Most traders are familiar with the 15-minute opening range strategy. This approach applies the same concept to the first 30 seconds of the session, a period where early directional control is often established. This allows for earlier participation when price is setting up for a potential trend day, without waiting 15 minutes for the first opportunity.

Order-flow confirmation (bid/ask, absorption, momentum shifts) can be helpful when trading reactions at the opening range. If the initial breakout is missed, the pay lines and rotation levels can also be used as structured areas to engage with price as the session develops.
