Pivot Reversal Strategy + RSI

Bitcoin / US Dollar Perpetual Inverse Swap ContractBitMEX

Descripción

Pivot Reversal Strategy + RSI

A modified version of the standard PRS with an RSI overbought/oversold filter

Comment/uncomment "Study/Strategy" to easily switch to strategy() mode
As long as it is used in the study() version, the indicator is compatible with the Risk Management Wrapper

Separate Alerts for Buy & Sell signals
Single Alert for both Buy & Sell signals - it can also be used by another indicator as a source

Notas de prensa

Fixed some bad code.
The study() now shows exactly when the Strategy Tester executes the orders.

Hi thanks for the very good indicator why not set the RSI length as an input? Regards

Nice! This is actually much better than I thought it could be. This is almost complete, it's just a few things that need to be altered. The signals don't show up at the same points as the other strategy code found on your Pastebin. The profits compared from here to that Pastebin post are around 2500%. I think that after some work this could really be something.

Thank you for putting the time into this, I genuinely do appreciate it.

Also forgot to mention that I'm using the same settings as you on this except the timeframe. I'm still sticking with the 45m since the profits are better by around 700% compared to the 1h chart (0% fees on both still)

@Turquoise4311, After 4 long years. Are you using these indicators? or Didi you find any gold mine indicators?
Please let me know.
KryptoNight
@Turquoise4311,
There is a small issue in trying to filter the signals with an RSI or something else, because the buy and sell signals generated by the PRS (without RSI) are alternating.
So when you had a Short1, and you filter out a Buy1, the next signal will be a Short2, but probably at a much higher level since you filtered the Buy1. This leaves you underwater.

I tried to close the Short1 by using the Buy1, instead of filtering it.
Turquoise4311
@KryptoNight, Do you think it's possible to fix?
KryptoNight
@Turquoise4311, It depends on what you want to do: use only Shorts or only Longs; use a Risk Management system to take care of your positions (eg to exit the Short1); close the current position if the next signal is filtered; add up to the position - DCA...
Turquoise4311
@KryptoNight, Is it possible to make 2 different indicators, one being shorts and the other being longs?
