European stock markets traded higher on Thursday, supported by signs of UK growth.
At 03:55 ET (07:55 GMT), the DAX index in Germany was trading 0.3% higher, the FTSE 100 index in the UK was up 0.4% and the CAC 40 index in France was up 0.2 %.
UK gross domestic product grew 0.2% in August, a significant improvement from the previous month's unexpectedly revised 0.6% decline.
“The UK economy is growing but remains in a precarious state,” said David Bharier, head of research at the British Chambers of Commerce.
