PASE Master - USA Index, Metal, Crypto & Commodity Pack

Introduction: Price Action Signal Expert (PASE) Master indicator is designed based on comprehensive price action concepts. Besides using the candle anatomy, this indicator also uses price patterns and EMAs to calculate the probable Trend BUY/SELL, Range BUY/SELL, Breakout (BO) BUY/SELL, BUY/SELL Exhaust, BUY/SELL Exit and BUY/SELL Reversal signals.

Valid Symbols and their Exchanges supported: This indicator supports the following Symbols from their respective exchanges.

Exchange : Symbol
BLACKBULL : US30
FX : NAS100
FX : XAUUSD
FX : XAGUSD
COINBASE : BTCUSD
FOREXCOM : USOIL
FOREXCOM : NATURALGAS

The “Valid Symbol” table will always be displayed on the chart as a ready reference, if you wish to disable, you may visit the indicator settings and unselect “Show VALID SYMBOLS Label” option.

How to use the indicator: This indicator may be used as a guidance tool for intraday (1/3/5/15 minute timeframes) and positional trading (1H/1D/1W/1M timeframes) requirements.

High prospect BUY/SELL Signals: The Green/Red arrows on the chart are trend BUY/SELL signals. The Greens arrows are high probability bull trend BUY signals and the Red ones are high probability bear trend Sell signals.

If a Green BUY signal is triggered on the chart, validate the candle location on the chart and ensure that it is situated at some kind of bullish context such as a higher high or bouncing above a support zone (like PDL or moving average line). If you decide to trade such Green BUY signal, keep the stoploss below the lowest of previous two bars (-2) just before the Green BUY Signal bar.

Similarly, if a Red SELL signal is triggered on the chart, validate the candle location on the chart, ensure that it is situated at some kind of bearish context such as a lower low or bouncing below a resistance zone (like PDH or moving average line). If you decide to trade such Red SELL signal, keep the stoploss above the highest of previous two bars (-2) just before the Red SELL Signal bar. Ensure to add a small margin to the stoploss to take care of the initial noise after the signal generation.

As a best practice, enter in to the trend when the trend signal candle close is near to the moving average (EMA20). Follow the same rule when you are entering in to the developed trends (later entry in to the trending markets) or on follow on trend signal candles.

For higher probabilities, while entering in to the Green BUY follow on trend signal; ensure that the current Green BUY signal Close is at a higher level compared to the previous the Green BUY signal. Similarly, while entering in to the Red SELL follow on trend signal; ensure that the current Red SELL signal Close is at a lower level compared to the previous the Red SELL signal.
Always as a best practice, buy above high of the BUY signal bar and sell below low of the SELL signal bar. If the signal bar is apparently large in size, wait for the next smaller signal bar in the same direction with a bullish context to enter into the trade, this helps to keep the stoploss exposure to a minimum.

Low prospect BUY/SELL Signals: The Grey arrow signals represent low probability Buy/Sell signals. If a low prospective BUY signal is part of an already established bull trend with an up trending moving average, you can consider trading the setup as a follow on trend BUY opportunity for one more leg upside. Similarly, if a low prospective SELL signal is part of an already established bear trend with a down trending moving average, you can consider trading the setup as a follow on trend SELL opportunity for one more leg downside.

In an already established bull trend with an up trending moving average, if you come across a pair of consecutive bear/bull reversal bars (a bear hammer immediately followed by a bull hammer), you can consider to trade the setup as a follow on trend BUY opportunity for one more leg upside. Similarly, in an already established bear trend with a down trending moving average, if you come across a pair of consecutive bull/bear reversal bars (a bull hammer immediately followed by a bear hammer), you can consider trading the setup as a follow on trend SELL opportunity for one more leg downside.

Range BUY/SELL Signals: The Blue arrow signals represent range scalping Buy/Sell signals arising out of uncertainties and the sky Blue arrows represent ripple range opportunity signals arising out of extreme uncertainties in the market. The range signals generated near to the moving average would most probably fail. Hence, ensure the scalping and ripple range signals are present in an apparent climax location (considerably away from the moving average) on the chart. Trade these signals under caution with a minimum possible exposure and you can add on to the position size once the trade probability increases in the signal direction.

Note, the EXIT BUY/SELL signals will not generate on scalp/ripple range opportunity days (unless the opportunity extends as a trend day if the scalp/ripple range signal fails), in such situation one must exit the trade near some kind of support/resistance or demand/supply zones.

Breakout (BO) BUY/SELL Signals: Black colour BUY BO and SELL BO signals represents possible BO (breakout) ahead indication. Exercise BUY only if a Green BUY signal is triggered (generally within couple of bars) after a BUY BO signal appears on the chart. Similarly, sell only if a Red SELL signal is triggered (generally within couple of bars) after a SELL BO signal appears on the chart.

Trend Reversal BUY/SELL signals: Dark Brown color arrows indicate possible BULL/BEAR climax reversals. If any of these signals fail, there could be another leg in the original direction of the trend.

Trend EXIT Signal: The indicator also indicates possible exits for both Buy and Sell on a trend day. These exits are marked Black in color with X-Cross symbol and named as "EXIT BUY" and "EXIT SELL". If any of these signals fail, there could be another leg in the original direction of the trend.

SPECIAL NOTE on Trend Continuation: It is difficult to reverse an established trend on the chart as most attempts to reverse the strong trend usually fail. When the chart is in bull trend, if any of the “Bear Reversal Signal” (such as high/low prospect SELL signal, RANGE SELL, RIPPLE RANGE SELL, EXIT BUY, EXHAUST BUY, REVERSAL SELL signal) appears above the bull trending moving average followed by an immediate Green BUY signal, you can trade the setup as a follow on trend BUY opportunity for one more leg upside. Also, if the “Bear Reversal Signal” above the bull trending moving average is confidently reversed within few bars (usually 5/6 bars or less) led by a bull trend bar at the end, you can still consider to trade the setup as a follow on trend BUY opportunity for one more leg upside.

Similarly, when the chart is in bear trend, if any of the “Bull Reversal Signal” (such as high/low prospect BUY signal, RANGE BUY, RIPPLE RANGE BUY, EXIT SELL, EXHAUST SELL, REVERSAL BUY signal) appears below the bear trending moving average followed by an immediate Red SELL signal, you can trade the setup as a follow on trend SELL opportunity for one more leg downside. Also, if the “Bull Reversal Signal” below the bear trending moving average is confidently reversed within few bars (usually 5/6 bars or less) led by a bear trend bar at the end, you can still consider to trade the setup as a follow on trend SELL opportunity for one more leg downside.

SPECIAL NOTE on Trend Reversals: Markets shall always exhibit inertia, it keeps doing what it is been doing, hence even the best of the trend reversals and range reversals fail on a high energy fuelled trending days. A failed trend reversal setup or a range reversal setup may be used to increase the position size on trending days.

The bullish reversal signal below EMA20, such as “BUY REVERSAL”, “SELL EXHAUST” or “EXIT SELL” signals shall be considered valid only if a follow on bull trend bar (usually appears immediate or within 5/6 bars) closes above the HIGH of the bullish reversal signal bar. If this event fails, the market will move downside for one more leg provided if one of the follow on bars contains a SELL signal bar and the price should close below the bullish reversal signals like “BUY REVERSAL”, “SELL EXHAUST” or “EXIT SELL” either with a bear trend SELL signal bar or with just a bear trend bar within 5/6 bars.

Similarly, The bearish reversal signal above EMA20, such as “SELL REVERSAL”, “BUY EXHAUST” or “EXIT BUY” signals shall be considered valid only if a follow on bear trend bar (usually appears immediate or within 5/6 bars) closes below the LOW of the bearish reversal signal bar. If this event fails, the market will move upside for one more leg provided if one of the follow on bars contains a BUY signal bar and the price should close above the bearish reversal signals like “SELL REVERSAL”, “BUY EXHAUST” or “EXIT BUY” either with a bull trend BUY signal bar or with just a bull trend bar within 5/6 bars.

Note, in either case, “the trend reversal” or the “earlier trend continuation” shall happen within next 5/6 bars from the reversal signal bar. If this doesn’t happen, exit the market and keep watching the chart for further market action unfolding. Be dynamic and take the trading decisions as the market action unfolds on the chart.

Point to Ponder: This indicator provides some sort of signal guidance. However, without a rigorous practice of trading psychology and the trading discipline, these signals are of no use. As a thumb rule, if you encounter more than three consecutive stop losses on any given day, stop trading for the day and leave the desk.
