Echando un breve vistazo al gráfico de esta compañía se podría decir que apenas ha sufrido el impacto del coronavirus, puesto que PELOTON INTERACTIVE ha ido creciendo lenta, pero constantemente desde mediados de Marzo.
Si echamos un vistazo al indicador Alligator de Williams, la línea azul (media móvil a largo plazo) se ha mantenido durante todo este tiempo por debajo de la verde y de la roja (medias móviles a corto plazo), señal alcista que efectivamente coincide con el recorrido que ha seguido esta empresa. Sin embargo, a día de hoy las tres líneas ya no apuntan claramente hacia arriba, sino que la línea verde está comenzando a apuntar hacia abajo, mientras que la azul y la roja parece que están tomando una posición más horizontal, lo que se puede traducir como una señal bajista.
Tras identificar esta primera señal bajista, decidí echarle un vistazo al MACD. Tal y como se puede apreciar en la parte inferior de la pantalla, el MACD cruzó a la baja la línea de señal el pasado 21 de Octubre y, por último, ese mismo día gráfico también podemos apreciar que el VSTOP se volvió rojo, lo que corroboraría mi hipótesis de que el mercado nos está dando, efectivamente, señales bajistas
Es importante remarcar que estas señales bajistas no implican que vaya a comenzar una nueva tendencia bajista inmendiatamente, puesto que pueden también significar un alto en el camino. Sin embargo, me gusta prestar atención a los indicadores porque es importante interpretar las señales que nos proporcionan. Por ello, si yo fuera un inversor que tuviera esta empresa dentro de mi cartera de mercado, prestaría atención a la evolución del precio en las próximas jornadas, puesto que identificar una nueva tendencia bajista a tiempo puede limitar enormemente nuestras pérdidas !

Having a quick look at this company's graph, we could state that it has been barely affected by the coronavirus situation because PELOTON INTERACTIVE has been slowly but constantly increasing the price of its shares since March.
If we have a look at the William's Alligator Indicator, the blue line (long run moving average) has been below the red and green lines (short run moving averages) during all this period, upward signal which in fact matches the evolution of this company's prices all along the way. Nevertheless, nowadays the three lines do not point upwards anymore. The green line points down and the blue and red ones seem to be pointing horizontally, which can be interpreted as a downward.
After identifying this first downward signal, I had a look at the MACD. We can observe that the MACD crossed down the signal line on October 21st and, lastly, on that same day the VTOP also turned red, supporting my hypothesis of the market is giving us downward signals.
It is important to mention that these signals do not imply that a new downward trend is immediately going to start, as they could mean a stop along the way. Nonetheless, I like to analyse the indicators' signals because it is important to interpret the valuable information they can give us. Accordingly, if I were an investor having this company inside his investment portfolio, I would pay attention to how the price behaves in the following journeys (days, weeks) because identifying a new downward trend in advance can enormously limit our losses !
