to green, visually representing a bullish market condition.
Upon detecting a Death Cross, the chart background turns red, indicating bearish market conditions.
This color change remains in effect until the next crossover event, providing a continuous visual cue of the market's trend direction.
Success Rate Calculation:
The script calculates the historical success rate of these crossovers within a user-defined lookback period. This metric helps assess the reliability of the signals based on past performance.
Customization:
Users have the flexibility to adjust the lookback period for the success rate calculation, allowing for customization according to individual trading strategies and risk preferences.
Application in Trading Analysis:
Traders can use this indicator as part of their technical analysis toolkit to make informed decisions about entry and exit points. The visual cues from the continuous background coloring, combined with the success rate of past signals, provide a comprehensive overview of market trends and crossover reliability. It’s important for traders to combine this indicator with other analysis tools and consider broader market conditions to optimize their trading strategy.

Golden ZoneIntroducing the "Golden Zone" indicator, a powerful tool that simplifies the Fibonacci indicator by creating a clear Golden Zone to identify potential future price movements. The Golden Zone is a supply or demand zone that corresponds to the 61.8% and 50% Fibonacci retracement levels. These levels are important because they often mark zones where the price reacts, making it an essential area for traders to watch.
The script plots the Fibonacci levels in the background, enabling traders to identify potential support and resistance levels quickly. The Golden Zone is highlighted with a yellow filled area, making it easy to spot on the chart. Traders use this zone to identify areas where the stock price may react, either bouncing off the support level or encountering resistance at the resistance level.
For example, if a stock price is moving up and reaches the Golden Zone, a trader may look for signs of resistance and consider selling the stock if the price begins to move back down. Conversely, if a stock price is moving down and reaches the Golden Zone, a trader may look for signs of support and consider buying the stock if the price begins to move back up.
The "Golden Zone" indicator is highly versatile and can be used in all markets, whether you are a swing trader or a day trader. It can be combined with other strategies, such as an EMA crossover strategy or price action, or as an area of confluence.
In summary, the "Golden Zone" indicator is a must-have tool for traders looking to identify potential price movements and locate key support and resistance levels. Its user-friendly inputs and clear display make it a valuable addition to any trading arsenal.
So, the "Golden Zone" indicator is like a magic tool that helps people who trade in the stock market find valuable things to buy or sell. And with its ability to identify key support and resistance levels, it can help traders make better-informed decisions when buying or selling stocks.

Golden PocketGolden Pocket
This marks up the fibonacci retracement levels of 0.65 and 0.618 by default, these levels are often referred to as the golden pocket.
They are known by this because when price has an impulse either to the up or downside, price will end up retracing at some point. This Golden pocket often lines up with other means of confluence where it's considered a good entry price from the retrace.
Unlike standard fib retracement indicators, these boxes will extend with current price until they are hit. As well as this, there is a moving average filter which you can set to higher timeframes meaning that you can choose to only look for golden pockets which are following the higher time frame trend. You can easily monitor all of your settings by setting up just 1 alert.
Settings
You have the option to enable/disable the line which marks out the pivot points the fib is being calculated from, you can also change the colour and style of the line.
Below this you have the option to choose what colour the fib boxes are and what colour they change to once price hits it. If you want them to disappear change the colours opacity to 0%.
If you want to change the golden pocket levels you can do that by changing the 0.618 or 0.65 levels in the settings.
The pivot distance controls what part defines a pivot high or low, it must be the highest/lowest to the left/right of the pivot candle count.
MA filter will only accept golden pockets which are trending with the Moving average.
You can change all the settings of the Moving average which acts as a filter including which timeframe it is calculated on.
Alerts
Simply toggle this on int the settings and then click on the 3 dots next to the indicators name, 'add alert', leave the top boxes as they are, you can name the alert anything you like but once you confirm this, it will monitor all golden pockets on the particular asset and timeframe you are looking at. The alerts are set up to trigger as soon as price touches one of the boxes.
Use Cases
We like setting are moving average up on the daily timeframe and using the Moving average filter so we know we are only trading with the higher timeframe trend. From there we can set up alerts on any lower timeframe.
Feel free to use any part of this script in your own code, please just give us a mention so we can check out your contributions to the community as well!

Bitcoin Golden Pi CyclesTops are signaled by the fast top MA crossing above the slow top MA, and bottoms are signaled by the slow bottom MA crossing above the fast bottom MA. Alerts can be set on top and bottom prints. Does not repaint.
Similar to the work of Philip Swift regarding the Bitcoin Pi Cycle Top, I’ve recently come across a similar mathematically curious ratio that corresponds to Bitcoin cycle bottoms. This ratio was extracted from skirmantas’ Bitcoin Super Cycle indicator . Cycle bottoms are signaled when the 700D SMA crosses above the 137D SMA (because this indicator is closed source, these moving averages were reverse-engineered). Such crossings have historically coincided with the January 2015 and December 2018 bottoms. Also, although yet to be confirmed as a bottom, a cross occurred June 19, 2022 (two days prior to this article)
The original pi cycle uses the doubled 350D SMA and the 111D SMA . As pointed out this gives the original pi cycle top ratio:
350/111 = 3.1532 ≈ π
Also, as noted by Swift, 111 is the best integer for dividing 350 to approximate π. What is mathematically interesting about skirmanta’s ratio?
700/138 = 5.1095
After playing around with this for a while I realized that 5.11 is very close to the product of the two most numerologically significant geometrical constants, π and the golden ratio, ϕ:
πϕ = 5.0832
However, 138 turns out to be the best integer denominator to approximate πϕ:
700/138 = 5.0725 ≈ πϕ
This is what I’ve dubbed the Bitcoin Golden Pi Bottom Ratio.
In the spirit of numerology I must mention that 137 does have some things going for it: it’s a prime number and is very famously almost exactly the reciprocal of the fine structure constant (α is within 0.03% of 1/137).
Now why 350 and 700 and not say 360 and 720? After all, 360 is obviously much more numerologically significant than 350, which is proven by the fact that 360 has its own wikipedia page, and 350 does not! Using 360/115 and 720/142, which are also approximations of π and πϕ respectively, this also calls cycle tops and bottoms.
There are infinitely many such ratios that could work to approximate π and πϕ (although there are a finite number whose daily moving averages are defined). Further analysis is needed to find the range(s) of numerators (the numerator determines the denominator when maintaining the ratio) that correctly produce bottom and top signals. Indicador
