Here's a quick Look at BTC fib-levels and the overall daily chart . As we can see, the price has been forming falling wedge and the price is still oscillating within it! A falling wedge Is a bullish pattern , but a break below it could cause a bigger drop in price. Also the fib levels are very important to look at. As we can see, the price is currently below the 0.382 fib level and if we get a daily close below it, we could get down to test the 0.5 fib-level (49.3k). The best entry would be, when the price gets within the entry zone. ------------------------------------------- Fibonacci Retracement Levels:
"Fibonacci retracement levels are horizontal lines that indicate where support and resistance are likely to occur. They stem from Fibonacci’s sequence, a mathematical formula that originated in the 13th century. Each level is associated with a percentage. The percentage is how much of a prior move the price has retraced. The Fibonacci retracement levels are 23.6%, 38.2%, 61.8%, and 78.6%."
Key Takeaways for Fib-levels:
- Fibonacci retracement levels connect any two points that the trader views as relevant, typically a high point and a low point. - The percentage levels provided are areas where the price could stall or reverse. - The most commonly used ratios include 23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%, and 78.6%. - These levels should not be relied on exclusively, so it is dangerous to assume the price will reverse after hitting a specific Fibonacci level
------------------------------------------- What Is a Wedge in the context of trading?:
"A wedge is a price pattern marked by converging trend lines on a price chart. The two trend lines are drawn to connect the respective highs and lows of a price series over the course of 10 to 50 periods. The lines show that the highs and the lows are either rising or falling and differing rates, giving the appearance of a wedge as the lines approach a convergence. Wedge shaped trend lines are considered useful indicators of a potential reversal in price action by technical analysts.
Key Takeaways for Falling wedges:
1. Wedge patterns are usually characterized by converging trend lines over 10 to 50 trading periods.
2. The patterns may be considered rising or falling wedges depending on their direction.
3. These patterns have an unusually good track record for forecasting price reversals." ------------------------------------------- If you like the content, then make sure to comment and like the post :D
