>Euro Area consumer price inflation fell to 5.5% from 6.1% in June 2023, below market expectations and the ECB's target. Core inflation remained high at 5.4%. Energy prices declined, while food and non-energy goods rose at a slower pace. Services inflation increased. Monthly consumer prices rose 0.3%.
>Euro Area's unemployment rate remained at a record low of 6.5% in May 2023, indicating a tight labor market. The number of unemployed decreased to the lowest level since 1995. Youth unemployment rate also remained unchanged at a record low of 13.9%. Germany had the lowest jobless rate, while Spain, Italy, and France had higher rates.
