CRASH MONITOR
#DESCRIPTION
The CRASH MONITOR is an early signal generator based on the VIX to help identify an upcoming crash in the stock market at an early stage. The VIX, which is also known as the fear barometer, is viewed here in relation to various VIX futures to identify Contango or Backwardation.
The individual indicators and ticker symbols used in the calculation are:
1. RSI (5)
The calculation is made from VIX (close)
The position of RSI (5) to the price.
RSI (5) < 50, box is GREEN
RSI (5) > 50, box is GREEN
2. ticker symbols
X = VIX
Y = VIX9D, VIX3M, VIX6M, VIXMO, VXVCLS, VXMT, VMST, VX1!, VX2!
For all of them:
X < Y box is GREEN
X < Y box is RED

The indicator serves as the leading indicator.

The indicator is particularly suitable for stock markets.
#NOTE
The CRASH MONITOR is not a timing indicator. The indicator only gives an indication of a phase of high volatility. Nevertheless, I would personally be carried away to the assessment, all boxes red, is the stock death. Please check the significance of the indicator in the backtest.
