This script is an automated Price Action system designed to detect "Liquidity Traps" (also known as Swing Failure Patterns) at key structural levels. It combines a dynamic Pivot Scanner with a Volume-Weighted Trend Filter to identify high-probability reversal zones.

TECHNICAL METHODOLOGY

The script operates on a three-stage algorithmic logic, fully automated within the code:

Dynamic Pivot Scanner (The Structure): Instead of using fixed support/resistance lines, the script runs a loop (for loop logic) to scan historical Swing Highs and Swing Lows. It dynamically identifies the nearest valid Resistance and Support levels relative to the current price. This creates an adaptive range that updates as market structure evolves.

Smart Trap Logic (The Trigger): The core signal engine looks for specific "Trap" behaviors at the identified levels:

Bear Trap (Long Setup): The Low of the candle pierces below the Support level, but the Candle Close finishes back above the Support level. This indicates a rejection of lower prices and a potential liquidity sweep.

Bull Trap (Short Setup): The High of the candle pierces above the Resistance level, but the Candle Close finishes back below the Resistance level.

Volume-Weighted Trend Filter (The Context): To filter out low-quality signals, the script calculates a Z-Score based on volume and price location relative to the range. It determines if the background trend is Bullish or Bearish. If the "Trend Filter" option is enabled, the script will only execute Long Traps during a Bullish structural context and vice versa.

Mission Selector: A built-in multi-timeframe engine. Users can select "Scalping", "Intraday", or "Swing", and the script automatically adjusts the analysis and projection timeframes to match (e.g., analyzing 15m structure for 5m entries).
