Overview
This indicator allows users to select from multiple types of moving averages (Simple Moving Average - SMA, Exponential Moving Average - EMA, Weighted Moving Average - WMA, and Volume Weighted Moving Average - VWMA) and define their lengths, providing flexibility to create various combinations of Moving Average crossovers.
Features:
- Multiple Moving Average Types: SMA, EMA, WMA, and VWMA for both moving averages.
- User-Defined Lengths: Customize the length of each moving average.
- Crossover Signals: Generates clear buy signals when the shorter moving average crosses above the longer moving average and sell signals when it crosses below.
- Visual Cues: Plots the selected moving averages on the chart with distinct colors, and marks crossover points with buy/sell labels for easy identification.
How It Works:
1. User Inputs: Define the type and length for two moving averages via the input panel.
2. Moving Average Calculation: The indicator computes the moving averages based on the selected types and lengths.
3. Signal Generation: Buy and sell signals are generated when the chosen moving averages cross each other.
4. Chart Plotting: The moving averages are plotted on the chart, and crossover points are highlighted with buy (green) and sell (red) labels.
