SPX | XAU | BTC Comparison: Last Cycle vs. Now

hace 4 díasThe crypto community is buzzing with surprise as the S&P500 and Gold continue hitting new all-time highs, despite current economic conditions, while Bitcoin has been stuck in a downtrend for over 6 months.

After digging into this, I noticed an interesting pattern. In the last cycle, something similar happened. Starting in early 2019, the S&P500, Gold, and Bitcoin all rallied together. But BTC was the only one to enter a correction nearly 9 months before the other two.
After the 2020 market crash, the S&P500 and Gold rose by only +110% and +65%, respectively. Bitcoin, however, delivered a staggering 15x return.

Will history repeat itself? Most likely, yes.
Will BTC see the same explosive growth? Probably not.
