Australia's Bigtincan soars on higher takeover bid
** Shares of Bigtincan Holdings BTH climbs as much as 41.7% to A$0.170, set for their best day since late March 2020 - if current trend holds
** Shares currently up 33.3% as of 0105 GMT
** The sales automation software co says it has received a higher takeover proposal from Vector Capital Management for A$0.20 per share, valuing company at about A$164.3 million ($110.84 million)
** Co says it will evaluate the revised proposal with input from external advisors
** Shares hit highest since April 11
** About 2.3 mln shares change hands, 2.1 times compared with the 30-day average volume of 1.1 mln shares
** Including day's moves, stock has fallen ~13.9% this year
