Butterfly harmonic pattern completes at 1.272XA ( I think you know it if you have read Scott Carney's books/watched his video tutorials/got the certified harmonic trader course). Moreover, it should be complemented by ab=cd measurement and corresponding bc inversion (1.618/2.0/2.24). All three levels should be crossed by a terminal price bar on a Primary timeframe. Within the next bar you are to switch to your Proximate timeframe to find your entry. Once in a trade you should actively manage it using trendlines( a primary trendline and accelerated one)
Butterfly advanced formation completes at 1.272AB (not XA). The limit order is placed at the completion level. A set-and-forget method, no trade management is required.
