Unlike what you see in the movies, documentaries, and lifestyle gurus, trading is meant to be completely BORING!
We’re often drawn into the trading arena with the concept of high-intensity and thrilling trading being executed off 25 monitors all showing different charts and analytics. This couldn’t be further from the truth, and the reality is that the more intensive your trading and investing is, the more likely you are to suffer as a consequence.
Successful trading is a byproduct of calmness, calculation, and a serious amount of patience!
Take the Cryptocurrency Market as an example, a fast-paced wild west of endless insanity most of the time, occasionally moving slower as we can see throughout February. A market already so erratic cannot be challenged with more erratic behaviour, that’s a recipe for disaster. The market must be challenged with patience and discipline, the ability to wait days, weeks, or months until the correct prices are met. When the market moves, it moves quickly and unforgiving for those who missed out. Yet the only way to capture these moves is by sitting on your hands when the market is moving slowly, in order to slowly position yourself before the big pumps and dumps
The same applies to Forex, which is why we utilise our #SniperZones to take the stress out of the process and snipe entries at zones that are premeditated days in advance, allowing us to filter out the noise and emotion when the market frequently moves aggressively towards these zones before reversing in our favour.
Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.
Create routine and structure in your trading. This is where having a strategy you abide by religiously becomes your best friend. Market’s are not always predictable, and we can never know with 100% certainty what will happen next. A strict set of rules you follow religiously is absolutely boring, but an absolute necessity to achieve longevity.
We consider it a small price to pay for a lifelong career in this game
