RSI Multi Time Frame [Jigga]

Bitcoin / US Dollar Perpetual Inverse Swap ContractBitMEX

Descripción

This indicator simply displays RSI on 4 time frames. You can configure individual RSI lengths as well. The first two RSIs are more visible to prevent clustering. It is possible to define oversold / overbought areas and the script displays the middle line as well.

A couple of use cases:

  • Comparison of 7, 12, 18 and 24 RSIs on a given time frame
  • Comparison of 14 RSI on 30m, 1h, 2h and 3h time frame (Default settings)

Please, always use a proper stop loss and risk management.

Hello Jigga. Thanks for creating this indicator. I noticed that this is repainting. Is there a possible way to rectify it.

Dear Sir
I have been using your script RSI MTF
Recently I realised there are a few changes to the script, so I went ahead and made it as follows:
RSI Series: Close
RSI Length 1~4 : 14
Custom TF:
RSI TF 1: 1 Hour
RSI TF 2: 1 Day
RSI TF 3: 1 Week
RSI TF 4: 1 Month

I took example of Sporting India, and here are my observations
I assumed that the Script will show same RSI 3 and 4 on W and M TF’s as this is the whole purpose of the script, but

1. On Weekly TF:

RSI 3: 50.3
RSI 4: 70.9

2. And On Monthly TF:

RSI 3: 61.4
RSI 4: 70.9

You will observe that RSI 4 is the same (in Point 1 and 2), but RSI 3 on Monthly TF (point 2) increases and defeats the whole purpose of script.

I went ahead and checked the default Tradingview RSI updated and it shows as follows:

3. On Weekly TF

RSI 50.26 (This is similar to the one you display in Weekly TF at Point 1 and not Point 2

4. On Monthly TF

RSI 70.93 (which is similar to the one you display)

So I have a feeling that RSI 3 (weekly) at Monthly TF on your script may need some correction to correctly display the weekly RSI as ~50.26~50.3
